I have been using the dishwasher for about two weeks. If I hadn't read an article before I got it about how new dishwashers vary compared to older-fashioned ones, I might have been disappointed by how long a wash cycle takes (2 hrs 11 min for normal). But I read that because detergents are now formulated to be more environmentally friendly, dishwashers run longer to adjust. There is a quick mode and a quick and dry mode available. I like the energy efficiency of this dishwasher and how I can choose to clean only the upper or lower racks if I have a half load I need to do. It definitely needs rinse aid to be used or dishes won't dry as well- but there is no mystery about this, it tells you all over the manual. It is very quiet, which is great. I thought I wouldn't like having to open the door to touch the buttons which are along the top, but I don't mind and I like the look. This model is not a food-grinding model - it is the other style, where it has a removable basket and filter you take out and clean directly if any larger pieces of food end up in there - but I chose this on purpose. I think the grinders end up harder to keep clean and eventually stuff gets in the motor and messes it up, but this is a personal preference. This model does not have the heating element in the bottom - again, I chose it this way. Now I can put plastic items in the lower or the upper rack (of course should still be dishwasher-safe). Some people think the moveable tines flop down too easily but I haven't had a problem with them, and I love being able to adjust tines so that I can really fit any set of dishes or pots in easily. I can even fit a big cutting board that didn't fit in my old dishwasher in this "tall tub" type. Dishwashers have come a long way, and if you are replacing one of the old styles like I was, you will be pleasantly surprised!

For the sale price of the dishwasher it has many features, is large and has the option to readjust the shelves to meet your different loading needs. It is very quiet running and the dishes come out sparkling.

Cleans the dishes very well and they come out spotless. Very easy to use and extremely quiet.

This dishwasher is so quiet that except for when it's filling or emptying you don't even know it's on. Yes it's really that quiet!! The run cycles seem to go on for ever - for example a "normal" run cycle is 2:11 (that's 2 hours and 11 minutes). Seems long to me for a dishwasher run. But I've never actually timed a dishwasher run before. I only know what this one is because it tells me so :) (shows the time left for the cycle on the display). The dry cycle works okay...it leaves some dishes wet, especially on the top rack. But tolerable... And the inside is HUGE! When the door opens, it's about 3" off the floor! I've yet to put anything into this thing that there isn't a place for. It's very versatile with the folding racks, adjustable top rack, etc. Overall a great deal!

This is a tremendous dishwasher. It has sprayers for the top and bottom racks, hidden controls, and is so quiet that you don't know it's running.

I loved this in-store, and we spent an hour comparing/contrasting four different dishwashers before deciding on this one. It cleans beautifully and dries quickly (never any remaining water puddles or drops on any dishes). I do not, however, like the layout of the top and bottom racks. One side of the top rack fits cups/glasses well, but the other side is slightly narrower; area to put bowls, etc. is not centered either, which just feels odd. The plates tend to fall forward some on the bottom rack if you bump the rack the wrong way, and it is not set up well for pots/pans. The bottom rack consistently gets "off the track" if you don't have your hand centered when rolling it back in (and occasionally even when you do), and this is extremely annoying. I don't think it is worth the $599 we paid for it, but at least it cleans well and it is quiet when running.

Between the capacity and large dishes it will hold it is the quietest most amazing dishwasher I've ever seen or heard and I am a contractor and have don't with lots of appliances.

This dishwasher looks great in my kitchen, easy to load, runs very quiet! Love LG products I would not buy anything else. Watch for the sales as it is worth it to get LG

I have been doing the dishes by hand for several years. After my wife and I bought this dishwasher, we absolutely love it!! It's quite, does a fantastic job, looks great, has awesome features and is very inexpensive to use.

The LG is a great-looking dishwasher with minimum buttons to use for many of the different options this particular brand offers. I browsed through the manual for 5 minutes and intuitively understood what the buttons meant and how to get to the different options should I need them. So far everything gets cleaned and dishes look great!

I really like the stainless steel interior. The controls on the top edge of the door are a great feature for those of us with small children. I've only used this for a month - I'm finding it a pleasure to use.

Noise free and clean, this dishwasher is worth all the reviews. The sanitary cycle is a great new addition. Streak free and energy efficient, this dishwasher gives you the element of surprise.

Great product and works exactly how I would expect it to. It does take 2 hours to go through a cycle but it's very quiet so i set before I go to bed and don't hear it running at all.

We are overall pleased. Very quiet, almost too quite, not sure if it is running. Like that the buttons are not exposed. There is a filter inside that has to be changed, our old one did not. Takes average of 2 hours to do a normal cycle.

I love my new dishwasher! It has no heating elimant in it so I can put plastic on the bottom rack and it does not shrink or melt. You can not open it during the cycle or it will not do the condensation drying correctly. But that is not a problem for me. I am one of those types of women that if it can not be put in the dishwasher, then it goes in the trash. I have less things going in the trash now.

We couldn't be happier with our choice. It looks great, does an excellent job of cleaning and drying and is extremely quiet. It's been an excellent value.

This dishwasher runs s quietly, you wouldn't know it's running without the blinking light on the front. Cleans dishes well. Great product.
