    I used it for a bit on my tv and then for my phone where I work but it didn’t go very loud and it would lower itself down automatically. For the price I expected a little more volume. Bass sounds nice and loud but music itself wasn’t loud enough.

    I purchased it on clearance wasn't expensive. It was not very good soundbar. I had a different Lg soundbar way better than this one.

    I have a LG 4 k TV. It's hard to hear

    I purchased this item because of the fact my TV does not get very loud. I figured. LG TV, LG sound bar. It did not make much of a difference between the sound bar and the TV in loudness. So I took it back. Not worth purchasing if you have a lg 4k TV. A higher quality sound bar might make a difference this is low quality.

    Easy Install - Good Upgrade

    Wanted to purchase the sk4 soundbar until I saw this one as an open box unit for less then $200. Setup was easy on our 49 inch LG set. We love the sound but are still playing around with optimal settings. Would like to get more volume from the subwoofer if possible. All in all a great value for the price and looking forward to adding the rear speakers at some point down the road.

    Loved it until one day the internet went out and now it says please wait and won’t work! Lasted just over a year for us

    Went into best buy looking to get the JBL 2.1 soundbar. It wasnt in stock so this LG was recommended. Easy set up, no problem. Im big on music playback and movies. Listening to music, I first noticed the sub woofer is weak. LG claims the total watts is 360, I highly doubt that. Another issue I noticed is that once a song starts playing, the volume and quality sounds great until about 25 seconds in, the volume tapers down by itself. I turned off the auto volume feature and the problem still persists. Mind you, the max volume on this sound bar is 49 and i rarely went over 25. I Called LG tech support and they suggested I reset the sound bar by unplugging the device and then holding the power button on the bar for 10 seconds. That didnt work. The last string was last friday when I was listening to music and the subwoofer started to go in and out constantly. Called LG tech support again and was told the troubleshooting I did with the reset was all they could do unless I to send it to their technician to "fix" (2 week process). No thanks. I was within the return period, so i went back to best buy and exchanged for the JBL soundbar I initially wanted and I am now satisfied.

    Sounds great, but isn't reliable

    Started great, but just a few months into owning the sound bar the bass would intermittently unpair/disconnect. It wasn't too noticeable at first, but over time it got worse. I called LG for tech support to see if there was something I could do to troubleshoot it but they just suggested I purchase a new soundbar which wasn't very helpful. A relative of mine has a different version of an LG sound bar and they are experiencing the same issue with the bass going out for minutes at a time. I really wish it hadn't started failing like that because overall the sound and bass are pretty nice when they actually work.

    It was my biggest mistake to buy this soundbar. You can barely hear any speeches no matter what function you put it on to I had to turn on subtitles. There is hardly any bass coming out of it. DTS is just for the sake of advertising, my TV Internal Speaker sounded better than this garbage. I had to finally buy a VIZIO 5.1 over it and it's amazing. My wife who doesn't know anything about the sound was surprised after listening to VIZIO. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON LG SOUNDBAR.

    Google cast groups stopped working
