The screen was fine at first, but it did not last long, so we had to return it.

I had a monitor I bought last year to use with my Macbook Pro. I had a problem with that monitor because even when I was putting the brightness on zero it was very bright and setting in front of it for few hours was giving me a headache. I went to Best Buy last week trying to find a better monitor. I found this one, so I said to myself: let me buy it and try it. This monitor has an amazing picture even it is a little matte comparing to iMac 5k monitor but it has a very good quality picture. I created special settings. Now the colors on my screen are so beautiful, and I can't even feel the light coming from the monitor even if I put the brightness high. Since the last week, I have used this monitor for many hours without getting eyes strain or a headache

It seems all the development went into the monitor and the stand was a last thought. The stand was wobbly and the vesa mount should be the primary mount option that should had came in the box. Otherwise the monitor looked great.

You can't watch movies at night on this thing without serious light bleed ruining the darker scenes. Regretted having to return it! Beautiful screen otherwise.

Just picked this monitor yesterday.
It great. Have lot of space but 27" @4K is overkill. So, I have to set it to 1444.
After I install some program and need to restart my PC. The monitor can't detect signal while login to windows. I have to reset , unplug all other my monitor and plug this in to another port so it can detect again.
Great if it always detect signal but meh its not. So, this will return to BB.
I can't bear with this problem cause every time I restart pc it happens.
For $349 it is a great monitor but after I have a problem I will pay premium for dell.

i purchased this one day and before taking out the monitor and all the plugs and cables in the box i loaded the disc in to see what was required. i found out that you had to download the drivers, software, and etc before getting to first base. Nothing was on the monitor it self. So, I went back to Best Buy the very next day to return and get a plug and play monitor. 1st I am at the elite level and the when returning it I was denied the return as this was my second return and corp had flagged my account even though I have a guarantee for 30 days. I had to take a store credit even though I purchased another monitor for less. The store credit was for the difference. I suggest before you ever purchase anything of a large amount you think twice as their return policy is not valid. I have never run into this anywhere else. I buy a lot of things relating to electronics and cameras but will probably purchase the large purchases from another place other than Best Buy.

Gaming 4k IPS with Freesync at a reasonable price!

Not my 1st 4k monitor so I have some experience (have an ASUS 28" PB287Q TN monitor and a 42" Wasabi Mango (LG screen) IPS monitor with Freesync). You do notice the difference between the TN monitor and the IPS, a lot, especially if you have multiple monitors. I do both work (CAD software and video editing) and gaming on these monitors, and since Windows 10 scales the programs much better than windows 7 or 8, a smaller 4k monitor (ie. this 27" one) works and looks awesome (I used to like the 42" the most due to the icons and programs would be normal size compared to the 28", but as I said Windows 10 actually takes into account scaling for UHD monitors).
Pros:
-$499 for a 27" 4k IPS monitor with Freesync
-5ms response time, not fast but good for an IPS monitor.
-Colors and brightness are amazing (along with details from a 4k resolution)
-Gaming is awesome especially at 11,520x2160 (pick up 3 and you're in eyefinity heaven, no need for AA settings at this resolution).
-Freesync for your AMD video cards. You can max out your settings and keep your fps in the 40-60 fps that takes advantage of the freesync and have a smooth gaming experience.
-Pick up an open box one and save about $60 overall after taxes.
Cons:
-No vertical stand adjustment. I guess the $$ you save on the monitor you can purchase a monitor mount, otherwise stack books under the stand to give yourself some vertical adjustment (it has tilt, just no vertical).
-No con here, but don't get suckered into other sites overpricing this monitor just because there's a lack of supply but a good demand for them. I've seen only one other site that has it in stock and they charge $100 more.

I really like the quality of the panel. The colors were stunning but it has some issues which forced me to return it and go with a Dell model
The interface uses one joystick like button which is very inaccurate. It makes it hard to select inputs
The stand is poor quality for such a beautiful panel, and it's easily moved.

4K is useless for windows system users

I have to say if you use Microsoft windows system, pls don't choose 4k monitor. The character's size is too small at 4K resolution. If you try to increase the character size under windows, you should find some software don't work normally.

I was disappointed in using the monitor as a computer display. It would blink out when computer was at 60FPS, but OK at 30FPS. So, if you need higher than 30FPS, beware of unstable operation.
