If you want a sound bar, upgrade to a 3 channel speaker system. That way the voice sounds comes out of a designated speaker and the music and bass comes from the the other 2. It will give you more of a movie theater effect.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to replace my VIZIO 29” 2.0 Sound Bar | SB2920-C which I got roughly 3-4 years ago. *The LG soundbar sounds terrible in comparison. *It lacks any interesting features such as surround sound mode. * To be fair it offers DNR and bass boot. The former being Dynamic Volume range which is redundant as my 5 year old TV already has that feature and bass boast on a soundbar that already struggles with mids and highs seems like a strange option to include. *If you use bluetooth on a windows PC with this soundbar, it will supercede any other setting while that feature is enabled. EX. you are playing a game, your laptop is closed and the actual game is playing through the LG soundbar. The moment you open your laptop it will switch to bluetooth. You must manually disable it each time you are done with it. *Final thoughts, overpriced, poor performing, weak features, Keep looking!

Wanted to love it.

This fit the budget however I wish I would’ve just spent a bit more and got a different one with better quality. This one tends to cut in and out. The sound would just randomly disappear and then return a few minutes later. Can be annoying when it happens right in the middle of a good movie.

I ended up putting in my bedroom that did have optical and wow it worked. Super loud

The sound bar doesn’t have a sub But it’s a small room and I thought that would be OK. The sound bar actually wasn’t much better than the sound that comes out of the TV but I kept it and it’s fine.

As it turns out the sound bar does not sound any better than the TV's own sound. I expected better sound definition, at least more base, I ended up returning it, as it was uneccesary.

Gives me the volume needed
