    Worked well for 2.5 years but not now

    Fridge worked fairly well, seems like it struggled to keep things cold but to be fair it is in our insulated garage. The compressor is now having problems 2.5 years after purchasing it and it is not covered by warranty.

    BestBuy charges to change door side even w/Install

    The star isn't for the product itself, which I haven't had long enough to give a fair assessment. It's about Best Buy wanting an additional charge to change the direction of the doors. I've purchased fridges from some other stores and as part of the installation, they would change the doors if they didn't fit the area. Best Buy wants to charge an ADDITIONAL $69 (or maybe it was $79) just to change the doors, even though I paid for both installation and haul away. This should be standard for any fridge installation, and it doesn't require any additional parts. Additionally, Best Buy doesn't even offer the option online to request it as a paid option, so you won't know that it's not included.

    I bought this last year in June and it has been working but now all of a sudden the bottom half of the refrigerator just doesn’t cool anymore but the top Half does it’s sooo weird.

    This was a present for my Son and he just got it hooked up today. Your guys could not find the shut off valve plus they said they did not have instructions to install the frig. Oh well Hopefully we have no problems going forward

    This fridge is definitely an upgrade from my last one. I wish I this had more compartments for things like butter, meats or cheese. Another flaw is that it leaves finger prints and not easy to clean off.

    Freezer doesnt freeze solid unless on the highest setting. The controls for both freezer and refrigerator are in a bad location, they get blocked by stored foods

    Too small, horrible Wait time for the WRONG part for the ice maker. We were told that it was the right part it was not. Had to eventually have them pull out the same model that was there to show them it was the wrong part. Still waiting for the correct part over a month later

    Would of liked more options for arrangement of shelves and storage compartments. Would of been nice to include the ice maker feature as standard instead an option. Nice for the price.

    Worse product ever, the store only give you 15 days of guarantee, they don't care anything. I got this item new and 28 days after stop working my refrigerator. LG it going to be in charge since is a manufacturer problem but it take ages to get fixed. Is sad when you have a newborn and kids the store should be at least give a better guaranty to their costumer and don't put people to be dialing with this such a long period of time.

    Buy a better refrigerator

    It is bare bones. And you can’t buy the accessories for a cheese drawer or extra door rack. And the curve in the freezer door causes us to bump our head a lot! I do not recommend. As far as cooling, I’m never sure if it’s too cold or too warm. I expect that of our old refrigerator -the fluctuation by not a new one. Sigh.

    Refrigerator door opens in wrong direction. Installer said I should have advised Best Buy of that when ordering but there were no questions about the door opening direction so I incorrectly assumed the installer would correct he door opening. Installer advised he did not do that.

    We had 2 LG fridges in our house, one the house came with and this one we bought. The other was a bigger fridge with French doors that we replaced this year because the freezer died. This one is being replaced very soon because the refrigerator died. I've had many fridges over the years but never 1 brand with 2 issues in the same year. I won't be buying an LG fridge ever again.

    Refrigerator is constantly sending out freezer fan code errors, even after replacing PCB board, fan motor, and the controller thermocouples. Seems pretty wild that a fridge thats less than 2 years old is having these constant problems. Of course warranties are only so long, so to have a tech diagnose the problem would cost about as much as the fridge is worth.
