We have had the refrigerator for six weeks. At this point, we are extremely pleased with the refrigerator. We previously had the same LG refrigerator of the same Cu. Ft. size. In general we have been delighted with the design and flexibility of the shelves. Improvements are larger interior of 1" in depth, much better brighter lights inside refrigerator and greatly improved ice maker that has a stirrer to keep ice from chunking. We had significant repairs on the prior LG model - I really believe was a 'lemon' - So a leap of faith to get another one, except others did not have all the issues we had with the lemon. We are very satisfied now.

We love our new LG fridge. It's huge inside. Our 26 cubic feet fridge that died before it was packed and this one is less than half full after moving everything over to it. It has tons of freezer space and double the refrigerator space of the old one. It makes plenty of ice and the water filter puts out lots of water fast.

Nice and Big enough for my Family plenty of ice, and makes it fast and I save some in bags for the freezer at night love this refrigerator

Size is fantastic, very bright LED lights, storage compartments nicely sized. Love the pull out shelf and easy access compartments. Plenty of room in freezer, just love it!

We got this unit open box because it wouldn’t fit in the area their other fridge did. Well duh! This unit has more space than you can possibly use. We use it as a second fridge in the garage....the only place a monster like this would fit. Remember when buying a fridge, even if you have the space, will it pass through your doors, hallways? You have to check these things out BEFORE buying. Don’t get me wrongI love this unit, just know what you are buying and prevent disappointment. Or just buy wrecklessly because them I can buy new stuff open box. Best Buy gave me a wonderful deal and must say it lives up to all the hype the unit garners.

Researched many fridges. Landed on this one for its size, brand loyalty and its overall design and layout. Great for a large family with easy draw for kids snacks, juices, go yurts, etc. spacious freezer w pizza draw. Just great flexible design with led lighting.

LG has serious issues with the French Door/Freezer bottom model. I bought this refrigerator in 2015 and it has broken twice! The first time it broke was due to a bad fan and the second time the compressor failed. Each time I was without a refrigerator around a month. The repairman informed me each time that he works on the LG French Door/Freezer bottom model several times a week. There is a serious flaw in the design. If you buy this model do NOT skip the extended warranty.

We had the counter depth version of this fridge for 2 years, so when we built a new house, we made sure we had the extra depth needed to get the full sized. fridge. The ice maker in the door saves a ton of space in the refridgerator and the many compartments and bins throughout make it easy to organize your food and drink.

I found out after we bought it that its the largest one best buy carriers. Which is perfect with 4 active boys. Love all the extra drawers and the third draw in the freezer. I took me a month to review the right one and I'm very happy with this one.

Love the ice in door feature. Not just the ice, but the ice MAKER is in the door. So we don't lose shelf space like most other brands. Looks nice as well

This fridge is exactly what we needed for our large 8 person family. We like everything about it. It has tons of space and we haven't had a single problem.

Our LG - 31.7 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless steel purchsed 4.5 years ago, has blown a compressor. It is fully covered under warranty for parts and now labor because of known defects in the cooling system. The service team promises quick resolve but does not follow up on their committed actions. - We will call the service company on Friday December 13th to give them the APN authorization for parts number. they did not call on Monday, We called them on Tuesday and they gave us the APN to give to the service company. They said they would call to have our repair expedited. They have not called them or sent the service company the needed parts. 6 days later. Hope to see if we have a repaired fridge by the new year.

This LG fridge has the smartest icemaker design I've seen, and I looked at a lot of fridges. The icemaker is built into the door so it doesn't take up a big part of your refrigerator. They even put shallow shelves on the outside of it so you don't lose all your door storage. Also, the built in water filter makes for great tasting ice and water. I had this fridge, in counter depth, in my NY apartment and I knew I wanted the full depth version for the house I'm building.

Their ‘innovative’ compressor system failed after 5 years. Incredibly expensive repairs, even with the Warrantee. Avoid this.

We went from a 22 cubic foot GE Profile fridge that couldn't store hardly anything to this incredibly huge fridge. No complaints - I love the shelves that collapse so you can put tall items in too!

When just had a new home built, but the fridge that came with the house was not what we wanted and we decided once we got in we would go looking for a fridge to fit the hole. In the past we have had great ones from LG so we decided to stick with what we know. I found the smaller version in the store and the larger one was on sale as well. We purchased it and could not be happier. The Geek Squad delivered and installed in on time and did not mark up any of the floors or walls. Only thing is when purchasing the salesperson said you get your 5% in rewards and 18 months no interest, he was wrong on that item as I only got the 18 months. I may call them to verify this as well, but it not a deal breaker.

LG is a company that has rude customer service people, I bought this refrigerator and I had it 6 weeks, No one could repair it. It never got cold and did not make ice. Lg said they would never replace it and they did not care how many repairs it would take to fix it. So I exchange it for a Whirlpool.

My family keeps growing so I i love my new LG fridge, space convince and I love the freezer space.

Great value for the price. We love the look, the spacious footage, and great interior lighting.
