I would have thought that this being higher priced and it being 6 years worth of technology later, it would have been a much better soundbar than the Vizio but it only really beat it out in ease of connectivity. Our TV literally had better sound than this with it's built-in speakers so we ended up taking this back. That's not to say that this wouldn't be an improvement for someone else's set up so you'd really have to just try it out for yourself.
