Newly constructed home. We took delivery of our NEW LG refrigerator Mld# LTCS24226S, on July 27th, 2019, as I wanted nice looking and good refrigerator for the garage. That night in our garage our GFCI's started to trip. I called the electrician, he asked me to plug it in another outlet. I did, yet another GFCI tripped outlet, and another, and another. I had LG come to my house TWICE perform tests on the refrigerator. They said all tests PASSED. One LG Rep stated to my wife, "I'll do everything in my power to tell LG there's nothing wrong with this refrigerator. I went round and round with LG. I even had my builder get on the phone to speak to LG. The electrician came to the house, ran tests on all GFCI circuits - PASSED, which I knew, because the only time the GFCI's would trip, was when the compressor in the refrigerator came on. We finally had enough. On 9/21/19 my wife and I went to see our sales women, Ruby, at Best Buy, she listened, then asked us if we'd like to replace it with another refrigerator other than a LG. I was shocked, and we said YES. So we now have a brand new Whirlpool refrigerator, which we should have purchased in the first place. BEST BUY is GREAT!! No wonder we continue to go back to Best Buy over and over again!! Thank you Best Buy, and thank you Ruby!!!

Works good, great size and storage enough food for my size of family.

I'm a single guy with my own place and honestly this is a lot more than what I need but I couldn't pass this up. It's plain from the outside but once you open the doors the LED lights grab your attention. Looks really fancy from the inside. At first it's hard to get use to not having handles but I learned to like not having them actually. Definitely makes my kitchen stand out and look nicer

I bought this to replace an older bottom drawer refrigerator that: -- was a bit hard on my aching back using the freezer, and -- developed a slow leak from the bottom left corner. I am glad I made the purchase!! This refrigerator at almost 24 cubit feet has a lot of room in both compartments. Storing and retrieving food is more convenient for me, It runs very quietly, It did take a few hours for the refrigerator compartment to come to a good "chill" temperature, but that is pointed out in the user manual. Once the optimum temperature was reached, it stayed there. I set the temperature level one higher than the default. The freezer compartment dropped to the optimum temperature rather quickly. The black stainless steel door is easy to clean as advertised -- why I chose this over regular stainless steel. The door will not hold a magnet, but the sides will. I knew that going in. The left side of my refrigerator is in an open area and accessible so that's where the calendar resides now. The ice maker works fine and makes nice large ice cubes. Ice dropping and water resupply make a little noise, but less than other refrigerators I have owned. I have noticed that negative reviews basically complained about temperature, lack of magnetic door, or ice maker noise. I have no issues with temperature, know about the door, and can't understand the noise issue since other refrigerators are much louder. Only time will tell about reliability.

This refrigerator is absolutely cavernous, which is exactly what I was looking for. It keeps things cold, and I like the ice maker. One of the trays on the door of the fridge is big enough to hold a gallon of milk, and the vegetable crisper drawers are large enough to hold a whole grocery bag full of produce at once. My leafy greens have held up well there, too. I love how well lit the fridge and freezer are, and I like that it beeps pleasantly when the door is open too long so my kids shut the door instead of standing there staring at the contents. The quirks: -The front is not magnetic, but the sides are. -The door is a bit low to the floor so occasionally when it swings open or shut it jams into my foot. This hasn't happened to my partner though, and now I'm aware of it and have adjusted. -The door occasionally rattles a bit (quietly), but generally if I give it a good push and hold it for a second it will stop. It's quiet, so I only hear it if I'm right next to the fridge. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the value and quality for the price of the fridge, and even happier with Best Buy's fantastic delivery service. They kept me informed of timing and the folks who delivered it went above and beyond to make sure the delivery and installation went smoothly.

This LG refrigerator was the only stainless model that fit the dimensions of my current space. I was very concerned about the height as my space is 68.25 and the height of this is 68.5, but it fit with at least an inch to spare. Even though it takes up around the same footprint as my 20-year old Kenmore (which was still working but an eyesore), there is much more room in the LG. I can see what other reviewers are saying about the LED lights and it would be nice to have them run through the top, but still I can see just fine with the kitchen light on. I kept a couple of the side trays from my old fridge (a side by side) and use them as catch-alls on one of the shelves to store smaller condiments. I do think that stuff in the back of this fridge could get easily "lost." The installers were very nice, though they tried to adjust one side of the fridge to make it level as my floors are slightly uneven, but didn't test it with a level, so it's visibly lopsided (I believe it's an easy fix). Overall, this fridge is absolutely beautiful and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I'm very happy with this purchase so far since I've only had it a couple weeks. This is the only style that would fit where my old side by side was as all others were too tall for the opening. I am pleasantly surprised by the roominess inside the fridge and like the deli tray and fruit/vegetable bins plus the door holds much more than I thought it would. I don't keep my milk in door as I prefer it on shelf. I don't think the freezer holds quite as much as as my old one did but that doesn't matter to me since I have a separate freezer. Temps are right on with a couple thermometers I checked them with and it runs very quiet. The doors sound an alarm when opened for more than a minute which is a great feature. I also like the hidden handles better than the ones that are attached to the outside as it presents a nice clean and slick exterior. The one thing to be aware of is the bottom of the door is low and as others have mentioned be careful not to pull it over your toes(After a few times you'll remember). All in all this is an exceptionally nice unit and if it's also repair free for many years I'll know I made the right choice.

At one month in, the refrigerator is quieter than the old one (which had a bad fan), holds 42F in the frig and -4F in the freezer at setting 3, is well lit (since its not overloaded), and allows gallons of milk on the door shelf; which is everything we needed in a replacement.

Needed a fridge for the new house. Neither of us like the french door ones as you lose too much space with the narrow doors and cannot store large items easily in either the fridge or the freezer. We chose this one as it was about the size we were looking for. It came a day early, the guys who brought it were super nice and the fridge looks really good. I installed it and connected it to the water for the ice maker. Again, real easy to do. There is plenty of space and we can put whole pizzas in the fridge or freezer which we could not in the old french door one. I would totally recommend this fridge. We have had it now for just over a month and no issues at all, Ice maker is also fast, summer in CA and 4 people here and always ice in the freezer. If anything goes wrong, I will update this post, but I am not expecting it to.

This refrigerator has everything I need. It has lots of space. People complained that the freezer door opens when you close the refrigerator door but this has not been a problem for me. Occasionally the freezer door opens a little for a second then closes itself tight if you close the refrigerator door firmly and quickly. I did not even use the leveling legs and the freezer door stays closed. The light is a little dim when looking in the back of the frig but not bad. It is light enough to easily find what I need. It's not like I spend much time in there. In the research I did it seems the freezer on top models rate the most efficient, the most reliable, and the least expensive. I do not like the freezer on the bottom models because it is too hard to get to the stuff on the bottom of the shelves. Overall I really like this refrigerator and I am very happy with my purchase.

This fridge has lots of space, including the crisper drawers. I appreciate that, as I buy a lot of produce. The lighting is bright & cheery. The ice maker makes neat, medium sized crescent shaped cubes. The shelves easily slide out for cleaning. All in all, I am quite pleased with the whole thing. Forgot to mention, it is also very quiet.

I was looking for a fridge that would just work like traditional fridge without all gadgets the newest fridges offer. I am very satisfied. it is big, makes ice, low noise, bright lighted and looks good.

Refrigerator looks great and the size is great given the height of the unit. This is probably the largest refrigerator with a height of about 67 inches. Makes ice very efficiently. Temperature was set at factory and is great. Downside is that one needs to be careful when closing the refrigerator door because it is very low to the floor and can hit your foot when closing(ouch if barefooted.) The other issue, but it seems to be a design, is that the freezer door does not automatically close. It needs a little shove to get it over a latch. This is probably a learning curve for us as our previous top freezer would automatically close.

This unit is excellent for what was needed. It is the largest one I could find at a reasonable price with an ice maker. Adjustable shelves and good lighting inside is an added benefit.

Love it. Very spacious. Quiet.. Love the extra shelf on the bottom of the door and love the extra pull out drawer in the middle of the fridge. I am amazed at how much the refrigerator holds. Ice maker works well. The shelves on the door are well made.

When we first plugged in this fridge, it was so quiet we wondered whether it was plugged in! After several weeks, we can hear a faintly louder hum. It looks great, works great, and has tons of room inside. It's like seeing a magic trick; an ordinary fridge on the outside, and deceptively HUGE on the inside. The stainless steel front does smudge, but a little glass cleaner and a paper towel have it looking good as new. We still need to run a line to the fridge to hook up the ice maker, but I'm confident it will be a great addition.

This has been really great for our big family, I now have lots of room for groceries and drinks. I can fit all of our drinks and milk gallons on the door. All the drawers are clear, making it easy to find what I need. Freezer is a nice size and we're able to fit in so much stuff. Stays nice and cold and if one of the kids leaves the door open it will beep to let me know. Only thing I would improve is the hand print/finger print resistance on this model, Its suppose to be finger print resistant but with kids its not.

Our old fridge decided to die after a bad storm. We have a smaller kitchen and didn't want something that we would have to adjust cabinets. Another thing that was going to be a possible issue, (which we saw in another review), was the water inlet line for the ice machine. Yes, it does stick out an inch. There was a concern of getting the fridge through the door. No worries, The fridge doors are removed when there is limited entry. Might I add that the doors are reversible, Im sure this is possible with most models built now a days. We purchased the white model. The area inside is very spacious. I like that larger containers like 2 liters and or milk have a wide shelf built on the door. Inner shelving is adjustable. Center slide out drawer is a nice addition. There are no handles on this fridge. So, no extra depth. The "handles" are on the top part on the lower door. and underside of freezer door. I quite like this feature. Having LED lighting is nice to have in the fridge section, Its nice that the freezer is lighted the as well. We have had this unit for a little over a month and couldn't be happier. Very quite. Keeps everything nice and cool. Good for those hot days when you want something cold to drink. The shelf inside the freezer is nice to have, Keeps one from over stacking and never seeing an item for a long time. One draw back, The water line for the ice maker was not supplied. I'm sure because of required length. Might as well get a length you can use. Better than having too much or coming up short. So, measure for that as well. FYI As you look at the front of the fridge the water connection is on the bottom left. All in all. we are very happy with this purchase. I would like to add that the delivery guys went above and beyond. We were called the day before. Verified the delivery time. Called the morning of the delivery. Called one hour from delivery. Called when they arrived out front. Very professional. Thanks guys! Yes, they hauled away the old unit. One less thing you have to do. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
