Bought this sound bar open box for $56 bucks so can't complain much. It is much better than my tv's own speakers but wish it had more bass. If you watch a lot of movies it does have cinema setting that amplifies background sounds and it makes people's voices clearer. I love the Bluetooth feature. I use it to stream my music from my smartphone and it has good clarity. This particular model would be good for small to medium sized bedroom. It's easy to hook up to a tv and setup and pair with your phone etc. I would give it 5 stars if it had a little more bass :)

I can't speak highly enough about how pleased I am with the volume and sound quality coming from this sound bar thru my LG Smart TV and also my phone's Bluetooth using my Go music player Plus player. It simply fills my 20' x 20' bedroom, bathroom and walk in closet areas with high quality sound and the clarity is excellent and not overridden with too much bass. 3 different preset sound choices for watching TV or movies are standard, voice, and Colesium. The remote controlled makes it extremely easy to control and switch from Bluetooth to optical to portable. Comes with optical cable for direct connecting compatible TV's And pairing with phone for music is easy as 1 2 3 done. Excellent quality product and performance all around. Worth more than what I paid for sure. 5 stars from me!

l ordered the LG 2.0-Channel sound bar to go with my 55" LG LCD TV. I've owned the TV for approximately 3-year and I finally decided it was time to trade the unimpressive audio supplied by two rear facing speakers talking to the wall. I bought the LG Soundbar on line and picked it up at Best Buy, Setting up the sound bar was very simple: Plug in the line cord to 110 VAC. put the batteries into the remote, connect the optical audio cable, turn on the TV and immerse my self in great audio from a very inexpensive sound bar. Oh, the optical audio cable is included with the LG Soundbar. I bought an optical audio cable from Best Buy just in case. from Best Buy, I returned it. I recommend this poor mans surround audio system to everyone because the LG 2.0 Channel Soundbar is a great value. I didn't get the same sound as a high end surround sound system would give me, but then I didn't spend $2,000 either! I want to take this opportunity to thank Best Buy for providing a great web site. I needed a sound bar for my tv upstairs, my room is 15’x12’, it sounds great plus when there is a UFC fight I use it outside and is loud enough and after the fight you can play music to continue the party. It comes with the digital optical audio cable, check your tv before you buy it, to see if you have this input.

This sound bar would be great for a small bedroom. Maybe LG can add a subwoofer. Not bad at all for the price, it just wasn't the sound I was looking for. Took it back for something with a sub.

I finally mounted my 49" inch LG tv over my fireplace which was on a tv mounted stand before. After a week or so I notice I had to have the sound up double or more to hear all the voices/sounds. I'm thinking the tv being up much higher and the fact 5 inches below the tv is a fireplace mantel. Once i turn the ac window until on i could barely hear anything and was maxing out the sound on the tv. I knew it was time to get a sound bar, wasnt really interested in top notch sound thats super expense. After looking over options I knew i didnt want a 2 piece soundbar with a subwoofer. Floor space was a premium with my 2yr daugther running around and i already have a nice sound system in my mancave. BB has two LG options a 40 watt for 99.99 or 100 watt for 129.99, knew the 40 watt might not but enough and was lucky the 100 watt system went on sale over memorial day weekend for 79.99. Bought it had it delivered 3 days later. Easy hook up with optical cable to direct tv box, Also there are zero HDMI hook ups...only way is optical cable which is included in the box. Comes with mounting brackets which i didnt need to use since it was going to sit on my mantel. Remote is small and easy to use and the soundbar has blue tooth which is awasome to hook up with phone to play music while cleaning. All in all the soundbar works perfect for me, plenty of loud, price at 129.99 was affordable but getting the soundbar at 79.99 was a steal of a deal.

I was looking for a sound bar for my thin LED TV with very thin and less than good speakers. I already owned an LG sound bar with bass sub woofer and enjoy the sound it emits. I knew this product would meet my expectations. I was very happy to find this LG sound bar on a great sale price of $70. Many of the negative reviews relate directly to the lack of bass - you have to realize it does not have the bass sub woofer in this package. If you want that, find the LG sound bar when it's on sale for $150, you're not going to find an LG with bass sub woofer for a price point any cheaper. This product connects easily via wire or Bluetooth. A nice rich sound with different audio options. I would highly recommend this sound bar if you're looking for a bargain price; note you will not hear a lot of bass - upgrade and open your wallet a little more for a sound bar with sub woofer if that is your goal.

Got a really good price for this LG soundbar and matched it up with LG 43" 4K for the bedroom. Does what it should for this use. No issues. Still, have to use the remote to turn it on before I can use the TV remote or Dish remote. Not sure if it can hook up to turn on and off with the TV or Dish remote? Over all pleased. Did not need a subwoofer side box at this location For a living room/family room, I would move up to a 300 watt with the extra side box.

For the money it is well worth the $69.99 that I paid for it. But like several other reviewers said, it doesn't provide much bass. So if you're overly concerned about bass response, get a speaker with a wireless woofer. I purchased it for my motorhome and it works well for that. The sound is vastly superior to the built in TV speakers. It's just okay for music....won't knock your socks off but still produces a decent sound.

I bought this sound bar a couple months ago while it was on sale for 59.99. It's original price was like 100-120 or something like that. Thought it would be a great buy since i've been looking at sound bars for awhile but never could consciously put down 100+ bucks on something that i don't need (My Tv still has a decent sound system in it). Nevertheless, I purchased this one and I am quite satisfied with it. It automatically synced with both my remotes for my TV (Cable and TV Remotes), and was a breeze to get it set up. Sounds great, and has a shockingly high max. Looks great next to my all black TV, and it even came with a mount to put it up on the wall if My TV was already hung up. The remote it came with is pretty easy to use but has a couple buttons that I still do not know what do, i.e. "F", "DRC ON", DRC OFF", and "*". But it has the volume up/down, mute, and even 3 different "displays" of sound (Standard, Voice, and Cinema). All in All, great product for the price.

So I finally decided to buy this. I have placed an order before when it was on sale for $60 or $69 and cancelled it. Bummer! But I still got a good deal at $99. Very easy to set up. I was looking for manual there isn't any. Just let your brain work. Plug in the optical coaxial cable (which is included) to your sound bar and to your TV and that's it. Sound is amazing! I turned off my TV volume and using this instead for sound to watch regular TV, Netflix, HBO Now, Hulu and Amazoh oh on. The price and quality will not make you broke. So get it! xoxo

This is a good soundbar. I got it on sale and am very happy with it. I use it because the speakers that come on cheap TVs (such as element) are bad and usually too quiet on some shows. This will fix that problem. It has no subwoofer which is a shame but for the price that's hard to expect. I also use this as a Bluetooth speaker and while it's not as good as my tower speaker, it sounds very good and can get quite loud. Bass could be better but it's not bad. All in all it looks good, sounds good, is wall mountable if you want to, was a good price, is simple to use, makes your tv sound better and louder, and can be used as a Bluetooth speaker for music. Good buy if you're looking for a cheap soundbar.

This sound bar has a fantastic sound. Made a huge difference! Set up was easy, too, but the only issue was the remote was kinda tricky to use for set up. Otherwise great price and great choice.

I used an optical cord to attach the sound bar to my Vizio 55" 4K, and I have nothing but praise for it. My TV's speakers are weak at best, and I needed something to boost the sound within reason as I live in a townhouse; this soundbar went on sale for $55, and I jumped on it. I no longer need to crank the sound up to 40+ for movies or even 25+ for TV - instead I keep it within the range of 5-8. Hook-up could not be any easier. I have zero complaints. FYSA, I reserve 5-stars for something that blows my socks off - rare - and a rating of 4-stars represents my high satisfaction with the product.

Setting up the LG - 2.0-Channel Soundbar was easy. The unit I purchased came with an optical cable. While it does not produce earth-shattering sound (and I don't think it was meant to), this unit sounds much better than our TV. At under $60, this was a good deal.

Did not expect much , hope it sounded better than the TV's speakers, it did, a little better. Did not expect much from the tiny speakers on the bar, tried Bluetooth from my IPod, again pretty decent, the bass is definitely missing. For the price, it's not bad, compact compared to a stereo system, so 'you do get what you pay for.' I would recommend this as an alternative to the TV speakers, if you want more 'oomph', go elsewhere.

its a simple sound bar, but gives excellent sound. for the $, it was a great investment. simple hook up...straight out of the box, turned on, scanned device (using it as amplifier for iPod in office) and it paired quickly...beautiful sound...easy remote too.
