I learned more about soundbars and how they connect than I ever wanted to know. I bought this because I was having trouble connecting another one. This one has great sound and features. It makes you say, ‘Hey, what was that ‘. I use it in a medium size room. Pay attention to room size.

I bought the Soundbar in June by the end of August it quit working. It no longer will receive power. While it worked it sounded great and I would have given it a 4-4.5 stars. Once it stopped working is the issue. I contacted LG on 9/11 they said they would send me shipping materials and it would be repaired. 9/18 received shipping labels via email, shipping label email said if you don't have the original box you must have LG send one. I called them on 9/18 and they said a box was sent already and should arrive in the next couple days. 9/25 called back because I have not recieved the box. I was told that no box was ever ordered and they had to create a new case number and I would receive the box in 7-10 days. 10/7 called back because I have not received the box. I was told the shipping information for the box was created but the box was never shipped. He stated that he escalated it to a supervisor and a box is being expedited 2-3 shipping. 10/14 called back because I have not received the box. I was told the same exact thing as 10/7 but added that now the "supervisor" has a meeting with the distribution team to find out why it was not shipped. They are also going to send me a loaner sound system. I will hear something by the next day from the "supervisor" 10/16 called back because I have not received the box and have not received a call back from the "supervisor". I am informed that the box still was not shipped and that there is no such thing as a loaner sound system and the other guy made it up. He assures me however that he personally has emailed the shipping department to inquire why the box has not shipped and will email me a tracing number within two days... Morale of the story LG Warranty is apparently worthless, sound bar was great when it worked. But I have owned it for 4 months and 25% of my ownership has been me staring at it next to my door waiting on a box to be delivered to send it in, to then wait for it to be repaired and returned.

Audio from this sound bar sounds good. I like that it shows up as a Chromcast device when connect to my WiFi network so I can cast Spotify straight to it. For some movies I wish the volume could go a little higher though. Turning dynamic compression off seems to help with this though.

We are very pleased with our new sound bar. The sound is out standing.

i bought these speakers because my new $3500 lg tv wasn't loud enough . the new speakers make it better but i still have trouble hearing them from my kitchen. i guess i will be buying the rear speakers to supplement these speakers also. the tv should have had better speakers.
