Certainly did research before my purchase but not that much. Knew the quality of LG appliances and had looked at this model previously. Really intended to buy the door-within-door, but it turns out, don't really need that model. I LOVE the middle drawer--have filled it with beverages, chilled glasses, and cheese. Took some getting used to the freezer drawer (previously used a side-by-side appliance) but it has worked fine. Also like the various vegetable/fruit bins. All in all, very satisfied with my purchase.

This French Door refrigerator is great. It is very quiet and holds a lot of food for being counter depth. We love the third door with separate temperature settings. Great for beverages, cold cuts and cheese.

We have had this unit for about a month. It works really well and is very attractive inside and out. We replaced a two door refrigerator of the same size but this one seems to have much more usable space by far. It is the quietest refrigerator we have ever owned.

Love the black stainless. Fingerprints don't show up and easy to clean. Refrigerator side is great with a better layout than our last one. Not a lot of storage ice. The freezer section isn't as nice as my side by side. I quess it's all about give and take. Depends on what features are most important to you.

This fridge is wonderful. Lots of room and the freezer drawers make it easy to access the things you use often. It's quiet and works great. The only thing I would change is a damper on the door with the ice machine. It's heavy, so it can slam shut if you're not careful. I don't know why they don't put in a slow shut device like on the cabinets. Otherwise, I like it a lot. Unfortunately, the matching appliances aren't as great. :(

I love that it makes everything on every shelf visible and easily accessible. I bought this after reading reviews online. I went to the store and found that you had this exact model on display with the black stainless finish. I tested for fingerprints (none), tested the stability of the on/door shelves to assure they didn't drop to the floor if kids slam the door - not an issue. I also tested the freezer space to see if a frozen pizza would fit - and it does....important criteria for a family who has not had a pizza in their freezer for 13 years as pizza won't fit in a traditional french door when the freezer is on one side. I particularly like the middle drawer for drinks (soda, capri sun and wine). Love this shiny new toy in my kitchen!

I love the look of this refrigerator. It also flits perfectly into our kitchen without sticking too far out. Having the drawer above the freezer is the perfect space for canned drinks etc. We have only had it less then a month so it's hard to rate the operational components at this point. Just a few little things the compartment at the top inside of the right door is perfect for butter etc does not open easily when your putting things away. Another downside the 3 fruit and veggie drawers are so narrow they do not fit large produce like celery. It would be been better to have 2 bigger drawers than 3 smaller. We also lost some cubic space by going with the counter depth. Didn't think it would matter but right now with a family of 4-5 it's too small

Refrigerator is very nice looking. Lighting led lighting illuminates everything. Ice quantity production in door is very limited. Needs extra storage for ice. Would give 5 stars for customer service and on time delivery from Best Buy.

Like the new Black Stainless. Different to adjust to the new layout of the fridge. Freezer space is smaller than I thought it would be however it is true that you typically use the fridge portion far more often than the freezer. Controls are easy to use. Ice maker is quiet and doesn't take too much space. Over all very satisfied and glad I made the change.

LG delivers with this design... convenient bottom freezer with lots of space, love love love the middle drawer, and the brightness of the lights is perfect! ... very handsome... elevated the look of my kitchen. I've had for two years now and no complaints... keeps vegetables very nice for extended periods of time (in my opinion)... I would buy this one again.

My wife and I are (sheepishly) PROUD about our beautiful and "cool" new LG refrigerator ! I researched the heck out of many, many refrigerators (style, features, brands, quietness, convenience, color options, etc., etc.) We confidently chose LG, counter-depth (wife priority), black stainless (my choice- very cool). I could go on and on but LG had many attractive sale points- allegedly thee quietest, owner and professional top reviews, really smooth but "tight"/ non-rattle drawers, etc. BUT a weird quirk on my part was the final sale point, and virtually nobody talked about THIS very best factor ! I personally really dislike 99% of the brands for the size/shape of their ice cubes ! Those half moon shaped cubes fit "obnoxiously-perfect" in the bottom of a typical glass, forming a dam. NOT these LG cubes which are exactly the same half-moon shape BUT less than half the size. My wife says they are "cute." Love it ! I cannot say enough about the EXCELLENT service Best Buy gave us, from showroom floor advice, choice of models, to free delivery. And the delivery guys were super ! Very, very careful on our old oak doorways. To get the frig in the house, they had to take off its doors ! No problem; no complaints. Kept smiles on their faces and took everything in stride. I am very pleased from A to Z. Highly recommend our "4-door French LG" to all. Got a great sale from BB, and FREE delivery.

So far I have no complaints. Very spacious. Love that it is fingerprint resistant.

The center drawer was the deal maker for our new refrigerator. Very handy for frequently used items. The adjustable shelves make customizing the storage capability easy and convenient. The water dispenser and ice maker are easy to use and the ice maker refills quickly. The freezer has sufficient capacity for our needs.

I am very happy with this refrigerator/freezer design. My old refrig was more than 20 years old. So you can imagine how far out of date my thinking was about refrigerators. I think this one is worth every dollar I paid and then some.

Good enough storage for a counter depth refrigerator

I had thought long and hard before giving up my side by side fridge for a counter-depth one. I had concerns that it would not be large enough to keep enough food stocked for my ever ravenous teenage son's appetite. My concerns were needless. We are a few weeks in and find we still have room!

We love our fridge and it is as great as all of the reviews stated. The one deficiency in the reviews which we have found to be true, is the ice maker could be better.

Controls are conveniently placed and easy to follow. Love the French doors and separate freezer drawers specially top one that has temperature selection for different purposes.

I am able to it everything in this refrigerator! It also fits nicely into the space! Love it!!
