The sound bar provides great sound, but when combined with the LG TV I purchased, announces every volume adjustment. It can be annoying and hopefully I can find a setting that discontinues the announcements.

At first, we were absolutely delighted with this sound bar. Great sound at a great price. But then.....it became possessed. We'd be watching one channel, and suddenly, without our touching anything, we'd have sound from a completely different channel coming through. We have contacted LG for assistance, but so far, we haven't had a lot of assistance. The emailed instructions did not work, and the live people we have talked to refuse to understand that the sound bar changes the input channel by itself. We are still hopeful that we can get it fixed or replaced though, so an update may be forthcoming!

For the most part this is a good soundbar. Nothing special. At first it would cut out, but I switched out the cheap cable it comes with and it works fine. Can probably find something cheaper with same quality.

I purchased a new LGOLED tv and the sound from the internal speaker were terrible. Couldn't hear the words,just bass and background noice. The voices were so hard to hear. This unit has great sound,I can clearly hear all the words being said and the overall sound quality is great. What a difference

This soundbar is equipped with an ARC over HDMI which allows you to stream high quality sound from your TV or other HDMI devices. This is definitely a great selling point since most soundbars in this price range do not allow this. Overall the soundbar outputs high-quality sound and thunderous base.

pros - the sound is great - bass is punchy - setup was a breeze cons - the audio cuts out after every episode of a show for some reason

I did not purchase the top of the line sound bar, but that was the point. I wanted to save money. For my needs it has a much better sound than just from the tv. Mission accomplished!

Easy set up. Huge difference in sound. Great action sounds with bass boost. Did not think it would give me such a theatrical sound. I was very impressed. Old Advents speakers and receiver are now retired.

We were having trouble hearing the TV so decided to purchase a system. So far it's been good but we are still tinkering with it to figure everything out to get the best results

The soundbar was a bit tricky to get synced with our lg tv using ARC but once setup it worked great. The sound fills the room much better than the TV speakers and sub adds some bass. It's not a WOW sound...more of a "I cant hear the TV" soundbar.

I purchased an open box that didn’t come with the remote or any cables. They were a little more than I expected but all in all this is a great sound bar for the price

Good sound bar, randomly on some apps sound doesn’t come out right, but does not appear to be a device issue. I think it’s a software issue. Sound quality is good

The LG sound bar and woofer units were very easy to set up with HDMI and optical cables. Bluetooth pairing with the sub-woofer happened in an instant and worked well with both TV and PS4 units. Also easy to pair with computers and cellphones with Bluetooth features.

The sound bar is an excellent addition to the LG TV compatibility. Also the rich sound that comes from it is amazing along with the subwoofer making that dramatic booming sound. Sounds in sync and clear. Going to buy the additional speakers later on.

this is my second sound bar, it is definitely better than the TV speaker, but does not give the surround sound effect. I would buy it again if I needed another one,

The sound is not as full as a full 2.1 system but it is great for enhancing a tv’s sound especially with games and movies. It only struggles with music
