this is a descent 4k monitor. it does say it is free sync compatible, i have a r9 380 video card that has free sync but monitor will not do free sync. other than that, tho monitor has a beautiful picture and all my games run superbly with the r9 video card. i have to yet see any game lag. the only thing about the monitor i don't really like is the control button for the monitor.

This monitor was on sale and I picked it up. My first monitor had some issues, when the screen was black I could see blue, green, and sometimes red pixels on the screen. It was like it was snowing pixels. I retuned the monitor and got a new one. No issues with the return and no issues with the new monitor. My son loves the resolution and colors when playing his games.

Initially attracted to this monitor by the reduction in price, however once I installed it and now that I have used it for more than a month, it's absolutely a fantastic monitor that works as well at lower resolutions as it works at 4K. Hands down a better bet than the equivalent Samsung.

I wanted a monitor where the screen extended edge to edge, this one appeared to do that but after powering it on the screen actually stops short of the bezel. Why have a thin bezel but a screen that doesn't reach it? Additionally, windows 10 cannot deal with UHD monitors connected on Display Port and sleep yet, so every time the monitor wakes from sleep my desktop icons get scrambled (google it, all UHD monitors do this). Additionally, the black levels are not quite as wet/deep as I had hoped, so the monitor's colors look "washed out". I've tried tweeking the settings but can't reach my old monitor's performance. Because of all of these, I may end up returning it.

Easy setup and no problems using the product. I would recommend this.

Beautifully designed. Nice colors. Good contrast. But lcd is not oled.

Great monitor. Super sharp. Great menu system. I like the joystick under the front edge. 1 DP and 2 HDMI inputs give plenty of hookup options. I have a PC and a Mac mini driving this monitor and it works well. Switches inputs automatically. I think it's a great value for a 4K monitor.

Love the resolution but the Hertz rate is a little slow for games.

IT IS PERFECT SIZE AND IT WORKS VERY WELL JUST BESIDE THE MAC BOOK GIVING A DIFFERENT PICTURE TO A PERSON LOOKING ON WITH A SMALL PICTORE BESIDE A LARGE ONE. THE COLOR FROM THE LARGER SCREEN SEEMS IN SOME WAY TO RESIGNATE IN A VERY BRIGHT WAY ALL ARIUND INCLUDING THE SMALL SCREEN.

Got this item on sale for clearer text over an ASUS monitor we had been using for a while that made text really blurry. This LG makes everything super crisp and easy on the eyes. Screen finish is a nice matte finish that reduces glare but still provides a nice grain free display.

I bought this monitor as an excellent-condition open box and was surprised to see that it was practically new. It did have a scuff on the bezel of the screen on the lower right, which is why I took a star away. But as far as the monitor goes, I think it is great for what it is. An ips 4k panel is a lot better than my TN 4k monitor I had.

just got the monitor today and so far so good. took a few to get the proper settings, etc. it seems that the thunderbolt to hdmi cable that I got from Amazon wouldn't do 4k. I ended up using the hdmi to hdmi to get 4k but it is at 30Hz. Guess I will need get a new cable - thunderbolt to display port to fully enjoy this monitor.

I like this screen, but when I slide my mouse it almost jumps and video have a slight lag. Nothing too extreme, just slightly. I switched it to gaming mode and turned off anything that seemsit may slow it down, but no success. I am happy with it, I'm keeping it. If any of you have suggestions on settings I'll gladly take them.

I turned in my Samsung U28E590D monitor for this, and have 0 regrets. The minimal bezels make for a beautiful monitor, with extremely crisp pictures and vibrant colors. Buy this, and don't look back.

I was so bummed when I had to take this monitor back. I found an open box special and I fell in love with this monitor. The native resolution is stunning when viewing 4k content. I would have kept this monitor if it would have fit in my intended space.

I bought this primarily to give my ole PC a nice monitor boost and for use with the Xbox One S. What a lovely display. IPS is the way to go if you don't have a budget. 4K via hdmi and display port works great. My only gripe is the horrible stand it comes with. I'm bearing it but it's recommended to get a VESA mount.

The monitor is perfect works along side my rmbp didn't think i would like it at first but as the time went buy i couldn't see myself not using it..If your in a market for a 4k display this is it

I did my research on consumer reports, as well as reading the reviews of other buyers. I am using this as a second computer monitor and a TV (connected to a cable box) Works great for me.

Monitor for the price! Purchased this monitor for my youngest son. After purchasing a 13 inch Alienware laptop. We also picked him up the Graphics Amplifier from Alienware. The combination of the Graphics Amplifier the Nvidia GTX 1070 video card and this LG monitor gives you a wonderful Visual experience.
