Bought this monitor as a replacement for a FHD unit in a triple monitor setup. The 4k is a very nice upgrade over the 1080p. I don't know how much more noticeable resolution there is over 1440 at this size but I don't regret getting the 4k at all. The menu is very nicely laid out and easy to navigate. The preinstalled picture settings are very nice and the dimming is pretty good when I'm working in the office at night. The hookups are easy and don't stick out as much as I thought they would (I was worked the cables stuck out and not down but it wasn't a problem. I've run a couple games and the monitor handles them very well. It's not HDR but the colors are still bright and vibrant and the picture holds up well even on the older crossfired r9 380 setup on my older computer build. Overall I would definitely recommend this monitor.

Great monitor i don't do games but do fool with video editing a little. I had bought a Samsung that was bigger (28 in) and i always mount my monitors on an arm that extends out 24 inches and i can pull it in front of me. The bigger one was just too big but this one does a good job has display port and 2 hdmi ports so that is all i need

Get this 24-inch size if your desk is shallow

The ideal situation for this monitor is when it must be positioned close to you. In our case, the desk is relatively shallow and the monitor surface will be about 20 inches from the user's face. If our desk was deeper allowing the monitor to be further away, then I would have bought a 27-inch 4k monitor. I bought this monitor for a family member who is attending school from home (a lot of screen time). When looking at homework together on his old 24-inch 1080p monitor I could see pixels. This new 4x monitor is much sharper. I put a rating of 4 on price - it is a bit pricey, but I'm still happy to have it. Monitor controls are handled by a single intuitive button on the bottom that moves like a joy stick.

This is a very good monitor for the price. Bought a pair to replace my Samsung monitors that were horrible, with missing pixels and lousy resolution. I can now read 6 pt type that was impossible with the Samsungs. The LGs have excellent resolution and work great with my MacBook Pro.

I've used this monitor for a few weeks now and it's great. Bright enough with a window in back, excellent resolution, no noticeable flicker, not too big and not too small.

Perfect for the small space on my kitchen island!

I have purchased 2 other larger 27 inch 4K UHD LG monitor and have never had an issue, so expected this to perform well. I wanted to stand in the kitchen and use the island as a work space for a large project with lots of papers to organize/toss. Also wanted to move around while working (maybe watch Netflix too), This was a GREAT price and the perfect size. Note there are no speakers, so if you want sound try pairing your ear cans/buds or other bluetooth speakers to the computer you are using. The biggest concern is that, like tons of other monitors, this is not height adjustable. Otherwise is a perfect monitor and I expect many thousands of hours of use from it, as I am currently getting from the bigger sister monitor! Its a great choice! Worth the few extra bucks esp. if on sale. Thank you Best Buy!

Nice Monitor but not compatible to docking station

Resolution: 5 star (really crispy text, good for Excel spreadsheets, for work) Assembly: 5 star (takes 5 minutes max) Adjustability: 3 star(can be tilted, but that's all it does. Can't have a portrait/vertical view, can't go up and down.) Compatibility: 2 star (HDMI cable works perfect, but display cable doesn't work, even after LG sent a replacement display cable. Called LG warranty, they told me they do have compatibility issues. so if you don't use a docking station like me, you will love this monitor. I'm torn between return it or keep it but having the inconvenience of not using a docking station.....)

There’s not much to complain about here, what a great 4K display for the price. One thing you should know as a buyer if you have a MacBook Air/Pro and are using a USB-C Hub, it works but only at 30fps which often feels weird, like something’s wrong. You must either get a Thunderbolt 3 to HDMI/DP (cable not included) or get a true Thunderbolt 3 dock (pricey, more than the display!).

    Fantastic 4K 24" Monitor

It's hard to find 4K monitors that either not one of the ultra wide models or less than 27" at the start. Fortunately not only does this model it exist, it's cheaper than the Apple "approved" LG 24" 4K monitor by a good margin. On top of that, it's a great monitor. I needed a monitor for my new home/office setup that I created due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I was limited on screen size because I bought what's called a ladder desk and the space between the ends of the desk was about 27" and I needed to go smaller so I could mount it and have it fit in the allotted space. This monitor fit the bill.

    Primary Display for MacBook Air

I was in the market for a monitor to use with my MacBook Air at work that would be used as a primary display (MacBook screen is my secondary screen in my set up). This monitor was the perfect solution to my problems. It offered a screen that was big enough to accomplish what I wanted, the 4K resolution that I desired and the price point I was looking for (I bought it on sale). I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I have a 4k gaming monitor with all the fancy things. But I wanted a 2nd 4k monitor for work. This monitor is filling that need well. Due to its smaller size, thr picture is even sharper and more colorful than youd expect. Text looks great. And brightness is pretty good (not amazing). The bezel and stand arent that sleek. 60hz refresh is fine, The monitor also seems responsive enough. I wouldnt recommend this monitor for gaming, but for a 2nd display or a main work display its a good choice.

Monitor not providing 4k Resolution - initially

I bought this Monitor for 4k PC. The monitor is great and I like to have finally a high resolution Monitor. The reason for a 4 star only is the lack of support. I bought a docking station from BestBuy as well. I have been fighting tooth and nail to get it to work though. Initially the Monitor would only get 2k resolution. I tired everything, searched online, downloaded all kinds up drivers to update on PC etc. I called LG support, I went to talk to GeekSquad at Bestbuy... but Nothing helped. I found some MAC users reporting similar issues (since monst MacBook guys have the high end 4k screen too). They use USB-C. docking stations vs the USB docking station I had bought for $100 from BB. So, I then got the USB-C docking station and it slowly started to work. It takes a while for the Monitor to adjust automatically to High Res. Just make sure you got into the Windows/Display section and adjust the resolution to maximum. I am glad that the monitor is great but again, lack of support from LG and other sources made it initially a bit frustrating. Hope this helps.

Required as a second monitor connected via HDMI to Mac mini (2020). No frills needed ( webcam, microphone and speakers integrated ) as they would replicate features of existing (LG) monitor. The interest in this product was to maximize graphics performance at a reasonable price. Sure you can get cheaper 4K screens but this monitor is an excellent performer which was very easy to set up.
