Our new washer is quiet, uses less water, and get our clothes as clean as our old-style did. It does take a bit longer, but that's not a big deal for us.

The washer is very energy efficient, and so quiet! It's the best washing machine I have ever owned!

-Dirty knees on kids jeans and similar ground in dirt does not come out. Must pre-scrub area and then wash on longest cycle (1hour42minutes) -Foul odor inside machine (like sewage). I always leave top open when not in use, but this extra air circulation does not help. Adding bleach removes it, but after a few wash cycles it's back again.

Had a LG front loader, always fought musty smells. This top loader is simple and quiet.
