Wanted the 32 inch screen, so I went with this LG monitor. Price was good, but the speaker was not good. The speaker with crack on and off. Eventually, I just couldn't take it so I returned it.

It’s a good monitor. It doesn’t get as crisp a picture as I’d like.

the picture with my existing desktop isn't as clear as i had hope it would be. I use AutoCad and the picture is not as crisp as I was led to believe that it would be.

This is a fine 4k monitor at its price, but it has a major flaw - the HDMI ports do not allow 4k60hz. I trouble shooted this with 4 different devices and 8+ hdmi cables, nothing i tried worked. I updated the firmware, i messed around with the monitor settings, I even went as far as creating custom resolutions to try to make it work, and the monitor will not output 4k60hz from hdmi. the best it will do is 4k30hz which is a little jarring when even doing basic tasks. through dvi it works fine, but i have multiple systems and going to the back of the display to swap every time is a huge pain.

If you are thinking of supplementing a MacBook Pro go another direction. You really won’t see any improvement over a much cheaper option.

This monitor has a great picture but the speakers are so bad they’re unusable.

I thought it should work with mac , unfortunately it doesn't work with mac or imac

I though I was getting a deal with this 32" 4K monitor, as it was only $20 more than the LG 27UK600, but I was wrong. I hooked it up and it didn't look as sharp. Went through all the settings to match my 28" LG and it looked grainy and washed out. I should've googled it first, turns out this is a VA panel and not an IPS like my 27" LG. You'll see the difference if you've used IPS panels or high quality screens like Macs and others. Picked it up today and back in the box it goes, I'm returning it in the morning and picking up another LG 27UK600 that's on sale for $349. Unless your eye sight is poor, then get a good quality 32-40" IPS panel, otherwise, the LG 27UK600 is very nice.

Most applications work well, but this monitor does not play well with Google Chrome. If a Chrome window is moved from another monitor onto the LG 4K, the right and bottom edges no longer work to resize. Context menus and status bar text show up in odd places. Dragging the top edge does work and the text on the page jumps in size. Once that happens, the bottom and side can be dragged to resize the window. My other monitors are all Dell and I really miss having USB ports on the side of this LG. Even with a GeForce GTX 1060 6GB graphics card, this monitor is pretty slow. Dragging windows are pretty jumpy. I don't use it for games and can't comment there. 4K and size are great. This will be a decent monitor when the buggy drivers are fixed.

I have been using this monitor for almost 4 years now, for both personal and professional work. Its been used for numerous mac and windows OS. I honestly don’t even use the screens that they send me from work. This monitor will spoil you for anything less. I cannot recommend this screen enough.

Crisp, sharp images. User friendly UI. Great monitor for consoles and 4k flicks.
