Purchased the monitor for work so I didn't have to have 2 monitors side by side. Display is very crisp and allows you to have two windows open side by side. Was a bit pricey, but guess worth it.

great size screen for multi-tasking and reading multiple pages. many movies aren't 21:9 ratio yet which gives you black bars on the sides

The truth is this; I really did not want this monitor, as my last LG ISP for whatever reason just quit working... And if I'm being honest I really did not want the first LG-29 ISP but found myself sucked in by the split screen feature.. So once again I was sucked into split screen and believed this new one LG - 29 IPS LCD HD 21:9 would be the same as the old one but l found it was nothing like first one... Minor differences... And in this monitors defense it is a different model then the first LG I owned but closely related so I had dulted myself into thinking from reading and study them to be same and/or at the very least closer in features.... So that said I ended back up in to another LG for the same split screen feature only because Best Buy had it in stock locally and as I said before the other LG crapped out and So gun to my head I had to make the choice to keep my business running.... So I guess only time will tell If pulling the trigger on this LG was a fatal mistake of Russian roulet.. It's not as Techy as the fist LG ISP that died, as it is lacking in various cable ports and does not split screen for two computer simultaneous no matter what I've tried and I did! however it does split the screen in many different ways for Windows and/or Mac and I have both computer types connected and with just a Manual click on the monitor toggle I change between them both... I Would really love to have the Mac on one side of the screen and Windows on the other side of the screen like my old LG.... BUT.... It does have a great picture and really does fit on a modestly size desk for 29" screen... Anyway maybe I'll get more then two years out of this one???? But like anyone else who knows electronics, I made this purchase at my own better judgment because those of us who keep track of quality have a pretty good idea that's is all made in the same place anyway... And I should have stayed brand loyal and purchased the Sony ISP in the first place... Then that way I could have felt like I made the right choice despite any malfunction that may or may not have occurred in a Sony brand... The real truth is,, it's just not a Sony..... For whatever reason I'm a loyal Sony guy. And should have stayed that way.... Thanks for reading....

This monitor has great resolution for all your everyday tasks. It in the right space it can replace a dual monitor set up. The width of the monitor makes it easy to multitask like with two monitor but with less physical real estate and fewer cord (makes it easier for laptop users). Depending on your desk setup you may have to move your head to sea each end of the monitor, I would recommend this for everyone except those who sit very close to their monitor.

I've had this for some time now and it's still working great! Great picture, love the joystick on the bottom for easy switching between my 2 computers. Great monitor at a great price.

After discussing my needs with the sales person, he directed me to this 29 inch monitor versus two smaller monitors. The investment was definitely worth it and I use it every day.

Use it for gaming and has excellent color representation, no noticeable ghosting. Got this on sale for 180, if you can get it for around that price you can't go wrong. Buying a second.

The quality is quite good to use for regular office work and the extra wide layout works great with the "screen split" functionality. If you use a mini display adapter just make sure it supports the required resolution.

The resolution 2560x1080 is absolutely beautiful! Almost every game I play works perfect on the 21:9 aspect ratio. There are only a few games that don't work on it in the full 21:9 aspect ratio but I knew this coming into it! The gaming modes are very easy to access and makes a big difference with games depending on what your playing! All around great monitor!

I've never purchased a monitor before. I was looking for something that was priced reasonably and had decent quality. I opted for purchasing the LG - 29" Ultrawide Monitor because of its price, size, and quality. It is not 4K quality, but movies and YouTube videos are clearer beyond 1080. The ultrawide screen size is nice for extra workspace, gaming, and videos. Overall, I was happy with my LG purchase and I would purchase another LG product.

I had 3 1080 monitors and one started looking yellow. I went to buy a replacement and saw this one. I wasn't sure how it would interact with 2 other 1080 monitor, but I bought it anyway. It has totally replaced another monitor so now I'm down to this one and one other 1080 monitor. I love the setup way better than 3 monitors! My editing platform fits perfectly in this monitor while the second monitor acts as a side desktop. Perfect! Awesome buy!

At first you might think that a 29" monitor would be too large. It is not!!! It is wide enough to place to documents / windows next to each other for viewing. It comes with software for both Mac & Windows. Excellent

I have a 48' LG TV and enjoy it very much so when I saw a LG 29" HD Monitor.Now I can not get along with only the 15" LT monitor with multiple spread sheets, email and desk top.

I bought this for my kids gaming pc. We needed something that could handle the graphics of a variety of games. This monitor does awesome. I was able to score a sweet price on black friday making it a super buy.

I recently purchased this for our Graphic Designer for our business. I was concearned that when we connected our MacBook Pro up to the extra wide monitor and mirrored the image from the laptop, there would be some kind of distortion or blank space on the monitor. However, that wasn't the case. In fact the the laptop automatically configured to the correct screen size. The monitor has been awesome and our employee loves it.

Video quality is absolutely amazing. The widescreen helps immensely with video editing. Would highly recommend for any use.

I was hesitant to purchase this monitor as first because of the price but boy am I happy I went with it! The quality of this monitor is outstanding. It has great color.

It is a really high resolution screen with the ability to split the screen into many segments. Really nice to have multiple applications on one monitor at the same time.

I have two of these for my PC and I absolutely love them. The only negative thing I have to say is the out of box color calibration is a bit off but decent and the monitor lacks displayport input to truly take advantage of 75HZ at 1080p resolution. I quickly remedied this by overclocking the refresh rate using the Nvidia control panel
