    It took me a while to get used to this Frig. I am not real happy about the shelf spacing and the overall space. The shelf on the left door is really small and almost useless because of the ice maker. Overall I wouldn't buy this again. And the large ice in the lower section takes forever. Overall I would look for something else.

    The refrigerator works fine. Issues with Best Buys

    My refrigerator died on Christmas Eve. Went to store and purchased an LG refrigerator. This process went fine. Earliest delivery date was Sat. 12/28. Set up for morning delivery and it arrived at my home before 9 a.m. Unit came in with huge dent in back of it and a broken condenser fan bracket, so I rejected the delivery. Unit was reordered with the earliest delivery date being 1/3. Unit showed up earlier than expected causing me to leave work early. Upon removing shipping material, a small dent was found in the freezer door.

    Awaiting 3rd service in 18 months

    I purchased this fridge and had it deliver May 20, 2020. Last night (9/17/2021) the fridge completely stopped working. This is the 3rd time I’m having LG come out to diagnosis/fix my fridge. The first two times were within the first year and covered by warranty. Because the fridge has no power to it all, and I’m outside of one year, they wanted to charge a service fee to come diagnose ($125). Apparently the fridge having no power whatsoever is outside of the 5 year warranty that covers its “cooling function”. If you have a problem with this fridge outside of one year, I’d recommend when you call for help you say it’s not “cooling”. First two services calls related to the ice maker malfunctioning and it had to be replaced both times. Awaiting results from third service call.

    Was pretty happy with it until Compressor went out at 17 months. Buy manufactuter's warranty not Geek Squad's. Virtually impossible to get a repair appointment schefuled with them.

    LG fridge -Don't believe the hype - Life Is Good

    I have had at least 4 service calls, one of which I paid for. The last person I spoke to told me to wait until the manufactory warranty expired, then the store would take over. Its vibrates making noises that can be heard in another room with the tv going. The food frosts in the freezer, and the ice maker also freezes. A total waste of money.

    Defrost motor is very noisy. One door is not closing or opening properly. It is OK if Best Buy can fix the above problems. Or else, I don know what to do.

    LG Sealed Compressor issues re-dux

    Well I am now working on getting a 2nd major repair to the sealed compresssor system in 2 years. Not a happy camper. Buy the warranty. Supply chain problems, price increases, and faulty products equal a bad experience. It looks nice and performs weill when not have issues.

    I like the refrigerator itself, but they used cheap plastic tubing for the water dispenser. Even after almost a year, my water still tastes like plastic.

    Not a bad fridge so far ..... But ..... It supposedly has WiFi connectivity through an app. The instructions are worthless for connecting so I contacted support. I have been going back and forth with them for three weeks now without any kind of solution. I work in IT so have knowledge of connecting devices. I have purchased several other large LG appliances and was always impressed with their design. So far no issues with them but now realize if I do have a problem I will not get quality support. For lack of a support team I will not be buying any other LG products.

    LG Refrigerator

    As soon as the refrigerator was delivered there was a problem. There was damage on the refrigerator. Went to Best Buy to show them pictures of the refrigerator damage. They deducted money off the refrigerator if we wanted to keep it. We decided to keep it. Then was a issue with the water dispenser. The water smelled and it tasted bad. I changed the filter to see if that would help and it didn’t. I ran water through the dispenser about 5 or 6 gallons. And the smell seemed to go away, but the water still tasted bad. I put in calls to LG about the water bad taste issue. Now I’m waiting for a LG Tech. To check out the refrigerator. Poor warranty help I called three times, the third time I finally got a LG representative that helped set up a appointment.

    Absolute TRASH! DO NOT BUY!

    We are not big reviewers but figured I'd save everyone time. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. We bought on Feb 15, 2020. The freezer compressor went out on Sept 9, 2020. Spent 4 hours on the phone with Best Buy with no luck. Numerous hours on the phone and live chat to schedule warranty work w/ LG. HAHA 9/15/2020-The repair company just left. THEY CANNOT FIX THE FREEZER. A small percentage of repair companies are equipped to repair compressors using 600a refrigerant. This unit uses 600a. They will not even look at it.
