Not thrilled. Icemaker very loud. Food freezes in fridge

I hope the replacement refrigerator will be a lot better.

Thank goodness for the warranty! We purchased model LDC22720ST about 16 months ago and it turned out to be a lemon. This model, our replacement is more spacious and actually lets you silence the open door alarm. It seems to have better storage features as well. Contrary to what I have read in other reviews, the ice maker is not loud , nor is the unit itself. Time will tell if this model will hold up longer than the previous. We did have to purchase another warranty, but it was only 139.99 for 5 years. This cost was half of our previous warranty. I must say Best Buy did not give us any hassle about replacing our product and I really appreciate it!

I just got this fridge so I cannot comment yet on how durable or long-lasting it is. I can say that it is extremely quiet, but we have not connected the ice maker yet so it is quiet functioning without the ice maker working just yet. The LED light inside is great and was one of the reasons I decided to get this particular LG fridge. The spacing inside the fridge is great and the freezer space is good too. The handle is reversible which means that no matter which side you put it on, the other side will have two grey round plastic circles where the handles would have been. Why can't they just make a left hinge and a right hinge fridge? The bestbuy delivery guys were good and took the door off of it in order to fit it through our narrow apartment door. Be warned that when you purchase appliances from bestbuy and indicate in the notes section the time frame you'd like it to be delivered, it will be ignored and they will schedule the delivery for when it suits them. I specifically indicated that delivery is to be scheduled 9-5 pm because that's when my coop permits deliveries, instead they scheduled it for 7:30 a.m. and refused to change it when I asked them to and I had major problems in my building for having such an early delivery.

We looked at tons of fridges. We couldn't find one we liked. But this one is perfect. It is simple and easy to use. It has great compartments. Food stays very cold. It's also quiet. And it's a pretty white color. Had it for a while now and couldn't be happier.

This is my 4th purchase of an LG product (from best buy) and have found them to bre very reliable. We made allthese purchases at the Muskegon Mi store. Salesperson Caroline, the store manager and the delivery guys went above and beyond to help us with a order issue. They made certain I was not left without arefridgerator while waiting forthe right one to come Iin. I love the fridge, it makes great use of space, has a large deli drawer and doesn't have a bunch of extra stuff that just wastes space and comes in white.

I am so excited about my new LG bottom freezer refrigerator. It is so much more convenient for older folks and there is so much more room inside that I thought when I looked at it at the store. I love that everything on the top is eye level, easy to see and no bending to reach crisper trays! Love, love, love.

Bough this fridge when the old one stopped working. It is stylish without compromising functionality or space. The freezer drawer is very practical. Love it.

Bought this unit at Best Buy. Had this refrigerator for 17 months and then it quit cooling. The sealed system went out. LG had two authorized service centers in our region but neither would service the refrigerator. LG then told us to find our own service person, then had authorization issues. After diagnosis, determined the compressor in the sealed system had failed. Took three weeks to get parts. Took almost three months from time of failure to get it fixed.

Total garbage. Failed after 14 months. Labor alone to replace is $500. Never buying LG again. Reviews at Best Buy are not representative--check the rest of the web, as I should have, before buying one (and then don't ever buy an LG fridge).
