I bought this soundbar as a Christmas gift for my father law that watches a lot of tv. I helped him set it up and it was very easy to set up and included everything needed to help get it up and running. I have not spent an extended period of time listening to it, but the times I have been over to his house since purchasing it for him the sound quality has been very good for the price. He is not very tech savy either so he enjoys the simplicity of it because the audio change easily with whatever source he is selecting on the tv. I have not gotten any phone calls from him with technical support so I think this has worked fine for him. I am happy with the purchase overall and would recommend this for the easy setup and good sound quality for a budget product.

I like the design and sound quality. It perfectly fits under my TV. Honestly, the sound quality is much better if you use fiber optic cable, but it's still good via Bluetooth.

Great sound and easy to set up. I also ran the system through a bluetooth headset for quiet listening with no problems. I used the optical port to keep my hdmi free. Bass from sub is not over powering or obnoxious. No lag between tv and sound bar.

I have a decently sized bedroom with a large TV, and wanted to get a cheap but nice soundbar to complement it. This does the trick nicely! Some of the frequencies (the mid and high range) sound a tad muddled, so it will require manual equalizing for your own setup. Once that was done, I've been happy with it since! Setup is super easy, I got it done in a matter of minutes after opening the box. If you're debating between the version with the subwoofer and the one without, spring for the one with. It helps the entire thing sound MUCH better, and the bass sounds punchy and defined. It can also get really, REALLY loud if you're not careful. I played some old school dubstep (Burial's second album, Untrue) through it and I could physically feel the air moving when I put my hand up to it. It also handles rock music well (tested with Souvlaki by Slowdive), bass guitar helps round out the bottom end without shaking the walls. Overall, you get what you pay for. It's not the best, and I've heard and owned speakers that have sounded better, but for the price you can't go wrong. Having said that, however, I paid $150 on Labor Day for it. For that price I'm thrilled, but if I got it at the listed price of $280 I might be singing a different tune. If I were you, I'd wait for a sale and get it when it's closer to at most $200.

Easy to set up, good sound, and definitely the right price for what I needed. I recommend if you need a boost in sound from mid to small TV in a small space. Deep rich bass, clear highs and mids, and decent options for sound modes.

Excellent sound for a relatively small and compact sound bar. The bass is very strong without being overwhelming. No static or feedback at all. Definitely worth the money and excellent price point.

AWESOME SOUNDBAR FOR AN AMAZING PRIZE..!!!! I purchased and attached it to my SAMSUNG TV and it works perfect. Sound modes are good, Bass is very powerful. DTS X virtually surrounds the room and you can feel presence of immersing sounds across your ears. Bass is so powerful that only after 2 days the person living above my apartment started banging the roof to indicate me that he is feeling the bass very heavily, since then I only play the bar during day time when he is out for his office :) So if you got a detached house then you can play it to its full potential and enjoy the great sound.

This is probably an obvious bad use case, but we have this soundbar connected to a TV on our covered deck. When we are sitting in our hot tub watching something this soundbar sometimes isn't quite loud enough. For all other uses it is perfectly fine and the subwoofer adds a lot to the sound that I didn't have before. Previously I had an old receiver with some bookshelf speakers for this setup, and they were not quite up to the task either. Overall this soundbar was an improvement. It is the first one I've ever owned and now I have a better idea on their limitations. As far as features, I appreciated the fact that I didn't have to do much setup at all and the included remote is only needed if I want to change sound options. The volume control for the TV itself changes volume on the soundbar. This may be how all soundbars work but I've never owned one before.

Great sound bar, super easy setup, sub woofer paired instantly, works with tv remote control, worth the upgrade from tv speakers, gives nice full sound, perfect for our outside lanai listening to music around the pool. Great price just a ++ addition.

We bought this during the Christmas sale at a great price. When I saw it I thought it was cheap enough for an LG sound bar that it was hard to pass up. We have a 75 inch Sony Bravia that has a good sound system but not the best. I thought this sound bar would be a great addition. Setting up wasn't too bad and the Sony seemed to accept the new system and it made a great difference in the sound quality. The only drawback is that when you turn the TV on it takes it a while to switch over to the external speakers and sometimes we have to restart the process. We have it set up on HDMI ARC on the Sony and every once in a while it will try to connect as Optical and you have to retry to get it to connect to ARC. Could be a compatibility issue with the Sony Bravia, I don't know, but it can be a pain sometimes. Maybe there will be a Sony update to help in the future. Overall we are satisfied with the sound quality for and entry system as this one is.

The soundbar is okay without the subwoofer but it sounds really good once you use the subwoofer and change the EQ. It makes movies come to life and works directly with my tv. I only had to connect it once.

Sounds great for the money. Easy set up. Comes with brackets if you would want to mount the sound bar to the wall. Love the fact that the subwoofer is wireless.

Enjoying the LG sound bar with subwoofer. Replaced my old Insigna sound bar and the sound quality is so much better. Bought this on sale and is well worth the price. Regular price was $279.99, paid $119.99. Easy to set up and had no issues with wireless subwoofer connecting. Happy with purchase so far.

We are very happy with this sound bar. It tremendously improved the quality of the sound from our Samsung The Frame TV. The bass and treble are adjustable. There is also a bass booster box. The speaker is blue tooth compatible.

This item was on sale and i needed a little more sound for my tv to get more theater sound quality. The bar itself is ok. Not as loud as I'd hoped, but it delivers good bass with the subwoofer. The setup was easy and synced quickly through blutooth.
