Great mid-range

Great mid-range performance for the price (bought it discounted). I've got it mounted to the bottom of a 77" C5 in a relatively small living room, so it's enough. Dolby Atmos is surprisingly clever at simulating surround sound. My only complaint is the upper range of volume isn't noticeable sometimes. Can't tell much of a difference from 60%+. The easy sync with the LG C5 TV is super convenient though!

So ive been looking for a solution of trying to hide my hdmi 2.1 cables going from my TV to my old soundbar since I wanted to make sure I get the full atmos experience via the eARC hdmi connection. The HDMI cablw that I was using were too thick to run through the current 1 inch electrical conduit behind the walls. Luckily I stumble upon the LG Wowcast WTP3 adapter that you can plug into the LG C1 TV's hdmi eARC connection and connect to this soundbar wirelessly and yet still have full the full atmos experience. Overall great sound bar and wasy setup. Make sure you use the LG Soundbar App on your phone to allow yourself full configuration options. ALSO, I had purchased the Open Box Excelent Condition version and saved myself $400 from buying brand new. When I opened the box, everything was still wrapped up with all manuals and acessories and all brand new. I did noticed there was a very small micro dent on the top of the sound bar. No way a person can notice it unless they use a magnifying glass. Thus save yourseld some money an buy the open box with the geek squad 4 year equipment purchase add on.

Good, but I'd expect a little more for the price. I bought two of these mid November so they were on a pretty good sale, but I still expect more. They include 2 different types of mounts for LG TV's, which I'd assume is included in the price as well.
Pros:
Easy to install, gets loud, easy to use
Cons:
I'm not ware of how they can be paired for multi-room connection.
Sound controls seem off, so regularly increasing and decreasing the volume at different times in a show or movie.
Lots of presses of the button to increase and decrease volume.
One of the units would drop bluetooth connection every 15 minutes. Best Buy would not ship me a replacement without first returning the defective unit.......so when I returned it, I tried a different brand and it was overall better (Sono Beam Gen 2) and much smaller.
If you are using an LG OLED TV, this may be perfect for you. If not, I'd suggest looking elsewhere for more bang for your buck.

Lee my sales rep was awesome. Soundbar was easy to set up and dialing it in with the app was simple. My only complaint is that the optional rear speaker kit is no longer available from LG. Do you need it? Not really. It’s more of a want. It is still a relevant soundbar so I removed a star. LG… do better! I would not reccomend this because LG falsely advertises that a rear speaker kit can be added. Best Buy was great though!

Great audio quality. Was upgrading from older Samsung model and this was definitely a great decision. Easy to set up and as it essentially sets up iteslf for best sound quality. I love the option to adjust settings in the app. Using on a Samsung tv and works seamlessly. Only con is that it is pretty large so if you arent using the bracket it comes with which only works on slect LG tvs you have to have a good space for it to go especially since you can’t have the top covered as it has top firing speakers.

The LG C Series (SC9S) soundbar with wireless subwoofer is a sleek and powerful 3.1.3-channel audio system designed to pair seamlessly with LG’s C-series OLED TVs. It delivers clear dialogue, strong bass, and immersive Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support, making it a great upgrade for everyday TV watching, gaming, and movie nights. The wireless subwoofer adds satisfying low-end depth, while HDMI 2.1 passthrough, VRR, and ALLM support make it ideal for gamers seeking minimal lag and smooth performance. Its “WOW Orchestra” feature and included mounting bracket enhance synergy with LG TVs, offering both visual and functional integration. However, it lacks dedicated rear or side-firing speakers, so the surround experience isn’t as expansive as some rivals like Sony or Samsung systems. Out of the box, it sounds balanced but can benefit from fine-tuning through LG’s app. Overall, the LG C Series soundbar offers excellent clarity, deep bass, and strong connectivity, especially for LG TV owners, though serious home-theatre enthusiasts may crave more immersive surround options.

This configuration is ideal for my smaller living room after other more expensive options with more speakers sounded hollow. This is the one that keeps it simple and knocks it out of the park. It also pairs perfectly with my LG TV and automatically plays wow orchestra via eARC with excellent results.

When I purchased my 65-inch LG OLED TV from Best Buy, the person who helped me pick out the TV recommended this sound bar as a perfect match. I love the sound bar. It gives you the feeling of watching a movie in the theater. It sounds great along with the subwoofer. I highly recommend it.

Connectivity is super simple especially with my C4, sound quality is great, I would just recommend using the app to boost some of the levels, as dialogue isn't always the clearest, however the sound is very clear still and expansive, and the subwoofer packs a punch without sounding muddy, quite precise, at least in comparison with my Soundbar from 2016. Biggest downside is the lack of screen so it's difficult to know what your settings are and how they're changing, but once you dial them in it works great.

I am still getting use to the speaker sound. The base sound is not very obvious. As a matter of fact, I often wonder if it is even working. I also think a manual that explains how to vary the sound would have been nice. My light patterns on the speaker do not match what the startup guide describes.

Overall, this soundbar is pretty great, mainly use it to listen to music so I know im not using it to its full potential but man, this soundbar and sub is pretty dang good. Owning it for a few weeks and I find myself amazed by it every time. Definitely a good soundbar, though I do feel like some tweaks can be made about the subwoofer as at times it does seem either underpowered (somewhat up close) or perfect (at a distance)

Paris perfect with my new LG 77-in OLED. I thought I was going to need to add more speakers but the technology it uses allows the soundbar itself to act as surround. It goes through a setup when you first connect it and you put where it is located in the room and where the TV is located from the sound bar itself and magic happens. Now I don't need to buy any more speakers to put in the living room for that rich sound quality with the perfect amount of bass, its a 100% must have to go with the outstanding LG OLED picture quality, totally worth it! Btw The LG while orchestra setting is out of this world.

Great cinematic depth compared to the cheaper LG soundbars. Connects to the TV directly for easy mounting of TV/Soundbar all-in one, no mess of wires. Great look and sound.

I purchased this LG sound bar system for my daughter and family for her birthday, based on CR recommendations. They enjoy premium sound, but with 2 young children running about they did not want extra surround speakers. They are thrilled with this LG’s most excellent dynamic sound, subwoofer performance, ease of setup, and compatibility with their LG TV.
