Use this monitor with my SP4 and works wonderfully together. The wide screen allows me to have multiple programs open at once on the screen. Clarity is just fine for 1080p Cons: No speakers, the peripheral speakers i attached seem to cut-off when attached at low volume. Only 2 HDMI ports with NO USB or displayport

The gaming experience is the main reason to buy this monitor. There are larger options on the market too. I wanted something bigger but not too big. The only downside is if you are streaming... since you stream in HD, the resolution downsizes and it looks like a regular monitor. It also works well for having 2 windows open side-by-side. The LG software gives you some easy screen layouts to choose from.

This is one of my new Favorite monitors. I currently run a 10 monitor set up with 2 of these. Also just a heads up Best Buy will price match this as well to compete with anyone that thinks they can sell it cheaper. Anyway back to the screen. It's probably one of the nicest screens I have ever purchased. It's Widescreen, you can split to dual monitor set up. Some may frown at the 5ms but honestly ? Your not going to need much lower in my honest opinion unless your a true FPS type person and even that is pushing it 5ms is fine. Dual HDMI in the back for the split option or to toggle back and forth between different set up's. In my case I enjoy using this on my PS4 or Xbox One. Also if you limited on space and need some desk real estate on the screen get one of these. And last but not least the menu system is the easiest I have ever used on a monitor. The button on the bottom of the screen does all the toggling work and it's just that simple. Also take a look at the larger version of this as well. It costs way more but that will be my next purchase to tag alongside these 29 inch widescreens. Buy with 100% complete confidence knowing you are getting a quality product. Also It's going to run at a very different resolution so just be aware depending on what you are hooking up to this screen because it will stretch the screen to accommodate. But to me that's not a downfall just do a little research is all. Thumbs up.

The monitor was really nice, price is good. The size and looks are great. I got it on sale. I am using this monitor for my work. This is the first time I bought a big size monitor and really loved it. I used to have dual monitor for work but not anymore. I could now vie a file side by side with just this one. I have this monitor for over a month and so far no issues.

This is a really good monitor. It works perfectly for excel spreadsheets. Wonderful resolution. And really bright. The only problem that I have with this monitor is the location of the HDMI and power connections. I am setting them up on a set of monitor arms and it makes it a little difficult for hookups but not enough to keep me from buying this product. A very good buy. Especially for the price. Buy this monitor!

I am a user who tends to like two monitors so that I may work in multiple windows at once. This fantastic monitor allows that same interface on one elegant screen. Additionally, watching streaming media on this monitor is actually better resolution and image quality than any of the televisions in my home. So very glad that I made this purchase.

great resolution easy to set up nice wide screen

I've been really pleased with this monitor. It is great for work and play. I have this set up as an extended screen for my laptop, but also use the 2nd HDMI port for my Xbox One S console. 4K shows up great. My only complaint is the location of the navigation controls. These are located on the underside of the monitor and can be difficult to use as times.

I am very pleased with this monitor. It has good back lighting and bright colors. It's longer but easier on your eyes and neck. For someone with eye problems like I have it's perfect. In fact, I am going to purchase a second one in case they quit making them. It's also reasonably priced.

Perfect monitor for telecommuting from home with a laptop. I can display three Word documents simultaneously, or super wide Excel spreadsheets. I knocked off one point because it only accepts HDMI inputs, and my previous work laptop wasn't compatible. After the laptop upgrade, I'm a happy camper.

This wide screen is great for movies. But I use it more as my second monitor to my MacBook Pro. It's wide enough to have to apps open on this screen alone. The only thing is that it doesn't have internal speakers. So this is why I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5.

I wanted to replace my old multi-monitor setup without spending a lot of money. This was the perfect solution for me, ultrawide 1080p resolution for a good price. 8 months later and I am still happy with the purchase.

I bought this monitor, because it has two HDMI inputs. The associate told me that I could run two simultaneous inputs and split the screen (two computers on one monitor basically). Not so. It only accepts one HDMI input at a time, but has two inputs so you can switch between them, but not view two computers on one split screen monitor simultaneously. Great resolution and refresh rate.

This was a Christmas gift to my college age son who reports to me that it is good for the price. It does have only one HDMI which is not good. It is good for his post production work. I have seen the screen and it does look quite nice as it is extra wide.

I had to replace my Apple Thunderbolt display as it was getting some blow by on the left side. Looked around and was not planning on a very wide monitor but this one is perfect for me. I can have multiple documents open at one time. Just get one.

While it is only 1/3 wider than a standard widescreen it gives you significantly more screen space. Don't forget a 4k compatible HDMI cable, the standard 1080p cable doesn't cut it.

Fair warning, bought this on sale for about US$200, so my opinion of the value is based on that. For a medium sized monitor, the LG is great. The picture is clear and the extra desktop space is welcome. It has add-on software that will divide up the monitor into 2-4 sections for placing different apps, in case Windows doesn't do that the way you like. The unexpected feature was the 'dual-control' that allows you to use monitor like a KVM switch (Keyboard-Video-Mouse). I can hook my laptop up via the HDMI cable and use my desktop's keyboard and mouse to control it. Switching is easy, though the software took some work to get running.

The extra-wide screen is great! When I used it with my computer it was perfectly compatible. I wish it worked with my MacBook Air and Google Chromecast. The resolution doesn't work completely with both and I get two large black spaces on each side. I can change it so that it can fill in the screen, but it literally stretches out the image. Sad, but can't be helped that they don't work after I already purchased the monitor. I'm also too lazy to purchase or download a program that edits that. I wish it was just automatic. I love this monitor though! It makes working on my laptop a lot easier and I like using my Chromecast on it. Only thing I wish it had was a USB port.

I purchased this to replace my 21 inch monitor and it is amazing! Do much room for activities! All my games handled the odd resolution perfectly and iRacing was awesome.

Great price on a 29 inch monitor. Performance has been great. Nice little app to control functions. It only has HDMI input so be aware of that. Otherwise great product.
