It's a basic fridge. No bells or whistles. Gets the job done. Ice crystals do form on items in the freezer. Not sure why.

TRASH. Slightly less than a year over the purchase, and the freezer is already freezing over, and the fridge not cooling. Geek Squad Protection takes 10 days to come out, and can guarantee it'll take longer to get parts.

The LG brand is synonymous with quality and this refrigerator is replacing the LG refrigerator we used for 15 years! Notable: Very good storage areas.

I was very dismayed to receive a broken refrigerator. I knew something was up when it emitted no cold air at all after being plugged in for a few hours, to the point where I had to throw half my food away. The extreme situation made it difficult for me to believe the explanations of LG technicians who claimed that the refrigerator had to stabilize first. Thankfully, Best Buy sent a technician who diagnosed the problem immediately as a result of a broken compressor.
What’s really funny is how the replacement LG refrigerator I got had the same problem of no cold air because of a broken compressor. The same technician returned and said that, in his experience, he had never witnessed the same problem happen to the same person twice in a row. I am grateful that the third refrigerator, a Whirlpool model, worked right after it was plugged in.
I want to praise Chicago customer agent Yvette Bowling for her professionalism. She went out of her way to quickly find new models and arrange for delivery. She and the technician quickly remedied the conundrum.
I am happy that Best Buy was able to solve everything, but I will not go with LG refrigerators ever again.

The fridge was okay, but the delivery was troublesome. The first time around, the delivery person said the fridge was hit on the back (??) therefore he would not suggest us to take the delivery. If it is banged up, why would you take it out from the warehouse for delivery on that day anyways? Then the next time, the fridge came in, but he did not switch the door, even though we paid for it. On the third time, it was all done, but I would give 1 star overall for the delivery experience.

It's a refrigerator. It is quiet enough. Nothing special about this refrigerator. I'm downrating because it is missing a bottom third door bin. I mean I would have found a use for even a smaller bin but LG decided to get rid of it.

This was purchased April 2023. Two years and 2 months after purchase, the drip line in refrigerator (not the freezer -that is not hooked up) is leaking on to the top shelf, not running into the drip line that goes to the pan. The warranty is 2 years. If I win the $400 gift card for this review, I guess I'll apply it to a different brand refrigerator.
