    Lots of Space

This refrigerator was perfect for us! Tons of extra space, especially since we didn't get the icemaker in the door. It does show fingerprints, but it is SS. I like the freezer on the bottom and having the handle that releases the suction to easily open the freezer door. I also enjoy the french door style. It's so much easier to get around someone when the door is open, because it doesn't take up the whole pathway. I think my only complaint is that there isn't a filter for the icemaker, so the ice taste funny and leaves floaties in your water.

We bought this for our corporation break room. It serves about 30 employees and is very roomy inside. Makes plenty of ice too. Only problem, you have to close the left panel and then the right panel. If you don't do this properly, the door beeps until you close the door. the office sitting closest to the break room ends up having to close the door.

I've been very happy with this fridge. It holds so much more than my old one and the temperature seems very even. One thing I didn't notice until I went to the store was that the stainless model has gray sides. That's a nice look - the older ones had black sides, which stood out more in the kitchen. I didn't give it a perfect score because it makes some noise. I expected a brand-new fridge to be silent. The shelves on the doors are adjustable but for some reason the hooks aren't even, so the adjustability is limited.

Very spacious Love the ice maker inside of it, I prefer this over having it on the door. Door buzzes when it's left open Very spacious freezer. Love the pull out drawers.

We had a 4 year old LG similar to this model which developed a freon leak somewhere in the fridge itself and was deemed unrepairable. We were very happy with the fridge and as it was still under extended warranty, we went with this same but updated model. I have no complaints whatsoever with these fridges, they are exactly what we want...plenty of room, well organized and very well lighted inside. I have not had anything but good luck with all our LG appliances and so I would not only recommend them, but will also purchase LG as we have need.

I had been hunting for a while for a new refrigerator and some of the specialists in the store had recommended LG for reliability. I am coming from a Kenmore side-by-side that served me well for 20 years without any maintenance hassles. I'm not naïve, I know it is likely the newer stuff will not last as long (sad face). Looking at the French door units, it was clear they were attractive and functional and had plenty of room. Since the shelves could span the entire width of the fridge, they could take something like a big frozen pizza. The freezer on the bottom made sense to me too. I enjoyed the water and ice dispenser on the old side-by-side, but typically with these things the most complex part is the one that goes first, and is also the most expensive. So, I figured this time around I'd do without the water and ice maker integrated into the door, and just get a dedicated ice maker only in the freezer. That also gives you more room in the left French door, the one where otherwise the water/ice mechanism is stored. I picked the model that had the size and features I wanted (please, no cameras, no internet-enabled tablet functionality on the door, and no gimmick features that cost more than they're worth). I ordered it from a Best Buy store; the guys there were great and got everything ordered quickly including the delivery. They also added on the water line, a 6' braided steel line, for the ice maker. I could have bought that cheaper on my own, but I guess this way Best Buy guarantees the install will be smooth and complete on day one. So far so good. The fridge is as advertised; I haven't run power checks to determine if the energy star label is accurate or not, but it's quiet and doesn't seem to be straining. The lighting is great, the storage is roomy. I did have to get used to fewer shelves overall because coming from the side-by-side you have narrower space but a larger number of shelves in both the fridge and the door, but I got over it pretty quick. The freezer is very good, it slides out smoothly and has good room for several items. Some of the reviews of French door fridges say the mullion (a pivoting tall rectangular piece of plastic that goes between the two doors) is prone to breakage. I hope that day never comes for me or you, but if it does, with a little effort you can find a replacement part for less than a hundred bucks. So why not five stars? Well, here's the one drawback: the ice maker is slow as molasses. The engineers know it too, because they added a "make ice maker go faster" feature (Ice Plus) that increases cooling in the freezer compartment to accelerate ice production for 24 hours. I'm almost at a loss for words here. My 20-year-old fridge could crank out ice all day long every couple hours, but this thing has a tiny ice tray and it takes more than a day to fill up. It does work, so I can't say it's not functional, but wow. In addition, it's a little disappointing that the ice maker is designed so that it's not convenient to reach the on/off switch. The fridge can connect to my phone via Bluetooth, and there's an easily reached switch on the top of the fridge to turn on Ice Plus, but there's no other way to turn the icemaker on or off than to bend down, look into the freezer, and hunt for the little manual switch. Really? In 20 years of improved appliance technology, this is the best we can do? LOL. But overall, great fridge. We are happy with it. Tip: when you measure for fitting, if you can, make sure there is room on either side of the fridge alcove to open both doors all the way. In our home there's a diagonal section of wall that protrudes to form the pantry entrance and this blocks us from opening the right fridge door all the way. The big center shelf won't slide out fully if the doors won't open completely. Even so, you may still be able to manage as we do, because you can still slide it out about halfway and it's still usable.

I love the fact that it has sufficient compartments. The freezer is just big or small enough for a couple and love the ice maker. I love the lightening and that it reminds you, you left the fridge or freezer open.

So much room. Everything is visible and easily accessible. The freezer is huge too. However this refrigerator does not have a built in water filter for the ice maker. Needed to buy an external filter and attach behind the refrigerator. Other than that it's perfect for us.

    Huge Fridge

We were replacing all our appliances with stainless steel as part of a kitchen upgrade. We shopped french door fridges and read many reviews. We decided against the in-door water and ice because most everyone we know who has one, has a problem with it, usually no ice or broken dispenser. Who needs that hassle?!? Beside, the fridge looks much cleaner without all that business on the door and there is more shelf space available inside. This thing is huge! we were used to shifting things around after shopping to get it all to fit. Now we never want for space. The french door with bottom freezer is nice because we don't have to bend down to see whats there like we did with the old top freezer unit we had previously. The built-in ice maker works quickly. You can hear the cubes drop and then the ice maker refill, but other than that it is a quiet fridge. I wish there was a water filter on this unit, there's no mention of one in the manual and I can't find one either. Fit and function are fine all around, the fridge was delivered on time and easy to install. It looks great in our kitchen.

Wanted to update my kitchen appliances to stainless. Originally had a side by side. I love the french door refrigerator. So much space on top. Meat drawer is very nice. Plenty of door space. I was worried about the freezer drawer not being spacious enough. It actually is very spacious and easy to find things in. 2 negatives- 1- does not make as much ice as my old side by side. 2- fingerprints!

I wanted a French door model with NO water dispenser because I have an undersink water filter. I didn't see too many models reviewed out there. Ended up getting this one because of good reviews for the same model except with the water dispenser. I love the configuration....if you are thinking of getting French Door model to have clearer access to all your food, it totally is worth it....I waste almost no food now, because I can see everything in this fridge as compared to my old side-by-side, which was deep and narrow. It is great for entertaining, for large trays. The only thing negative I have noticed is that some lettuce froze at the very back of the top shelf and the top drawer of the freezer doesn't roll smoothly. Otherwise, I am very happy with it.

Overall I'm satisfied. The fridge has more than adequate space for fruits, veggies, deli meats, and other common food items. The freezer handle is also unique in that it is flexible. The only issues I have is the space between shelves is not a lot. As a result, if you get milk, juice, or 2 liter bottles they can only be stored in the inside shelves of the doors. Also the fridge is somewhat noisy at times when the ice maker is on or overnight. This seems like an LG thing because my previous LG fridge had the same problem.

This refrigerator is an ice making machine! I have to bag the extra ice because it’s overflowing. The size is perfect and so far the only issue is the door slams shut. We are going to make some adjustments and see if that helps. The Best Buy team that set it up were great and overall it was a good delivery experience.

I really like the LG 27.7 ft French door fridge. It is large enough to hold everything and see everything. I like this one better than the 31 ft as it has 2 larger vege drawers, rather than the 3 smaller drawers. The only advice is make sure the delivery guys take out the door "stop". They forgot to remove mine and one door was much harder to close. Once the repairman came back and removed it, no issues at all. I highly recommend this fridge.

I purchased this LG refrigerator for a new home almost a year ago and couldn't be happier. It had ample room and has a convenient layout. We have an open plan kitchen and the icemaker is much quieter than I expected. I'm glad we chose this model - no problems to date.
