Overall a terrific frig so far -- been a year. It's quiet and the inside air filter system really does work well which I thought was just a gimmick. The ONLY complaint is that not only is the ice maker/bin super small (which I knew) but it takes forever to make ice. Even on that "fast" ice cycle. It will definitely not keep up with more than a few glasses of ice or just one bag of ice to nurse a hurt knee without waiting almost another 8-12 hours to fill that little bin up again. This issue wouldn't stop me from recommending this frig obviously but fair warning!

I really like this fridge. It has a lot of room. However, it is noisier than I would expect. If noise is not a factor, you will LOVE it. We like it a lot.

Very spacious and shelves are able to move to make more room. Love the ice maker and the space in the freezer to put the already made ice.

We went without a fridge for two months as we spent 6 weeks fighting with the warranty company trying to get our old fridge fixed. We gave up and gave up on Maytag forever. I was a little hesitant to order a fridge from a company that also makes cell phones and TV's. But after reading numerous positive reviews and the fact that LG backs the compressor for 10 years, we ordered. We had to wait three weeks and put up with unprofessional office staff from the delivery company. All is forgotten now that we have this really nice LG.

This is my first experience with the French door style and I like the design of this refrigerator. It operates well, but I am disappointed that the front of the refrigerator is something other than stainless steel - magnets won't stick to it (they do stick to the side of the frig, however) and it is impossible to keep the outside of the doors clean. Usual cleaners just smudge. Ice dispenser is nice but the water dispenser is tricky - hard to dispense without spilling water all over the floor and adding to the stains down the front. Also, can't use water/ice dispenser built into the left door if the right door is open (bad for multi-taskers!) Left door shuts hard and makes the bottles rattle. Expected more from this brand and for the price. Nice feature is that door chimes if it isn't closed properly. Also, shelves inside are adjustable or can be removed to allow for size of contents. I am marking that I would recommend this to a friend because I think it is a good, reliable product, but I would also make them aware of these problems when considering to purchase.

So far I love this fridge! It has ample space available for holding all the food served at parties and it looks fantastic. Pros:very large, looks good, runs quiet when the doors are closed Cons: the ice in the ice maker gets stuck often so the door dispenser often won't dispense. When the doors are open the linear compressor makes a louder noise.

After researching at many consumer sites and walking through numerous showrooms, I found the perfect refrigerator for our family. The capacity is incredible. And LG got the "little things" right - ice maker hidden behind storage, capacity on door water/ice for large bottles/pitcher fill ups, lighting, temp sensors and filtration. Couldn't be happier!!

I must have read a hundred reviews and it came down to Samsung and LG. The LG was very sleek looking and just the right size for my family. Door alarm is a great feature. LED lighting is another great feature, it cools and stores fruits and vegetables separately. Door storage option is a great feature. Overall we are pleased with this appliance. Some reviews stated that it was loud? It’s quiet and functional. So far so good. LG seems to be the way to go.

Well designed in door ice maker and filtered water. Quiet operation is a plus. Adjustable shelves are handy.

We replaced a what we thought was a high Quality Kenmore Elite fridge. Whe started having problems and it was a couple days out of warranty. Sears told us to pound sand. We looked at all the reviews on line and likes what LG had to offer. Yes the ice maker door is heavy but it makes a lot of ice so it is a good trade off. Love the amount of space but could use a little more adjustment of the shelving. As with any thing new only time will tell. So far so good.

Was in the market for a new refrigerator, and this has not disappointed! It has been with me in 3 homes over the past 2 years and traveled across country - zero hiccups setting up each time. The drawer keep vegetables crisp, fruits fresh and the deli drawer does its job. The adjustable shelves are also great and easy to reconfigure.

We are very pleased with the purchase of this refrigerator. It has ample space in both the compartments. The water dispenser being in front of the ice dispenser caught a few of our guests off guard but that small issue would be my only complaint, if you could call it that. Having French doors makes it easy to store wide trays and the adjustable shelf is convenient for tall bottles. I also love the shape of the ice. Strange thing to like but true none the less.

This LG replaced a 17 year old Fridgeaire freezer on top (with ice maker). The design is superior to the classic fridge - allows you to see into all of your shelves easily. The only negative I would say is that both doors have to be opened to allow access to the draws. Not a big deal. This unit is quite, efficient and holds a lot of food. The amount of ice in the through-door dispenser has not been a problem as mentioned in a couple of postings- TMMV.

Great space inside and like how the ice maker is in the door and doesn't take up storage room.

We did plenty of research on fridges after our old one broke down, and had determined that the 23-24 sq. foot sizes were in our price range. We noticed this one at the store and really liked the ice maker being in the door instead of taking up space in the fridge. Also liked the longer warranty, so we made the purchase and have been happy ever since. Obviously haven't owned it long enough to say how the durability is but for now, highly recommend!

Has plenty of room for everything. Shelves move. Keeps vegetables and fruit fresh longer. Love it!
