I would recommend this product to my friend. The quality is good and the use and onscreen control is great for the things I need the screen for (research purposes).

Bought this when it was on sale. I primarily play games. I went from having a G-Sync monitor to this one (won't get into the reasons), so i've had monitors with refresh rates as high as 240 Hz and response times as low as 1ms. I typically play league of legends or games like world of warcraft. I used to play some shooters, just not into them any more. In all of the games this monitor performed adequately. Being an IPS panel, it great color reproduction. If you're a hard core FPS shooter player maybe you should consider something with a lower resolution and higher refresh rate. Otherwise, this is a good purchase. A side note - to have smooth frames while gaming at 4k you'll need a relatively powerful video card. a 1070 will play most at a reasonable frame rate, a 1080 will cover just about everything. A 1060 could struggle a bit depending on some extremely graphically demanding titles. In the end, its on you to do your research to figure out the general specs your computer needs to be to run a particular game, otherwise this is a great monitor.

I bought this monitor as a Cyber Monday deal and was blown away with the picture quality when I first turned it on! Everything looked very life-like, with no motion blur in sight. Being an IPS monitor also means it has very good viewing angles without sacrificing image quality. The only downside I see is with the stand. It's a bit flimsy feeling and doesn't allow you to raise or lower the monitor. But I think it's kind of expected at this price point. It's still sturdy enough though to hold the monitor without the risk of it falling over.

4k and IPS!!!! Frameless bezel with a glossy white finish on the back! Very beautiful monitor! The difference between a TN monitor and a IPS is that IPS has better picture quality and looks great from all viewing angles! Wheras a TN monitor is great for gaming because of its response time but the picture quality wont be as great as an IPS! Also, if you look at a TN monitor from the side you can see a bit of a yellowish coloring to it. Which is why this monitor is fantastic because its 4K and IPS!!!!!

Read many reviews and looked at this monitor in store prior to purchase. I'm amazed at the quality of the image and pleased with ability to have multiple programs/Windows on same screen. I originally had a multi monitor setup, but with this I was able to get rid of that. As other reviewers mentioned, the stand is flimsy. Overall for $500 for a 4K computer monitor this one seems is a winner.

I has free sync and works great if you have high end AMD graphics card. Colors are great and very bright. I would recommend this monitor to anyone who looking for $500 4k monitor. I have a GTX 970 and I can play 2K resoluation with everything maxed out at constant 60FPS.

I wanted to upgrade at least one of my monitors to 4k and saw they were running a sale on this monitor. It provides a really clear image and good color representation for VFX work. I have two minor issues with it, the stand it is on is not super stable so while typing or if you bump your desk, the monitor shakes around which is annoying for detailed work. The second is that at 4k the text and small details can be hard to actually make out without zooming in. There are work arounds but not always desirable. In the future I would get a larger screen size.

I first purchased a Dell TN 4K monitor from BestBuy - historically have loved and owned many Dell monitors - but performance was below expectation at its price level so I was fortunate that this monitor was on sale at that time. The LG has preferred features (IPS, easily and highly configurable, current appearance including slim bezel) and it is for me a keeper (even possibly @ the full retail value but I will leave that decision to you).

Thus is a nice monitor. We wanted one to use with a laptop docking station, because my wife did not like the dual monitor setup we had. With this, we can easily pull up two documents anand compare a full page view of both. After using it for a few months, I wish that i had bought a curved screen. The screen is good, but I find myself leaning left or right to see the sides clearly. I think a curved monitor would have addressed that issue.

I have recently upgraded my camera and video gear to include 4k video and finally decided to buy a 4k monitor. I needed one that was color correct for obvious reasons and had read the reviews on this one and decided to give it a try. I am more than pleased with the resolution, color and contrast. Even though it is not perfect color I think I can get it there with a little tweaking.

This is a great ultra wide monitor! this was my first monitor I've ever purchased..after doing countless of hours of research on YouTube and google and seeing nothing but 5 star ratings and experiences I decided to invest huge part of my budget for my setup and this is an amazing monitor not only excellent for gaming but for art work and watching 4k videos and movies!

I bought one of these monitors and was so impressed with the picture and the build quality that I returned to the store and got another. So, now I am running dual 4K monitors at 60fps and loving life. There are some compatibility issues with the scaling. But, as software developers are releasing updates to account for 4K, these are quickly becoming a thing of the past.

This monitor is absolutely incredible, the picture on it is gorgeous. I use this for my PC where I do general web browsing, gaming and watching movies. The picture is flawless. Also for those of you who are looking, this monitor works perfect for the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One S. It has hdcp 2.2 so no worries, it will be future-proof. Highly recommended

Great monitor, I'm very happy! The picture is crisp and clear - the wide format is great for watching videos. I haven't figured out how to get rid of the menu that comes up when I turn it on, but it goes away after a minute, so, I haven't made it a priority. I'll figure it out... eventually. Minor problem, though, I'm very pleased with this purchase!

This screen is absolutely gorgeous to look at. The bezel is very small and minimal which helps to keep focus on the IPS panel. Running this with a MacBook Pro (Mid 2015) at 4K@60Hz in 1080p HiDPI mode is very nice, but the native 3840x2160 can be a little too small for everyday use. I don't game much these days, but what I have played on it has looked great, which the 5ms response time not being much of a factor. The only big con is the stand, which looks nice, but provides very little support to the monitor making is wobble and sway if you don't have a way to stabilize it. Luckily it has a VESA mount, so those who have their own monitor stand/arms this won't be a concern for. Some might say the lack of USB is a minus, but that doesn't bother me. Overall and excellent quality monitor.

The image quality on this monitor is sharp and the colors looks great. I use my computer mostly for work, and the size and resolution make it really convenient to have a couple of windows open side by side, which I personally prefer over two monitors. The monitor itself is really nice looking. I have no issues with this monitor.

Cheap 4K Monitor that works flawlessly, i bought two to use on my 1080 ti and everything runs fine on one monitor as gaming and 2nd one as productivity. Pricey but is the cheapest and best quality out there. I hate that the power cord has its own power supply and that the light on the bottom of the monitor cant die unless u power down the monitor for example when the monitor goes to sleep it still flash on.

Wanted to use it for working two documents side by side. Perfect even with our my glasses! Only concern is the toggle switch on the monitor that lets you change settings us a bit awkward and for my short stubby fingers, not real user friendly. There is a desktop app you can use, but that assumes the monitor is on and working. No instructions, so had to figure it out on my own. The toggle button is odd to use.

This is a cost-effective 4K screen that does the job well. The screen is bright and the pixels are crisp. I am a developer, so I don't know about it's use for games, but for me it was an ideal, cost-effective way to get to 4K. My biggest complaint is that the stand is amazingly cheap. If I tap the desk, it wobbles for quite a long time. I am concerned about cleaning it for fear I will break the stand.
