I love our new fridge...it has plenty of storage, with big vegetable bins, and a large butter keeper on the door. It makes plenty of ice and very quickly. It is very quiet, except for the ice cubes dropping into the bin. So far, no issues...my only complaint is that the interior lighting could be brighter, otherwise I am extremely happy with our purchase.

This was a replacement for another fridge that had been in my home for over a decade. It had been through a few repairs, and finally I decided that it was time to just get a new one. Best Buy is like my second home, so it was a no brainer where I was going to go. The associate that helped me was very knowledgable. I didn't need a fancy fridge, just a side to side with water and ice. That's it. I like the lighting in the fridge and the door alarm that sounds when it's been open for a minute. The shelves are glass and easy to move around and rearrange. Filter is really easy to connect. The screen to control the temp and ice type is easy to use. There's a way to lock water and ice in case you have small children around. When ice is going, you do get a little buzzing noise. So depending on what cup you're using, it can get a little loud. Water fills up cups quickly. It was priced reasonably as well and the experience with the delivery and installation was amazing.

The multiple gallon depth baskets on the door, a generously sized dairy bin, along with placement and spacing of interior shelving (even with it's limited adjustability) is more than adequate to accommodate our needs. The additional freezer space allotted by the spacesaver ice maker well compensates for the limited capacity of its ice storage bin. The tall design dispenser well accommodates the larger receptacles we often utilize. Placement of the water dispenser in front of the ice dispenser does leave a little to be desired but thus far has been only a minor occasional inconvenience. The interiors of both fridge and freezer are well illuminated without being harsh. Third times a charm. Having unsuccessfully tried 2 other units to replace our previously 'deceased' fridge, we think we finally found a keeper !

I have had my LG for almost a year now and am a happy camper. The fridge has pleanty of space and keeps my food in the right temp ranges for optimum longevity for whatever is in the fridge. I only thing I don't like is the water dispenser. Whenever I have guests over to my house they get water all over the floor due to the angle the water shoots out. Other than that no complaints. It was an affordable fridge that out weights the competition on space and features in it's price range. SOLID FRIDGE!!!

Keeps food nice and cold! Could be bigger, but overall like the storage. Ice maker and water dispenser work great so far! Only tangible complaint is the power cord located on the top of the fridge, added just enough height to not fit under my kitchen cabinet without some modifications. If this fridge is close to your available height, be wary. I'm sure there's a reason LG designed it that way, but it made my installation challenging. Overall good fridge so far...been using it for around 1 month.

Purchased 3/4/16 after much research. Delivery was outstanding (took doors off to get it thru stairway to kitchen)! Ice and water dispensers work great. Loads of freezer space thanks to space-saving ice maker and layout makes it easy to organize frozen food. All bins slide open easily in fridge and freezer. Contents are easy to see with LED lighting. So quiet I had to check to make sure it was running-it does make a sound for 2-3 seconds when water fills ice maker but not loud. Doors close automatically and I like the fact the door has alarm feature if left open too long. Water filter is easy to put in. Door bins can easily hold 3-gallon size bottles. If the door bins are not filled you will notice jars, bottles rattle when door automatically closes. I have the stainless steel finish. Be aware magnets do no adhere to front of fridge, only side. Sides are grey not stainless! Great temp control throughout. Overall I love it so far!

Purchased this fridge in late 2015. Within 2+ years I already experience issues such as Ice making stopped making ice, irregular cooling in the fridge side where vegetables were almost frozen which I never touched the temperature settings. Last year the entire unit stopped cooling. I called my local Best Buy to check if i had a protection which they said i did not (however i had a 5 year protection plan) . I contacted LG directly which they replaced the compressor (maybe something else). It has been working fine since last April until last week where the ice maker stopped working and the freezer stopped freezing. I called for service which the tech came 11/22 confirmed my ice maker was broken. he ordered a new ice maker came today 11/27. Once plugged in and the new ice make would not power up and he stated it may be the power from the door and a new door may need to be replaced along with a new compressor. This is unacceptable for a fridge having so many issues within 4 years. At this point I dont know if my fridge is defective lemon and if it needs to be replaced entirely by LG.

Works great, fits good for where I needed it to and doesn’t stick too far out from the counter. Spacious inside of storing food for a family of about 2-3. Almost a year and no issues so far, cool’s great and freezes well. Door storage is spacious, 2 shelves large enough for a gallon of milk & orange juice and/or almond milk, coffee creamer. Produce drawer keeps veggies fresh for a long time. Haven’t noticed build up of frost in the freezer

I had a Whirlpool refrigerator which I bought at Best Buy 10 years ago. Loved it until it recently started to get very loud. I understand that's the typical lifespan of a refrigerator. I purchased another Whirlpool. Prices have skyrocketed from 10 years ago so I went with a reasonably priced one; still a side-by-side. It was VERY noisy. I tried to get used to it but just couldn't. I have a small house and could hear it in every room and even over the tv. They say you get what you pay for and that was certainly true in this case. I purchased this LG for a reasonable amount more and I couldn't be more happy. It is very quiet and spacious; a very good looking appliance. Every time I walk into my kitchen, I just have to stare at it. It has a great shine and while many others have a grill at the bottom or ugly feet showing, this one doesn't. The doors practically go all the way down to the floor. Compare that feature when you shop in store. Also, it doesn't show fingerprints easily. I've had it for 2 weeks now and haven't had to wipe any prints off. I've never had a 26 cubic foot, so it was a little larger in depth but still fit my space. I will seek out LG the next time I need to.

Overall, I am satisfied with my new LG refrigerator. However, the first time I pulled out one of the bottom drawers, it came off the track. I realized that the drawer track had never been screwed into the refrigerator. It concerns me that LG & Best Buy have such lax quality control! Likewise, the bottom drawer has a plastic cover flap that refuses to stay attached, so every time I open that drawer I have to re-attach the cover flap before I close the drawer. It is a nuisance, but it is manageable. The third issue is that the ice cubes tend to go all over the place, meaning I'm generally picking up some random cubes on the floor whenever I dispense ice. Again - a nuisance, but I had the same problem with my prior refrigerator, so maybe it's me! This refrigerator has a HUGE footprint in the kitchen, but it is sleek & attractive, & has terrific storage. I'll be interested to see its longevity!

We purchased this fridge as an out of box special. The price was great as a new model, but the out of box made it an incredible deal. It has tremendous space, especially for a side by side. The water position makes it a little messy for kids, but great for water bottles. The filter can be changed very easily.

Bought this LG side-by-side to replace a 12 year old LG French door with freezer on the bottom. Was hesitant thought there would be less space however, SO much more space and able to keep food much more organized. Love the ice in the door feature, temperature seems to be very accurate, and overall am thrilled and love this unit. I would highly recommend to anyone considering looking to purchase a new refrigerator/freezer.

I love the water dispenser on this model. It allows you to fill large containers including a 5 gallon cooler without making a mess. It is very pleasing to look at and the lighting inside provides a brilliant, clean, crisp light. As far as side by sides go this one should be a top choice for anybody looking to upgrade their refrigerator.

i like the refrigerator, very quiet, lot of space. Two things I don't like - The top shelf where we keep the butter is too high (I am petite) - I really miss my cheese and lunch meat drawer. US made refrigerators have an additional drawer to store cheeses/lunch meats etc.That is the main reason why i was hesitant to buy this refrigerator but decided to go with it because of consumer report rating-so one star off.

This refrigerator is very good, it's very spacious inside, the water and ice maker features are good, the led lights inside of the fridge makes it look cleaner, I don't like that it's a bit noisy when it's functioning but we are very quiet people so it may be nothing.

Pleased with our purchase. Keeps cold food cold and frozen food solid. What more can you ask for. Great lighting. Plenty of space. Would like more flexibility with shelf placement. Sometimes makes annoying vibrating sound but not too loud.

Purchased this fridge Oct 2017 to replace a Samsung unit that only lasted 2yrs. Goods- Ice flow is very consistent and it doesn’t make as much noise as we were accustomed to. A definite improvement over Samsung. Reliable, quiet and sleek. Best feature is the fact that doors open fully! Previous fridge had a limited range. Bads- Compressor seems to be running all the time, I feel like 40 of every 60 minutes this thing is running. Digital display looks kind of cheap, green LED display could have been improved. Shelf options seem misguided: I can barely fit a gallon of milk vertically on the top shelf, a standard one gallon pitcher does not fit unless I leave tons of wasted space above. I feel like they should have given more shelf options. Overall, my complaints are minor and surmountable, it’s more important to have a reliable unit and LG provided that to us.

We received the beast 3 days ago, it rocks. No issues with the icemaker. I asked my installer about the icemaker complaints. He told me it's because people want to hook up their soft water equipment to the fridge, and their equipment can't keep up with the water demand needed for the icemaker. Makes sense to me, anyway the machine is big, room for everything and then some, and it has awesome lighting. This is our first new fridge in 15 years, and we are very happy, its quite as everybody says, and that is really nice because our kitchen is close to our TV room. I use to hear our old whirlpool when the compressor was running, very distracting. The temperature controls are accurate and consistent. We ordered all new LG stuff including stove and microwave. All the new appliances look really good together and work great

We chose the LG because it appeared to have the most space. The ice maker actually makes real ice cubs. Time will tell on durability. Our last refrigerator lasted only seven years with multiple issues.

This refrigerator is quiet and has plenty of space inside. The ice maker uses very little interior space in the freezer. The panel on the door to control settings and features is intuitive and very easy to use. The ice dispenser and the space in the enclosure is very well designed and works well. The one thing that is a little different is the water dispenser. Instead of putting the cup/container in the opening where you get the ice, you need to have the cup/container outside the opening. The water comes out above the button and will spray on the floor if the cup is in the opening. It has "fooled" just about everyone who uses the water dispense for the first time. It is not very intuitive. Overall we are very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to others.
