    While the audio is good, the volume is mediocre at best. It is not even as loud as the tv.

    Defective after first use

    Got this as a open box special thinking I was getting a good deal for a sound bar that I didn't need at the time. Finally fired it up a year and a couple months later and the sound cuts out after about 30 minutes of use I can turn it off turn it back on and the sound comes back but after 30 minutes it's diminished to about 40% max volume reading on Reddit this is a prevalent problem with LG sound bars and they're doing nothing about it unless it's within warranty when it sounds like a very common defect which should be recalled.

    Short Life Span

    Worked well for a year but then started to cut out on itself, which apparently is a problem for this version. Price was fair, but expected a longer life.

    Horrid sound quality for the price

    Bought this to replace a Vizio 2.1 that was around 7 years old. Thought it would be an upgrade. Plugged it in snd thought it was broken. Tried HDMI ARC and optical and with both the audio sounded tinny and horrible. Sounded like you took an old radio and added a subwoofer. Tried messing with the equalizrr to no effect. Plugged in the old soundbar and blew it out of the water. Turned right around and took it back, and got a Vizio 5.1 for not much more money. Way better.

    I’m a big fan of LG but this product, we’ve had it not even a month and the volume wasn’t even loud and we heard a weird beep and the speakers were blown

    Great until it wasn’t

    I really liked this as an entry level system, but unfortunately the right speaker suddenly stopped working. I tried optical, HDMI and Bluetooth. All did not work with only 2 months of ownership.

    Subwoofer dead on arrival

    Subwoofer would not connect to the soundbar. The light on the subwoofer would flash green when plugged in and then turn solid green. After a second it starts indefinitely flashing red. The manual is 2 pages long and basically says "turn it off and on again lol". There's also basically no info about this setup online. Tried to troubleshoot it for a couple hours and its just not worth it. The soundbar itself sounds barely any different than the built in speakers for the LG C1. Probably would sound better if the subwoofer worked but here we are.

    Very disappointing experience!

    Unit came missing ALL accessories & called for help as I did want to keep it. The return was even worse as I was bounced from department to department 5 times. When I finally spoke to someone who spoke clear English she was able to get it resolved. Still waiting on a full refund after 2 weeks. Never was able to hook it up so I cant rate its performance. SAD state of affairs at Best Buy.

    Not worth the aggrevation

    Poor experience. Was tild it would worj with the TV i bought. First try couldn’t get it to work. Returned it. Got another one. Second one would work with the TV either. Call the company to triuble shoot and they were no help. Called the TV company to troubleshoot and they couldnt. Had to return and now just using the TV speakrs instead.

    I see why they gave it away free with TV purchase. Can hardly get it to work. Can’t tell how loud it is when it works. Sub rattles and echos all the time making it basically not worth using. Not happy at all

    Not very happy with the sound bar don’t know whether it’s the sound bars problem or the installation of it. I have the geek squad coming again on Monday. The sound from the bar is not syncing with the lips on the television. I have tried to reboot my modem, but it did not help. Hopefully they’ll be able to solve the problem on Monday.

    Cheap Soundbar equals Cheap Sound

    Purchased this due to the great reviews and budget price. After using it for an hour just listening to a TV show, it was awful and sounded like a tin can. Adjusted all the settings to see if I could get some better outcome but it was awful regardless. Cannot recommend at all unless you just dont care about sound quality.

    The sound is NOT great and I thought it would be better, I'm disappointed so now I bought a receiver and I have speakers in every corner and I'm in hopes I get the correct sound.

    I figured its LG it has to sound decent , well i was wrong. The bass sucks and the voice don't travel to you like it should. If you know what i mean.

    Lg 2.1 sound bar and sub

    Don’t waste your money. Sound bar is not very loud and bass speaker is a total was. Definitely not a good deal. I’m giving mine away and getting a better one.

    I ended up returning it as the left channel was louder than the right channel. Also, the display is not perfectly centered on the bar, which is a minor annoyance.

    SOUNDBAR BRACKET TOO BUG FOR TV

    Bracket did a good job bringing sound bar up next to bottom of tv, BUT bracket extends beyond sides of tv, making it appear unprofessional.
