This appliance does what it is supposed to do and is actually cold when it should be a freezes quite well. I was surprised when such a small refrigerator could hold so much and learned that the design on the door was the secret. The holding area extends all the way to floor. Compared to older units that is the difference. But it also will provide the user with bloody toes, True story. There is no room under the door for the front of your foot. It will hurt. Can someone tell me why they send a filter and related items for the water when you have to purchase an extra charge device for the water hookup? If you happen to be looking for a meat drawer you will not find one in this unit and if you like the light in the refrig, don't look for one in the freezer.

Excellent fridge it it fits a lot food and drinks for the price it was great. What a great purchase

I loved this refrigerator for 10 months and today the top refridgerator shelf cracked and broke. I tried calling LG and got nowhere because they told me the wrong location of my serial number then called best buy. After over 1 hour the agent could not help me and then was very rude when i told her that LG requested that i call them for the information. The lady turned from helpfull to rude and even left my line on hold when i asked why cant they help a longterm consumer. I asked to speak with a manager which i was told that managers are only in the stores and to call them for help. And she cant do anything for me, i told her they supplied the appliance so they should have a record somewhere. I asked to put herself in my situation as a consumer and she cut me off and it was crickets from there on out. Luckily i called LG back and asked for a new agent who promptly helped me locate my serial number and processed me. She also noted in my ticket about the previous LG rep. As for best buy. I have bought lots of appliances but i guess now they will not be on my shopping list for a long time....they ruined a great thing with terrible customer phone service

The bracket on the bottom of the fridge makes it impossible to change which side opens. The "leg" the fridge stands on is part of the bracket that the door is hinged to... and its screwed in so tight, it wont budge. Great little fridge for extra drinks & things, but just very disappointed I couldnt change the door opening configuration, when you should be able to with this unit.

This refrigerator is roomy and attractive. It fit into my existing space perfectly. The top freezer is easy to use. I opted not to have an ice maker and find it quite easy to fill ice cube trays and store them in the freezer. I realize I may be in the minority for choosing to make ice this way. It works for my family! It is also one less thing that might go wrong!

I went from an old fridge that was in the house when I bought it in 2005 to this LG model. I've always had good luck with LG appliances so this was a no-brainer. Although the fridge is only about 1 inch wider than the old one there is a whole lot more room inside. I also like the produce bins and the ability to release and retain humidity for veggies and fruits. I'm not keen on the interior water dispenser because you have to keep the door open while filling a container which wastes energy. But that's a minor issue and we just don't use it.

I love this refrigerator. I love the feature of the water inside the refrigerator. I just wish it had the small drawer under the top shelf that went from left to right as the larger refrigerator does. It also could’ve come with an icemaker which I found at Lowe’s.

Very nice looking fridge. Really enjoying the water dispenser. Only complaint, wish this product had an ice maker.
