Purchased this after reading online reviews and also seeing recommendation in Consumer Reports. Microwave functions great, is spacious and would definitely recommend to anyone needing a nice microwave.

I replaced a 20 year old microwave with this one. Heating times are half what I was used to. The capacity of this oven would hold a 20 lb turkey. Only con would be it a bit of a rattling noise from the carousel.

My 8 year old GE microwave just stopped working one day, so I had to purchase a new one. My husband did some research on the internet, and we decided on an LG. We selected this model over a "fancier" one with more features, and we have been completely satisfied. The controls are very intuitive (meaning I didn't have to study the manual to figure out how to use it!).

Perfect popcorn in 2 minutes, Extra roomy with the curved back and great interior color.

It just works like I expect it to. It's powerful, the controls are easy to use, and it looks good.

It worked fine for 6 months. Then it started acting strange. The lights would flicker sometimes, and the display clock would flicker and sizzle when in use. That seemed to stop, then about 30 minutes after I was done heating something up....IT TURNED ITSELF ON! I didn't believe it. And, the buttons wouldn't work to turn it off. I had to open the door. I thought I was dreaming, then a minute later it did it again. I unplugged it waited. Plugged it back in. Then about 10 minutes later again. It has happened several times since. I called LG and they said, "yes that happens sometimes." WHAT? That happens sometimes. I googled it, and yep it's on there. DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE

This is a good large countertop microwave. The only problem we have had is it quit working in less than 1 year. Luckly we had geek squad protection and Best Buy gave us a new one!

Our old microwave quit working. I researched microwaves on line and decided to purchase this one. Works better than was described.

This microwave is powerful and looks stylish as well. It's easy to clean and the kitchen timer comes in handy while cooking on the stove.

Excellent controls. Heats up and thaws food very well. No signs of dimming of the light bulb during microwave operation. Digital controls built well. Great unit to replace a low quality Jennair unit.

I love this microwave's large capacity and cooking power. The defrost feature works well on all kinds of meats & vegatables. I'm used to an over the range micro so getting used to a counter top micro is a little hard. I wish that it had the express cook buttons and "add 30 seconds" buttons though!

I have only had this product 10 months. I only use it to reheat food occasionally and it has already died. Longest cook time I ever used was 2 minutes. Today I just opened the door and all power shut down on the whole item. LG gave me 2 repair people in my area to go to. Walk in service only. It is sad because this item is still in like new condition 10 months later but has no power to the unit. I would never recommend this unit.

Bought to replace a ten-year old GE that still worked but was small. The LG offered a larger capacity, and, I believe, came recommended at the time by Consumer Reports. Used it mostly to reheat leftovers, generally three to four times per week. The reheat feature worked just fine, but now the reheat and two or three other nearby buttons have stopped working. Definitely will not buy another LG.

Nice looking microwave that is the right size for most countertops. So far seems to function well. Good deal.

We just purchased the microwave, so I can't speak to the longevity of the product. I wish I had not purchased it however, as we found after we got it set up, that the clock only stays on for five minutes. We rely heavily on the microwave clock in our kitchen, and this is worthless. I now have to purchase a wall clock for the kitchen, because there is no way to bypass the clock's standby mode.

Brought the first one home, hooked it up and Yikes! it sounded like someone dropped a spoon in the garbage disposal. LOUD! I called LG and asked if that was how it was supposed to sound (I held up the phone) and, after checking, he said no. I returned it & had them plug in the new one at the store & I made sure it sounded ok. The new one works fine but isn't the most powerful. At the sale price I'm happy w/purchase
