I really want to like this bar, it makes armony between the tv and the bar, both LG. Sounds pretty decent for my personal opinion, but there’s an issue. The wireless subwoofer can’t be too far, it keeps connecting and disconnecting. At the beginning I thought i put it too far, but then I continued to move it even more near and it still doing it, even being just a foot aside it disconnects sometimes. I’m considering returning it and buy a different one, just because of that.

I saw this on display and had heard good things in general. I decided to buy it after hearing it. Afer getting it home and tinkering a little, I eventually found what I like and dislike. Likes: wireless sub, "surround sound", works with Google Assistant (awesome), easy to use, straightforward setup Dislikes: very little options to change bass/treble/mid tones, the app is subpar but works, the remote is a little dingy and needs updating, the sub drops out every now and then for about 1 second. Overall, I really like the speaker. It puts out good bass and mids. The treble is a little lacking. For the price, it's a good intro to soundbars and it definitely gets the job done.

Great sound quality using with tv and playing music through Bluetooth. Easy setup and linking Good low cost choice when tv just won’t go loud enough.

Bought open box and had to go back to get a remote but it is nice. Good sound for the price

These are worth the price, we had spend several months comparing to in store/online and when we came across these we then of course spent sometime in the store comparing again. We decided it was well worth spending extra as these are easy to set up can hear throughout the room clearly( I am kind of hard hearing). The best thing is when you switch it from tv to steaming or an app or Bluetooth on phone the volume stays the same.

Sounded good in store but demos are optimized to make it sound better. Used the ASC mode to get balanced sound. Other modes do not give dialog enough volume compared to background music and special effects without a lot of tuning. Syncs easily with LG TV over optical. HDMI ARC cuts out, but that might be TV issue. Could have used one more input for CD player.

Great price and nice design and well built. The performance is very good and the system sounds awesome.

The soundbar and the subwoofer are great. Good, clear sound. It was easy to set up and compatible with my new LG television. I wanted to purchase additional LG speakers to install in the ceiling. The ones they offer as part of this LG soundbar system cannot be installed in the ceiling. They can only be installed ON walls, so they are not hidden. I wanted more options for add-on speakers. Otherwise, I would have give a 5-star review.

I purchased this sound bar while LG had all their new products on sale. Once i got it home I opened it up and was underwhelmed by the size of the subwoofer. Without plugging it in I returned it and went up in the product line. I wish in hindsight I would have given it a chance, I thought that it had a lesser quality surround processer but after using the SK8Y I have a feeling I paid for Atmos effects I will never truly utilize.

Purchased this with, LG - Powered Wireless Rear Channel Speakers (Pair) - works with select LG soundbars - Black, for a new cheap home theater sound set up. The sound bar is slightly longer than I wanted but the sound is pretty good non the less. The price for the sound quality that you get I wouldn't say is fully worth it though. However, for a starting system with a sound bar, it is a good start.

Easy to set up, working in 3 minutes, we have it on for music all the time. Great product for the money.

I bought this and did'nt give it a chance. I completely over thought my decision and went back for the next step up. After hearing the capabilities of Virtual X my decision to go with the "Virtual Atmos" SK8Y was a mistake. My only reason for the exchange was the size of the subwoofer. I wish I had connected it so I wouldn't be second guessing it.

Bought on sale and got a terrific deal. The sound is great and ease of set was a snap.

Picked it up as an open box. Retails for 380 got it for 80. This thing sounds great

I’m really enjoying this purchase. The sound is awesome for the price point and even better, I caught it on sale. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is WiFi mode. It tends to turn off for some reason. It tends to happens once (sometimes twice) a session.

The soundbar sounds great!! My only problem is that the wireless add-on surround speakers are not completely wireless. Only the transmitter is wireless. Wires are still required to connect speakers to the transmitter.

Was blown away by the bass. The set up was very easy. Very happy with the 249 price.

Bought with my LG tv. Easy setup and operation. Really enjoying it.
