Not a great soundbar for us

As much as we love the LG TV, we figured we would give the LG soundbar a try. We were not happy at all and ended up returning the unit. The sub kept disconnecting from the system and we felt there was not much base or substance to the sound.

Such a headache

The subwoofer is constantly cutting in and out, and the sound is not synced with the tv. The only fix I have found, is to unplug the subwoofer: that way it doesn’t cut in and out, and that has fixed the sound sync on most apps.

It then would not connect to the LGTV. It was sent back to the manufacturer to be repaired. They replaced a "port" and sent it back. It did not work when it arrived in the mail a month later. I sent it back again. It was sent back with a note that stated that no repairs were made and it was working properly. It still did not work, so I called the manufacturer. I was told to try and use a different connection instead of the HDMI ARC since they did not test the connection that I specifically noted was the problem. I informed LG that I purchased the sound bar with the TV to utilize the HDMI ARC. I mailed the sound bar back, and they said I would be receiving a refund of the purchase price since they couldn't repair the issue. The sound bar was purchased at a discount with a bundle with the LGTV. The same sound bar will be $200 more for me to purchase in store. HORRIBLRE product quality from LG with even worse customer service. That is 5 months now without a working sound bar or refund check.

Not the best to sync
