The sound keeps going in and out up and down. It is not loud enough for the room

Never got the chance to try this one out. It was a pre-owned one and was missing the vontroller

SubWoofer intermittency. Cuts in and out no matter what preset sound you choose. Seems it’s been happening a lot with other customers too from other online sites. Will be returning item for an exchange or refund.

Avoid this. It sounds decent at low volumes--but low is as good as it gets because this soundbar DOES NOT get loud. I seriously thought I had a defective unit because the volume maxes out at such a low level. I returned this with a quickness.

Warning! Do not buy!! Purchased this to pair with my LG TV which I am very happy with, the subwoofer is blown and sound from center channel randomly stops

So disappointed!!!! It has completly froze and will not work! does not turn off, on, cant change functions either! Worst buy ever

No the best from LG in spite of DTS X. The sound bar has terrible bass. No ability to change sound fields, adjust treble or bass. Rear speakers cut out all the time.

This item seems to have a short. We noticed it in the store, but assumed it would be fine once we got it home. But no, it wasnt.

Sounded like the voices were coming from a paper towel tube and the subwoofer is very weak. Would not recommend.

Worked for 1 week then stopped. Called LG and they provided useless and inane tech support.

I was told this surround sound would do the job and it did not

ARC is not automatically detecting with LG tv even when I turn on CEC.

Out of box purchase, now I know why it was treturned.

Visited my local Best Buy to review some sound bars and this one stood out to me the most. Personally, I do have a LG smart tv so it was easy to connect and set up. The controller took me 10 mins to get use to (read the instructions people). I tried some other products that were entry level systems like this one and the issue they had was clarity. When I heard this system in store I could hear the highs and mid's really good as well as the bass. For the price of $150 this system is amazing. My advice to the other people who have bought this product and were disappointed is you should do more research. Always check the model of your TV and see what systems its more likely to be compatible with. Also please read the instructions, visit LG's website if you need help, or call LG. They have great customer service in my experience!

The quality and sound is very low for a 350 w smh.

Good sound Easy set up USB, HDMI, ARC, Optical hook ups Lack of screen makes knowing volume levels difficult. With an LG TV I can it'll show on screen. However while using bluetooth the only indication is what you hear. Got $100 off making it well worth the price.

I was worried after seeing negative reviews about this product. Arrogantly I bought it anyway because of the price and also believing I was smarter and younger than the previous reviers. So, yes the volume is insanely loud on the sound effects and impossible to hear quiet on the talking until you literally turn off DTS which is made for speakers above below behind and next to you. If you are using only the bar and subwoofer you won't hear any of the speaking, only sound effects. If you have 2 speakers high above and next to your TV and two beneath it with this sound bar in front of the TV and speakers behind and next to you you need to just hit the DTS V/X button and turn down the rear and subwoofer. It can get looud without those things cranked up.

Yesterday so that I could be amped up for the Super Bowl I went into Best Buy and I purchased. The LG wireless soundbar SK5Y it originally cost $229 but I only paid $163 because it was marked down and it was also out of the box; but to my amazement it came with everything that. I needed at first when I got home I tried to hook the HDMI not realizing that you need to turn it on first so I hooked up the portable then I got this amazing sound this is going to work just fine I love the sound and I am really Blown away with the sound woofer because the bass is off the chain.

This soundbar works really well!!! At first I wasn't sure of the sound and was about to return it, but after speaking with my son, he advised that I put the subwoofer to the right of the soundbar and in the corner! Well I did that and I'm AMAZED at the dramatic change!!!! Now I have the theater sound and love the it!! Who would have thought that simple change made all the difference!!
