I always consult Consumer Reports before an appliance purchase and this LG microwave was rated highly by CR. I agree. I installed this myself replacing a Kenmore microwave that blew a diode. The wifi works, I get a little popup message on my computer monitor announcing the "meal" has completed warming. I am not sure wifi messages from my microwave will change my life much, but it is OK.

The microwave itself looks very nice and the features and functions seem well thought out. However, before ever using it, we noticed something concerning with the interior. We have wiped the inside of the microwave six separate times using only water, and also steam-cleaned the interior with water. Each time, tiny crystal-like particles continue to come off onto the cloth. Because of this repeated result, we believe the interior coating itself may be shedding. Out of caution, we have not used the microwave at all, as we do not feel comfortable heating food in an appliance where material appears to be coming off the interior surface. This is especially concerning given that this is a food-contact environment. We contacted LG about this issue over five weeks ago and have yet to receive a resolution or clear explanation of what the material is or whether this is normal or safe. Given the potential health implications, the lack of response has been disappointing. Also the door is slight miss aligned We wanted to like this microwave, but until this concern is addressed, we cannot recommend it.

I am very pleased with our purchase of this LG-2.1 cu. ft. over-the-range microwave. Aside from the beautifully clean look, its functions are easily used, even though I'm a senior and not a particularly techy person. There's a 30 second button for a quick-heat, plus if you want to heat for any exact # of minutes you just need to push that number. for more exacting detailed time you simply push "cook time" and the exact amount of time you might want (ie: 2:18 for 2 minutes and 18 seconds). The interior is nice and spacey, but the light could have been a little brighter. All things said, I love it. Best Buy delivery was within the window of the time frame I was given and the delivery men were courteous, professional and cooperative. Very pleased overall with the choice of store and product.

Powerful , extenda vent works great, and paired easily with lg stove

Nice microwave oven. Works well, heats food evenly and the signal is not as annoying as my last micro. Multiple features and wi-fi are appreciated. Although some feel the interior is too dark, I do not find that to be an issue.

This microwave is very fast in heating and also has powerful exhaust. Excellent product from LG

Really seems to operate quite well with a very effective exhaust fan systemic. Hopefully it will continue to please us as we've only had it a couple of months.

Great overall. Wish it had a back light for the bottons cause they can be hard to see at times. But everyhing else is good
