The soundbar sounds really great. Hook-up is extremely easy, connect either the digital wire or a 3.5mm plug wire and plug in the bar and the woofer into a wall outlet. I would give it 5 stars but it does have a small annoyance. If you use the digital audio wire, you have to turn the TV sound all the way down and use the soundbar remote to control the volume. That requires having two remotes at your disposal and the soundbar's remote feels cheap - not sure how long it will last. To get around this, I used the 3.5mm plug cord plugged into the headphone jacks of the TV. With this setup, the same remote I use to control the TV with, will also control the volume. The downside to this method is that the soundbar automatically turns itself off after a couple of hours because it doesn't think it is in use. So we can be sitting there watching a movie and the soundbar turns itself off and someone needs to grab it's remote to turn it back on. My daughter has tested the Bluetooth set-up using her IPhone and tells me it sounds really good. I have the soundbar hooked up to a Insignia (non-smart) TV and use a Comcast Xfinity X1 remote control.

Our 60 inch flat screen does not get as loud as we want. got these as a Christmas gift for my mom, hooked them up in under 5 mins. when she got home from work she was blown away by the sound and the the bass. I will say that the more expensive ones do sound much louder and better, but for the price these are well worth it.

My husband purchased this, wanting a little something more when watching movies. He previously had a whole entire sound system and was looking for something similar. He came across this and decided to give it a try. It is awesome. It definitely gives us the movie theater experience for a fraction of the price. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants that extra something without looking to spend a lot.

So I got this for $129.99 I expected low end quality. This is the best sound bar I have heard. Make sure you push the CINEMA button on the remote to get the full sound. I had bose before I feel this sounds better. I was very shocked. I also purchased another one for my main room.

Great price! Great sound! I was in search of a sound bar but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. Finding this one on sale was perfect timing.

First bought the Tv without a sound bar and the sound was decent but I went back in the store and heard one playing with a sound bar and it was like night and day. Plus I got lucky and the Tv I bought the sound bar of the same brand as the Tv was on a 50% sale so I won again.

I am really pleased with the sound that emits from the sound bar as attached to my Samsung TV. My only issue is that initially I had no problems attaching to my tablet via bluetooth. Now, I am no longer able to attach to the tablet. Nothing I have tried so far has corrected the issue.

This is a good piece of equipment. Very easy to hook up with the tv. Great sound overall but lacking in the bass dept. It could use the capability to handle the lower bass notes. Again though very solid overall especially if you are on a budget and not looking to break the bank.

1) Sound Bar - amazing sound and it perfectly fit my 48" TV, awesome design and a small display to show the sound source and easy reach button when the remote is not reachable. 2) Subwoofer - i loved as it is wireless, no need to worry about putting wire across my living room. Bass is really good for a normal living room. We can also adjust the bass volume using the remote Overall it is a wonderful product and i brought it as a open box and it came without any damage, buy it if you are looking for a decent sound. Only issue i faced is it was delivered to me without remote and i have to order it for $14 extra, this was not mentioned anywhere while purchasing and i felt bad that Best Buy dosen't care about this. Have to rethink about ordering online in Best buy again. Overall wonderful product, loved to use and defiantly recommend to my friend, but have to think to recommend Best Buy to buy...

This purchase was an automatic buy after I had gotten an older model LG television with the speakers on the bottom of the set. The set I got this sound bar for is a much better set which makes the quality of the unit an extraordinary buy. The sound is incredible!

This soundbar works exactly as advertised. Setup could not have been easier. I've been using it about a month now and have never had any issue with the sub woofer losing it's wireless connection as other reviewers had stated. The bass response is fantastic. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the tweeters on the sound bar sound just a bit tinny to my ears. Not a big issue to be sure, but the real audiophile might not like it. For me it's a good value and has greatly improved the audio experience from my LG TV whose audio performance in the large room it's in was sub-standard to say the least. I've also used this unit extensively to stream music via Bluetooth. In our family we've easily connected 2 iPhones, an older iPad, and a Samsung Galaxy phone. All connected effortlessly. We've put our 'other highly rated brand' speaker away and use this system all the time now. It's really been great for us on this front.

Got this during black Friday and it was a great deal. The sound is really nice and the sub-woofer is excellent. Easy set up.

I purchased this Soundbar after Black Friday when it was on sale. Overall, this is a decent soundbar for the price. The sound quality is pretty good, and connection was fairly easy. I only wish you could connect this soundbar to your tv with a HDMI cable.

The sound bar is an outstanding value. The lg sound bar gives the best sound. I got tge sound bar on sale which made the purchase even better. I would definitely recommend this sound bar to any one wanting the best sound out of their equipment.

This sound bar works great in our medium-sized living room, filling the room with decent sound. I put it in cinema mode when watching TV or movies, for the fullest sound. If you are looking for true surround sound, obviously you'll want to find something else. But, for nice stereo sound and a subwoofer, this does the job nicely. We really enjoy connecting with our smart phones to the sound bar and playing music. Volume control from the phone pairs pretty well with the sound bar. I do find that you can sometimes get louder volume by using the sound bar's volume buttons, or remote, to turn up the volume, even if my Samsung Galaxy phone volume is maxed.

Sound is good, price was good. LG has better products, but I was going for the price not the quality.

I guess as sound bars go, that it's ok. Didn't like the fact that it doesn't transmit sound from all devices hooked into the TV thru the optical connection. Had to utilize a mini stereo/RCA jack conversion cable to gain access to all devices. The sound is fine and I do like the various listening modes but sound sometimes tends to shut off and I have to restart it. Plus, the "auto on" feature doesn't really work as it should. I really don't know much about soundbars as this is the 1st one I've ever had - would have rather had a 2.1 dolby digital home entertainment center w/ powered subwoofer had I known the limitations. But for the money I guess it's ok since I only use it in the bedroom.

This is my second LG Sound Bar. I have one on the LG TV in my study and it works so well I bought the second one to put with the TV in my shop. Super sound and very easy to set up.

If you’re looking to simply get some more volume to your overall sound then this is a good sound bar. This does get the job done when it comes to enhancing your overall audio experience,however, if you really want something that blows you away and can really fill the room when you might have a bigger crowd of people then this is just an OK sound bar. I like to watch my sports , like boxing, sometimes while hosting a party and I will say that I found myself reaching the maximum volume rather quickly and I was dissapointed while still hoping for more. The set up is extremely easy and so is the use of the sound bar. So overall I give it 4 stars because the ceiling of this product I felt was rather low, however I would say that as an entry level soundbar it can deserve 5 stars.
