Perfect Fit For Our Needs

This LG refrigerator fit our counter depth location and needs perfectly. The door-in-door is ideal for coffee creamer and other quick access items, the shelves cleverly adjust, the drawer is perfect for drinks, or could be used for snacks, and my favorite part is the craft ice maker, very cool.
Drawbacks might be that the regular in-the-door ice maker doesn’t hold a lot of ice, so for entertaining or a thirsty bunch, this may not be the model for you. It also tends to spit ice a little far and wide for a smallish glass, but it is fine for larger cups. Counter depth fits our kitchen, but the extra space of a full depth would be nice.
This unit has WiFi connectivity, which is kind of interesting, but I don’t think it really accomplishes a lot. The water filter is easy to access and change. Very nice looking fridge, and the doors/drawers operate smoothly. I have only had this for about 2 months, but would definitely recommend it if the ice maker capacity and size meets your needs. The craft ice feature undoubtedly adds cost, but it is worth it for me.

LG french door refrigerator

I love my new French door refrigerator! I was worried it would not have enough room but it just takes a little adjustment as I have never had a French door refrigerator before.
I love the door in door and we use the middle drawer as our beverage center for can and bottled drinks on one side and cold meat section on the other instead of using as additional freezer space. We have a separate stand alone freezer so didn't need the extra freezer space.
We love the craft ice in addition to the regular ice maker. Yes you don't get many at a time but I love the huge cubes so you drink doesn't get watered down so far. I just keep making them and bagging them so I have a good supply on hand.
I like the water and ice dispenser in the door and you can do measured amounts of water but I have not really used that feature much yet. I think once summer comes and I am mixing iced tea it will come in handy.
Everything works great and I am glad I purchased this item.

We are so thrilled with our selection of this LG with all its wonderful features.
We love having the middle drawer for our daily snacks; yogurt, cheeses, puddings and more. If we ever need some additional freezer space we can change it to freeze. Refrigerated drawer to freezer drawer and back and forth as necessary.
Love the door on the door where we can easily get drinks out without letting all the cold air out.
Last, but not least, is the craft ice it makes! Very cool!!!! Dogs like it also!
Now, if it’s keeps up its great performance for years to come; it will be our favorite of all time.
NO STRANGE NOISES (biggest complaint with previous refrigerator’s). And no konking out before it’s lived a long life!

This is the coolest (pun intented) fridge! Cool globe ice cubes (we dubbed them fridge eggs), love the dual drawer, plenty of freezer storage, the door in door is absolutely amazing, plenty of space and even shelves that have close so you have room for surprise tall items, app that tells you the health of the fridge and if any filters need to be changed, like it is the best thing ever and I guess that makes me officially old now.

Really pleased with our purchase overall. I didn't realize how much we would enjoy the dual ice makers but it is very handy. This is partially because the in-doir ice maker doesn't have a very high capacity and our household can empty it pretty fast on a weekend. The flexibility of the pullout drawer with temp control is a great feature too. We like the metallic finish on the shelves. It looks so much nicer than white plastic.

This LG refrigerator looks great in my kitchen. The door in door feature is really nice. And the flex drawer has easy access and the option to change to refrigeration or freezer is great. The craft ice is a fun feature, the round ice is fantastic. The storage in the door is very limited however.

We have only had this refrigerator for one week, but are happy with it thus far. High points...it produces a good amount of ice, it runs quietly, and it looks attractive. Low points...the interior metal damage is easily and since it is a counter depth fridge, it is somewhat limited on space. Hopefully this fridge will function wonderfully for a long time.

Our prior refrige started to fail. We bought this French (5-)door LG. It's hard to imagine how we could exist without the features of this product. Simple things like getting water, My 20oz water bottle easily fits underneath the water/ ice dispenser without having to put it at an angle (and spill) to fill. The middle drawer that we use for snacks is large enough so we can see all the different cheeses, and lunch meet at a glance and it has easy to adjust temperatures for meats or to use as a wine chiller. The door-in-a-door makes it quick to open and get my morning coffee creamer and butter without having to open the entire refrigerator. And there are two ice makers, one in the door and one in the freezer that makes unique golf-size crystal-clear ice balls. The freezer is huge. This is a great value and an excellent product.

Debated over door-in-door feature - but it's awesome! We use it all the time, and so will you. Very easy to clean and organize inside and very quiet. Gotta love those craft ice cubes for cocktails :) Fridge looks great next to GE Profile double-oven. This one is a GREAT choice!

I've only had the fridge for a short time, but so far its been great. The Craft Ice is a big his. It's also nice to have 2 different ice makers. It takes a little time getting used to the extra door (for frequently used items), but it's very handy to have.

Love the door in a door and deli/meat drawer features. The shorter counter depth took a little getting used to but it's nice that it doesn't stick out like my old refrigerator.

Love the new refrigerator, it fit perfectly. The movers were very good and informed of the outside care. I love the door in door feature and the Full convert drawer. The ice makers are making ice, but it did take a full 48 hours to get to temperature.

Downsized to counter depth after 25 years, I lost quite a bit of cu feet but the exchange of size was well worth it with this LG. I had a bit of adjustment with the Space, shelf height, freezer size but everything is good now, love the water dispeser area, no small catch that fills with water, no sloppy spillage, ice good size plusextra ice maker in freezer it dispenses golf ball size cubes, not necessary, a novelty. The double door was what sold me, I love the fact that I can open a small area for immediate items in door without exposing the refrigerator to lose all cold air and it's also esily accessible if you open full door. The middle drawer can be converted to a full freezer if you wish from a delu/beverage drawer.

If you want a beautiful fridge, this is it. Does it have as much space as your fridge that you are replacing? No. Did we have to purchase an additional standalone freezer? Yes. Is it really shallow on the inside? Yes. If you have more than three people getting ice every day, be prepared to be ice-rationing for the foreseeable future. We keep it on ice plus 24 hours a day. We have craft ice pumping out 6 balls a day. Still we run out almost every day. Outside of all that, the tech is nice, the drawers are more convenient than the last fridge, and it is a really good looking fridge. I would recommend if you have a household of less than 4 and already have a garage fridge or freezer. I think you would be satisfied.

I have mixed feelings about the refrigerator. I like the layout of drawers and shelves. I like the craft ice. The left side door has a edge that is supposed to catch in a groove and flip a piece out so the two doors seal together. It doesn’t always catch so there is a gap between the doors when they’re closed. The water and ice taste like plastic. I have changed the filter and followed the directions for processing water to clear this problem four times. The first glasses of glasses of water every time we get water still taste like plastic. It’s been 3 weeks.

Beautiful appliance, works great! Although I would not have opted to include craft ice, it is not an option to leave out and I don't mind it. However, it does take up precious freezer real estate. Would not recommend French doors if the fridge is against a wall on either side because you can not fully open the door without additional clearance. Note that the counter depth will still stick out from a standard depth counter, although not nearly as far as standard depth. Get the standard depth if you can because 22.5 cu. ft. is less than you think. The Door-In-Door and Convertible Drawer are awesome!

I love how versatile this fridge is. I can convert I've of the drawers for extra freezer space or just a snack drawer when I finish my frozen veggies. Although it is counter depth, the shape of it doesn't use the full space to use potential. I would have like to use the fridge containers for better organization but unfortunately I can only use one size. Other than that it is a great fridge and we are in love with the craft ice.
