We are very satisfied with the LG Bottom Freezer Refrigerator!

So far I love my new fridge! It’s in a home out of state so I’ve only used a few days but I love this style much better than my other one this style but with 2 doors or my side by side style. I would definitely recommend. I needed my handle on the other side but this one has that ability.

Great fridge.Simple. No fancy digital displays. No outside water dispenser. Exactly what I wanted.

Like the size and love the freezer on the bottom. The one probably I am having is adjusting the main shelves. I like the top shelf to house my juices and tea pitchers but by doing that I have one shelf area that is pretty much useless under it.

Excellent features. However, the left leveling foot is stuck in its highest position. I couldn't find a thin wrench to fit the nut above the free wheeling foot. I had to order a new foot from the parts distributor. Refrigerator was delivered 7/1/2020

This particular LG refrigerator fitted perfectly in our kitchen space. We like the lower freezer compartment and the upper part was very easy on out backs (from bending). So far, we love it.

Love the fridge. We actually bought 2 and reversed the handle on one to make them into a double fridge. Perfect for a family of 8! Easy to use, no issues so far.

Excellent product with reliability that lasts forever.

The refrigerator is just fine. But the installer has not compensated us, as promised, for the damaged kitchen door jamb that was broken during the installation. See photo

Overall the fridge is a fridge and is doing what it is supposed to be doing, but the reason I gave it a poor rating is because the seal around the freezer was damaged. So since the seal was damaged it caused the freezer to not work properly. I put in a service request as soon as I noticed and of course it took them a whole week to come out. In the meantime, I had to a place a heavy item to keep the freezer closed properly. When the tech came out, he was unable to fix it, even though I sent LG a photo of the issue in advance, and had to order the part.

Seems to be a good solid refrigerator, Ive owned-it for a couple weeks now, Does not have a lot of fancy frills like on some refrigerators, Sometimes simple is best

Overall the refrigerator functions correctly and is a good size and fits for our needs. The main reason I gave it 2 stars is because the ice maker had issues and ended up leaking on our hardwood floor, which we recently just had refinished, causing hundreds, if not thousands of dollars worth of damage. The leak was small enough that it was not easily detected and seeped into the floor and it took a bit to realize it was the ice maker leaking. It was still under warranty so an LG certified tech fixed it. However, they indicated that it is possible that the issue may come back, in which case the ice maker would need to be replaced. Apparently something in the path of the water line going into the ice maker froze up, causing the connection to expand and leak. Seems like a design flaw LG needs to fix. Net result is I purchased a leak detector to place under the refrigerator to hopefully catch it sooner rather than later if it does leak.

I want to start out by saying that I was upgrading from a 17y/o fridge of a similar size. It's been a few weeks I've used this fridge now and I am not impressed. During this period, I used both the Govee and SensorPush bluetooth thermometers for 24/7 temperature readings. Compared to my previous 17y/o fridge, this fridge failed to cool my food more efficiently. My older fridge had an average weekly temperature range between 34F and 41F with 40F+ excursions occurring just 1-2x weekly (lasting 10-30 minutes per temperature spike). This new fridge had an average weekly range between 32F and 45F with 40F+ excursions happening 3x or more weekly. Sometimes the temperature would exceed 40F+ multiple times per day for extended periods of time (even recorded a duration of 1.5 hours of elevated temperatures over 40F). My old fridge did this rarely, but this new fridge has these temperature spikes much more frequently. The freezer also did not meet my expectations. My old fridge had an average range between -12.5F to -2F on any given day. This fridge has a range of -10F to 10F and would rise to 10F 3 times a day and would remain elevated above 0F for an hour each time. And finally, I had an outage. During the outage I did not open the fridge/freezer doors at all. Ambient temperatures were at about 75F. My thermometers showed a 4 degree increase during the outage and recorded just over 41 degrees when the electricity turned back on. Fortunately the outage lasted about an hour. I've had outages that lasted 3 times longer last summer. That's 4 degrees per hour which means my food would have been over the 40F safe zone for 2 hours before electricity kicks in (not to mention the additional time it would take for the fridge to cool back down to below 40F). If I had been using this fridge last year I would have had to throw all my food out. I checked all around the seals of my fridge/freezer doors and checked for any airflow blockages. There are no objects or walls within 2 inches around the fridge and doors are opened sparingly. My fridge is loaded to about 30% capacity with lots of airflow room between items. I am so appalled by what I received in comparison to a fridge that is over 17y/o that I'm not sure I want to buy anything new anymore.

Ice machine is loud when filling with water. Water filter needs to be flushed for days the ice still smells after month. Have made over 12 calls regarding front of door plastic buttons to cover screw holes when for reverse of door handle. I now have heard from other people who have issues the LG advice to not buy products.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this refrigerator!!!!! I want to buy another one!
