The look , silence and great cleaning are enough to overcome the slightly smaller capacity and odd cup racks. After a few uses you start to find the best ways to load to overcome the slight space issues. I"m happy with my purchase. Best cleaning and most quiet unit I have ever owned.

Cleans well. Not as quiet as I thought it would be on the heavier cleaning cycles. Also wish for a bit of a different set up for the top rack. It cleans better than the husband and kids so I think I'll keep it.

This thing is very quiet. The only sounds we hear are when it is draining, and that is not the dishwasher fault. To start the cycle is simple, it almost makes you think you are forgetting a step. Select Cycle... close... it starts. It does play a little musical sequence when you turn it on, and when the cycle ends, but is low and unless you are sitting next to it, you will probably not hear it. This is a very nice machine, but be sure to use your Jet Dry and the recommended detergent, you will get better results in the wash and dry.

Only used dishwasher less than 10 times this month but so far very pleased with performance. Stuck-on food gets cleaned well, no spots or drying issues. Also runs VERY QUIET...this was our biggest issue with previous unit so we were sensitive to noisy operations. Very happy with how quietly the LG runs. Only complaint is aesthetics...the stainless steel sheen is very bright...several shades lighter than my GE fridge and Maytag stove. Also the front-mounted handle means lots of fingerprints to continuously wipe off.

Bought the dishwasher with other LG appliances to get a better deal. This is probably the one we like least, but still gets the job done well enough. The plastic door that releases the detergent gets gunked up occasionally, likely due to hard water so requires some hinge cleaning. I guess all dishwashers have some water spotting as well.

Installed in minutes. Cleans great. And unbelievably quiet.

Super quiet dishwasher. It does a great job cleaning. However since it doesn't have heated dry I need to use the extra dry setting.

Like the quietness of if and hidden keys. However whenever I go to load something the rack separators tend to fall down with very little pressure - very annoying. Silver holder does not like my larger end forks they are too small so have to put them where the bigger utensils should go. Cleans well.

Love how quiet it runs. So far I'm having to learn how to maximize loading it. There has been an odor when the dishwasher is opened. It does seem to be getting better.

Replaced our dishwasher during a kitchen remodel. It's great, very quiet, cleans well, doesn't dry as well as my old one which had a drying element so you need a towel in your hand to dry the dishes when taking them out to put away.

Very quiet but seems too take longer then my old dishwasher to do a load.

It is an OK dishwasher. Though we weren't on a budget when we bought all new appliances, I decided to cut expenses on the dishwasher. I can't say it was a good idea or bad idea, as i cannot compare it with the more expensive one. I do not like the way plates fit in. our old one had really nice tines that bent with the plate so it would hold the plate upright better (if the plate leans at all it won't come completely clean) these tines are just straight up and down. as long as nothing is blocking the other dishes they do come really clean though. you just can't layer things as much as you can with other dishwashers. This is ok with us, we either have enough dishes to have to run it twice anyway, or barely enough to fill it. LOL. you just shouldn't squeeze those last couple dishes in they may not come clean. The bottom shelf has LOTS of room. the space between the shelves seems huge. never had an issue with something being too high to put in. always been able to get my pots and pans in. As far as drying. Using a drying agent has helped tremondously. we are lucky, usually we run the dishwasher at night, and then it dries by morning. but i have noticed when we do it during the day if we open it right after. they dont seem dry. again the drying agent has helped. I would recommend only if you can live with the downsides. we can, and I'm ok with it, we have learned to "work" with the dishwasher, and that has made it a good dishwasher for us. My one thing i look for in a dishwasher is, can i put a dirty dish in it without having to "RINSE" it off. and i can do that with this so its a good dishwasher.

LG dishwasher that cleans well and leaves no soap residue. Dishwasher is quiet through wash and rinse. Very pleased with this purchase.

We bought this dish washer for Thanksgiving. This is our first LG product. It's pretty quiet which I can't hear while it's running and does a great job cleaning the dishes. We are very happy with the performance. Thanks to LG for making such a great dish washer.

I really like how quiet the machine is, I can run while watching TV and not be bothered by it. I am very disappointed in the adjustable racks. They don't stay in place and the tines are so short that it doesn't hold the plates in place, causing them to fall over and bang into each other. The rack to hold the wine glasses is completely useless, you are better off not using at all, as it pushes the glasses forward rather than holding in place. I am also disappointed that you have to chose the setting every time. My last dishwasher would hold the setting I typically used and if I wanted a different setting, I could change.

Bought this dishwasher to replace an old one. Has been great so far. So quiet, you barely know it is running. Ease of use allows for bigger pots and pans to be washed. Don't need to spend the extra $$ on higher end dishwashers as this one does the trick!

Very nice and very quiet machine that is huge inside. Nice options with the racks, too.

after researching dishwashers , i dont think i could have made a better choice. cant get over how quiet this unit is and cleans the dishes great.would strongly recommend this dishwasher to someone who is looking for a good product at a great price.

I really love this dishwasher I love how quite it is and how it washes the dishes clean the first time and it also has a nice strainer to catch the garbage your dishes arn't scraped off before they are put in the dish washer
