French door design allows easy access to freezer items without moving things around to find stuff.lots of space in reg fridge area

Very nice, big, and roomy. I've had the new frig less than a month, so it's hard to know how reliable it will be long term. It is very quiet. I read about all the problems with the indoor ice maker, but so far, I've had no real problems. Amount of ice is small compared to my previous frig (Kenmore) that produced large amount of ice, no problem for ten years. This one has so much room! The design could be improved as noted by other reviewers. For example, you have to open the two upper doors in order to access the middle tray whose length runs across the two sections. I consider this a minor problem, although I am concerned about conserving energy. Of more concern for families with children is that I noted that the front stainless doors are hard to keep clean. I use a stainless cleaner that does the job best. All in all, I am happy for this upgraded model that I got at a reasonable price. Delivery and installation were flawless.

Only been in use for 1 week, the lower freezer is spacious and chills the freezer items fast. The top part is also very roomy.

This frig is very spacious. Love the movable shelving. The ice/water configuration makes it very easy to fill water bottles and big Tervis cups.

This was an upgrade from a very small GE side by side (came with home) that needed repair twice in 6 years for the same issue. I went to a few stores to see competitive models and decided this model/brand had the right mix of features size and price for me. I made the decision to buy online site unseen and I have not been disappointed at all. The unit is large so check your measurements carefully. We had two older side by side units (one in garage) and I was able to take the contnts of both and fit into this new unit with room to spare. Unit is really quiet imho. Ice maker works great and the ability to generate more over a 24 hour period is nice. All controls work as expected and the shelf layout was a breeze to configure just they way we needed it. Delivery was a breeze, Best Buy communication was fantastic. Overall a happy customer.

This fridge replaced a GE side-by-side. I love the french door top. It's so easy to see where everything is and accommodate large as well as small items. No more science experiments lurking at the back of the shelves. Ice storage in the door is great, many of the other brands lost space inside the fridge because of ice storage. Also like that the water filter is tucked away. Have had no problems with freezer storage. If you like to stockpile bargain meats, etc, you might prefer to have an auxiliary freezer.

I am very happy with this fridge. I reviewed many different makes, models and styles. I have a very bad back so I needed a unit that had the refrigerator on top and freezer on the bottom so I could get fruit from the crisper without having to bend over. Also with the French doors I was able to organize the inside so that I could open only 1 door and save energy. With the water and ice in the door also saving energy. Even with the freezer on the bottom the is a drawer in it that I can comfortably reach without bending over to much.

The LG was a replacement for a whirlpool that went haywire. The LG is very quite, large inside & a nice looking refrigerator.

This is a great fridge! Actually ordered the exact one in one size larger, but there was no way even with taking the doors off that it could fit through my doorway and down the hallway to the kitchen. Best Buy was very understanding and worked with us right away on this model and seemed concerned that we be happy. This fridge even though smaller, fit our needs and we were not disappointed at all when it was all said and done. This fridge will look beautiful and upscale in any kitchen and enhance its looks. Lots of space, freezer is huge and everything is easy to be cleaned. Must buy a can of stainless spray for the outside, it will protect against fingerprints and scratches if you buy the right spray. Nothing negative to say. Family of four and a little less ice than desired, but haven't run short either. Another quality product from LG!

My wife and I haven't been able to fill this fridge - family of 5 mind you. Huge space. And the looks are awesome, both inside and out.

Makes ice at a fast rate. Steady temps and quiet operation. Great shelving organization. Second ice storage bin is great.

It's good quite refrigerator. Some time ice maker give problem (if not using regularly). Otherwise it is a good and specious.

LG is the way to go. Looks great and plenty of storage space up top and down in the freezer. French door is the way to go. Family of 5 here and everything goes up top more so then the freezer. LG owns the ice machine an water, work perfectly. LED lighting is awesome and easy on the eyes. Would buy and again and recommend.

The refridge is great. I have had none of the problems listed by other people. Ice works great. It is quiet. Both compartments stay cold. The only issue is that my son likes to drink the water right from the door tap. Yuck. I totaly reccomend this refridge.

I would have given this appliance 5 stars however during the installation the installers informed me that they could not attach the water input line for lack of a very common quick fit connector. So I drove across the county to get the connector and finish the installation myself. This is after being forced to but a water hook up kit which I knew wasn't applicable to my home. The installers were nice and professional but this will be the last appliance I will buy from Best Buy.

This fridge is amazing, cooled down in 50 minutes. Has amazing filtered water and ice maker really preforms.
