Do not buy this refrigerator. At first there were no problems ; delivery went smoothly. We were told that after 2 hour we would be able to put our food in the refrigerator. In the first 24 hours the freezer part of the refrigerator was cold but not as cold as what a freezer should be. By day 2 , the whole refrigerator was not cooling and about 400 dollars of food was lost. We called LG customer service and were informed of a food lost program they have. However, our case did not meet the requirements to receive money back. Not being happy with the situation, the only other option they gave us was the escalate our complaint and have someone else look over it. We were giving a case number and told we would hear back from them in 2 days. It has been 2 days and they have not called us back. Do not buy from LG.

One helpful step you can try is resetting the unit by unplugging it for 5 minutes, then plugging it back in to allow the compressor to restart. Also, please ensure the refrigerator has at least 2–3 inches of clearance around the sides and back for proper airflow, as restricted ventilation can affect cooling performance. Good and roomy frig, plenty of room for all we need with bright lights to see
