First I just don't like the inside. Didn't notice in the store that you don't have much choice in rearranging the shelves. Also, while one shelf on the door is deep enough for a gallon of milk, that means everything else that is smaller moves around and falls over when you open the door. The worst thing is the noise it makes. The first unit we got made a loud grinding noise every few hours. Best Buy delivered another unit and it makes the same loud noise several times a day. According to the manual this is normal and has something to do with the compressor. Would not purchase this refrigerator again nor do I recommend it.

Great capacity and good layout, except half-shelves would increase flexibility. Had to throw out the first three weeks of ice to finally be rid of the bad plastic taste. But the enduring problem is the noise, both for the first minute or so every time it runs and also when the ice maker fills with water. We're returning it for a different model altogether.

We bought this fridge in December so been using it about 3 months now. We had some space constraints so this was one of the few that would work for us. When the compressor is on it makes a constant loud high pitched noise. It is at a level that I find extremely annoying and it cuts through the other noises in the house. The compressor is on a lot so I hear it all the time. I hate it. I tried to get used to it since others said it wasn't that bad and by the time I decided I hated it I could no longer return it. I don't know if it is just mine and another would be fine but I would trade my old ancient fridge that didn't make this noise any day. The fridge itself is great and functional but the noise makes me give it 2 stars.

First you need to know that I wanted a right pull door. When it arrived it had the left pull. An easy fix- right? But not for Best Buy. When I mentioned it to Anthony ( our installer) he said “ this door can’t be reversed “. When I assured him that it could he then placed the handle on the same side as the hinge, and thought he was done. ( the most idiotic thing I’ve ever seen ). When I pointed out his craziness he then went on to say that he didn’t have the proper tool to reverse the hinge. Delivery personnel who are either lazy or improperly trained do not get a good review from me. And not that my son fixed the problem the refrigerator works well.

Makes alarm clock loud sound periodically. Door stays ajar unless purposely closed all the way.

the ice that was made by this smelled awful. I have dumped at least 20 lbs out and it is starting to get better. wouldn't buy again

The Ice Maker doesn't work. When we called for repair Best Buy decided to order a new refrigerator but it will take over a month to get it, so no ice except by trays which we had to purchase.

Bought the fridge and had to return and get a different model. We are a family of 5 and ice capacity was extremely slow.

I’ve had a number of refrigerators over the years and this has got to be the noisiest one I ever had. For me the noise issue negates a lot of positive aspects of this refrigerator. After a couple of years I’m considering buying a replacement, and it won’t be an LG! Life is not good or peaceful around it!
