I’ve now had the dishwasher for almost a month. Let me start with the price and availability for shipping, same price as Home Depot but way better availability and earlier shipping with Best Buy. Received in 5 days vs 3months with Home Depot due to being back ordered. I skipped the $200 installation and did it myself. Not too hard to do if you just follow the instructions in the manual. I was upset at the fact that an appliance, which requires a power cord, doesn’t come with one in the box already when you’re already spending $900-$1000, which caused me to stop installation and make a trip to Best Buy to buy and spend another $30 for the power cord and water supply line and drain kit accessories none of which come with the appliance. This is 1 reason I only give 4stars. Dishwasher performance- Excellent! This dishwasher cleans really good, has several different cleaning modes, very efficient too in case you have small loads, adjustable tones and middle rack for pots or tall dishes, and love the 3rd row rack for flat utensils or Tupperware tops. Every single morning my dishes are super clean, you actually do not need to pre rinse your dishes either. If you do, you’re actually defeating the purpose of the entire functioning of the dishwasher. Definitely use a rinse aid as well, there’s even a light that tells you when you need to put more. Many reviews talk about drying. There’s no heater element in this dishwasher, so use the extra dry and night dry functions to help get dishes dryer thru out the night, which periodically turns on a fan thru the night to draw moisture out of the dishwasher. Because the dishes aren’t super dry most mornings, My 2nd reason to only give 4 stars. It also is very quiet as well, not loud and clunky, beautiful top button design, doesn’t leave finger prints all over it either, lovely stainless steel handle and front. Timer displays as well when turned on which is visible both on the dishwasher and on the LG ThinQ app. I did have an issue figuring out how to connect the dishwasher to my wifi network but figured it out, just press and hold a different button for 3 seconds in the panel. Be aware that some of the buttons on the panel have a 2nd function if you press and hold for 3 seconds vs touching the button 1 time. Getting ahold of a technician might be troublesome also since it’ll most likely be thru the app, so if you can, YouTube your problem might give faster results.

Very pleased with this purchase. Dishwasher is easy to use, super quiet and although it matches my other LG appliances perfectly including the handle accent, it one ups them by truly being print proof. Looks great all the time with minimal, if any, wiping. The dishes and glassware have never, and I mean this honestly, never looks as spotless and felt as pure before. We upgraded from an 16 year old Whirlpool and the difference was like day and night. If you decide to install this yourself, as it was not at all difficult, be very careful not to overturn the screw gear used for leveling the rear of the unit or you will turn a 45 minute install into a 3 hour project to get the leveling balls on. Overall, I would recommend this dishwasher and I would recommend Best Buy!

Great dishwasher! Nice design with the third rack for long untensils.. Very convienient .nice and quiet and cleans the dishes thoroughly ! Very happy with this machine!

Great dishwasher. It’s very quite! I love the third rack for wooden spoons, spatula etc. Very easy to use. Dishes come out clean and dry!

One month of use. Quiet, does a great job on dishes. Love the adjustable racks bit in height and the tines can be flattened on both lower racks. Third rack is a nice bonus.

My prior dishwasher broke from moving into a new house, it was a very cheap Amana unit. I talked to the rep about samsung vs LG, as my washer/dryer are samsung but everyone in my family has LG. i know it was a bit more, but definitely glad i did. it doesnt have a heating element so it wont ruin plastic items. For the most part the drying/steam dry really works well and leaves the dishes and silverware spotless! only thing is the 3rd rack, i tend to put some lids on that, and they do tend to collect a little water, so i usually just open the door and leave overnight or leave for a few hours for it all to evaporate. Overall, i think this dishwasher with its performance has convinced my family to convert to LG also. Very happy with this and the ThinQ app. i love that it notifies me when completed, or i can monitor cycles and adjust accordingly. Love my LG dishwasher!

Dishwasher is great! It’s very quit, cleans everything, and no issue with dishes being wet. The rack on the top is a great too. The only thing I wish I got the finger proof one that can out later. Have to constantly wipe it down.

This dw is so much better than the one it replaced. It actually cleans the dishes! It's also really quiet, which is great. The 3rd tray is a wonderful bonus that is very handy. I love that the top rack is adjustable. Great buy! The ONLY con is that this s/s model is not fingerprint resistant.

I bought a washer and dryer last year that was LG! When I purchased the smart LG dishwasher I was so excited to connect it to the app! And they all give me the same sound notification when they are done! It's fast, silent, and cleans to a shine!! Very happy with this purchase!

Nice looking. Matched the fridge. Simple install. Runs and cleans very well. Good price. Plenty of features and programs. Fit good in existing opening old unit came out of.

This dishwasher is GREAT. In the two months of ownership, we have had no issues with it. It replaced a leaky Frigidaire. So easy to use, even Husband can do it. LG Appliances and Best Buy are the way to go.

I was a little apprehensive at first when I purchased this dishwasher but it has lived up to its name. The trays are user friendly and the silverware holder allows you to put silverware in separate slots so nothing sits on top of each piece. The added flat ware tray allows you to put large silverware flat down. The only thing I’m not crazy about is not being able to use pods you have to use powder dishwasher detergent. Dishes are very clean and dryer system is great and saves energy.

Great dishwasher have many features such as splitting upper rack or lower rack sectional washing, however I was not able to connect ThinQ with my phone, not sure what was the issue, overall cleaning the dishes pretty well

Our dishwasher died so it took me a while to decide on this dishwasher. Then a few months later my husband decides he’s ready to sell the house. I was sad we had to leave the dishwasher, but my husband promised I can get whichever dishwasher I wanted. So when we moved I got another one for the new house.

Operation is good. Only issue we had was squarish dishes with rounded edges tend to rotate. It causes the corners to protrude below the basket and the wash arm will hit it.

Beautiful dishwasher. It works really well and is extremely quiet. FYI does not have a heating element to dry dishes. I bit costly. Overall good product. The PrintProof is nice. Does not look dull. Very pleasing to the eye.

Pure and simple...not enough tines. It's great that I can remove some but why is there only four rows of tines? What about the center? Inefficient design in my opinion. I have tons of unused space as a result. I ordered without seeing because I was getting a deal on purchasing all LG appliances. Even now, if you look at the photos they post they are careful not to show you that it only has 4 sets of tines on the bottom rack. In addition the bottom rack does not stay in place when pulling out or pushing back. It moves off the "track" constantly. The middle rack doesn't have the right shape or design as well. If I use it for bowls or small plates there is no place to fit glasses. If I do find room the glasses are not held up at all because of the lack of tines in the right place. It's pretty, it works but I would never choose it again because it was designed so poorly in my opinion.
