The sound is quite good even though this bar is only 2-channel. I've been very happy with LG products: television, tablet, and now the soundbar; they make good products. The soundbar does a great job when you accept that it's only 2-channel with no separate subwoofer. Plus I got it on sale so it was extremely reasonable.

Great value for the price. I connected this to my LG short throw projector realizing I need a better sound. Requirement was in can only be connected through Bluetooth since my outputs from projector are limited. This thing did the trick. Now scouting for a wireless base and rear speakers that are compatible with this model.

I have had this soundbar for a couple of weeks and I like it...a lot! I can't speak to durability but I can say it sounds great. I don't think it has enough power for a large room but gets the job done in a small to medium sized room. If you're gonna use it for a bedroom or den I would definitely recommend it!

I purchased it on sale so I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality. I used the optical connection and it worked with out any problem with the cable company remote as well the TV remote (not LG). I would prefer a cover over the speakers but given the price I am very satisfied with my purchase

Needed a second sound bar for a cheaper TV and didn't want to spend $300 like I did for the other TV. Definite improvement versus regular TV sound but can definitely tell my other LG sound bar sounds much better. You get what you pay for but if you want to upgrade your television sound for cheap I'd recommend

I purchased this sound bar to replace one that quit on me. I have this mounted outside on the back deck. It's covered but with humidity and rain I didn't want to spend too much money. So far it's doing a great job for us. Would like a little more volume, but it is outside. Great sound and easy setup.

I didn't get the associated sub-woofer because I have downstairs neighbors, and this sound bar doesn't put off great bass or mid-range sound by itself. The volume levels are also very far apart, so it's typically a little too loud or too quiet.

My husband and I bought this because it was on sale. It really is a great little sound bar. There's no bass, so we still need to purchase a speaker, but we barely have to turn the tv up when the bar is on. It's loud and clear and gets much louder than we need. Definitely worth the purchase.

This is my first time owning a sound bar and a TV to use it on too actually and I'm extremely satisfied. I had never heard of optical cables before and wasn't sure if it was going to be compatible with the TV I bought. Luckily, they're both LG so there were no issues. I compared the TV's sound with and without the bar and needless to say, it is absolutely necessary for the experience. Crisp, balanced sound that reverberates throughout my entire studio apartment. I'm afraid the neighbors will complain.

The sound quality of this sound bar is an improvement over the TV's built in speakers and it is not a bad value for the money. However, there is a big jump in volume level between too quiet and too loud. Otherwise decent sound bar.

This is a good sound bar for the price. Setup was a little difficult to have it controlled with the lg tv remote but finally got it to work correctly. If your looking for more bass then buy one with an additional subwoofer.

Sound is amazing for the price, but sometimes when switching to a different channel the sound stops. There are 3 different sound mode and I just have to circle through back to the previous mode to get the sound back. It is a small drawback but I still like it a lot.

This soundbar has great sound quality and it is reasonably priced. Great product to pair with your big screen TV.

Great sound. I don’t like the exposed speakers. I’d rather have a screen over it, but it’s in the bedroom so it’s fine. I like the Bluetooth option to play music.

I got this for almost half the price and it does everything they said it would do. Easy set up and works great.

My father is hard of hearing so he tends to crank up the TV's speakers on his flat panel TV. It's harsh, tinny, and trebly and no one else in the room can stand it. However, he doesn't want or need a lot of bass (subwoofer) which many good sound bars feature. This LG sound bar fits his need. The volume can be turned up to a decent volume with quality sound that he can hear and that everyone else in the room can hear comfortably as well.

I got this soundbar on sale and for the price, it sounds great. Very easy to setup and it has a good sound.

New TV's the speakers are facing the back or somewheree else than where the watcher is located. At times the cable co. decides tolower my audio and I can't hear it. I would turn the volume up near the max ans was afraid to blow the speakers, Thus the LG sound bar. It is Great. Wonderful sound and iyou can turn it up. I was in the bedroom ans still hear the sound. It looks super under the 40" TV. Very happy with. Would buy again and the same brans, LG.

The unit lacks bass compared with other soundbars that have a subwoofer or even small woofers with a bass port. But for the sale price, it is a great sounding soundbar. Purchased it to improve the audio of the TV speakers and it has served it's purpose well.
