This monitor was on sale and performs great, even next to my Apple Cinema Display... The Cinema Display gets very warm and clearly uses a lot more power. The LG display is not glossy and is very light compared to the Cinema Display so I easily wall mounted it.

Sharp, full sRGB color gamut, very bright. Easy to use controls and all the right inputs including HDMI and DisplayPort. Budget oriented so there are no integrated speakers and the display height isn't adjustable (it does have adjustable tilt angle at least).

I did my homework and after reading all kinds of reviews decided to go for it. It did help it was on sell for $399. which was icing on the cake. Text is solid black, sharp as a razor and 4K content is amazing. Everything is bright and clear with no pixilation. You need to up the zoom to 175 or 200 in order to have decent size text and image. Adobe Photoshop desktop does not zoom, at least my version but Adobe Lightroom and Acrobat DC do. However, there is a fix for that. Overall it was the right choice of $K monitor. Don't waste more time working with 1080P, this is the future!

Using this as a work monitor for home office (and an occasional PlayStation screen). Works great, lots of screen real estate, good color. Easy to set up.

Probably the best 4k monitor for the money on the market right now. IPS so excellent colors and viewing angles. Stand only has tilt but has a VESA mount. No USB ports but can't complain for the price. Also, first monitor had some bad IPS glow and a dead pixel but swapped it out and no complaints with the new panel.

I wanted an UHD IPS monitor for processing pictures. This monitor met the bill for me. It is not top of the line, but it is by far the best in its price range. I cannot justify spending 1000+ for a monitor. If you need a great monitor for images then this one provides the best bang for the buck. Beautiful picture, very little callibration required (although I did run colormunki calibration to make it the best). Great size. Yes, the stand is a little flimsy, but I am going to be hanging it so that will not be an issue when I finish my home office.

I have 2 of these monitors for photo editing, side by side, both color calibrated with color munki photo. They should be identical in color, but tjey are not. One is slightly more blue than the other when displaying pure white, (255, 255, 255). I can no difference in the color of any images though.

The monitor is very sleek and the price is right. Freesync means the cost is kept lower than Gsync monitors, and LG did a great job at designing the panel. The resolution looks great, and this monitor is a great match for an AMD card.

Nice entry level 4k monitor. Not perfect but still really great. I've been using it for processing raw photos, It's color isn't as nice as a 90%+ Adobe RGB, but LG's S-IPS panels still have great color, a step above most monitors, especially at this price point.

4K screens have been coming down in price lately and this is a nice example. $330 is a great price for this 27" model, and LG knows how to make a nice-looking screen. I bought this for my PC game-loving son and he's very happy with it. I'm actually thinking of getting one myself!

It was really easy to setup and easy to navigate through the menus. looks amazing, but when on sleep mode it has a blinking light which is annoying, but you can easily turn off the monitor. Overall it is pretty great!

The only reason I rated it 4 out of 5 is because it doesn't include nVidia's GSync technology. For the price, I can't complain too much though. This display is the maximum I would want before considering a curved display. If you sit too close information towards the edges of the monitor leave your peripheral vision, but at normal viewing distance it's about perfect. There is another version of this display that LG doesn't sell through Best Buy that is $50 cheaper, so do your research on that.

This is a beautiful monitor, and displays colors really well. It calibrates well, and color reproduction is very nice. It comes calibrated from the factory with a calibration report, but I still profile my monitors to my room environment. These achieve the white point easily with the custom RGB sliders, and once the profile is created, any difference before and after application of the calibration profile is barely noticeable. I do have these connected to an Nvidia GPU, but to be honest, G-Sync vs FreeSync is not something I care about. I do occasionally play games, but I typically use my computer for working remotely and photo editing. Now, it is not a true 10-bit panel (it is 8-bit plus A-FRC), nor is it a wide gamut monitor, but if you are looking for resolution and great sRGB coverage, this monitor should be a consideration. I also have it connected to Windows 10 with scaling set to 150%. Text is very difficult to read when at 100% display scaling, as the 27" is a bit small for 4K / UHD at 100% scaling. Also, please note that Windows 10 has a few quirks if you have two monitors with different scaling connected to the same computer. For example, if you have a 24" monitor with a resolution of 1920x1200 at 100% scaling, and this monitor with a resolution of 3840x2160 at 150% scaling, the desktop icons will be at 150% scale on the smaller monitor. Also, some applications are not built to handle different scaling percentages between monitors well, and Microsoft leaves that part of the application to the application's developers. Microsoft is working on it though, and may have the quirks worked out with future updates. I previously had a triple monitor setup, and while I did lose functionality of that setup, I did gain more resolution for a single monitor and it's something I look forward to using when editing photos. I did read reviews regarding a weak stand, but I cannot comment on that because I have a VESA mount that I use.

This is a great gaming monitor for PS4 Pro. Was initially a little difficult to setup (PS4 Pro's fault, not the monitor) but works great once it's done. A great value if you don't need HDR or in built speakers

This monitor has excellent matte finish, bright and colorful. The whites look very pure. The stand isn't sturdy but just good enough. The main issue I found is with the placement of ports right next to the vesa mounting area. If you have a monitor mount with a wide side arm like Ergotron Model 33-296-195, it is going to block the wire coming from the ports. I found no way around this and had to return the monitor.

I was so disappointed the monitor would not work with a mid 2014 MacBook pro. I had to return and it was painless no problems. My friend has the monitor and it looks beautiful on his computer. I'm jealous.

I work in tech and probably spent to much time researching new displays, I run both Mac and Windows and was looking for a replacement for my home office & work systems. Best Buy matched the price of a competitor so I saved a few dollars. The display is awesome, very straight forward and works well, clear, crisp, bright, easy to setup. I run my 2015 Macbook Pro Retina via HDMI and it works at all resolutions. Also use it with my Windows box some as well and works great. Only comment, which would not stop me from buying this display is that the stand/mount is pretty light weight. If your desk wiggles at all the display will as well. I have it mounted on an arm connected to my desk and it works great, very little movement and this LG display is about 30% lighter than the 24" dell monitor I had mounted before. I would not hesitate, it is a great display...
