I was a bit hesitant to buy this monitor because of the price point. However, I buckled down and bought it. After 2 weeks of use I couldn't be more pleased. The monitor doesn't lose resolution even with its size. The color is great and has many options. I use it for gaming and video production and it was a perfect addition to my setup! Anyone gaming will love the extra field of view that it has! Ultimately great product for the price

LG 34" UW 2560x1080

Works well, its a 1920 x 1080 stretched to 2560x1080 like a rubber band. Display is clear and use it as a second monitor on one of my systems for spreadsheets and just for a little bigger look and feel on engineering drawings. For technical work, the LG UW 3440x1440 is the one you SHOULD get and I have one and is awesome. Best Buy didn't have the 3440x1440 in stock and still doesn't so had to settle for this one. I have 4Ks and one 8K display on other systems, the UW line from LG work well, no fuss, just plug and go. Fit and finish are LG's strength and quality is great. I don't use the included stand and use ARM mounts. Worth getting if you need UW format, but opt for the 3440x1440 version which is ultra awesome.

I like the size of the screen. Easy to work on multiple things with several windows open. Did not like that it does not have a speaker or camera.

The monitor is excellent. I needed it for development work and I find it very good. The colors are accurate, the installation was easy and gives me extra real estate on the screen to open up multiple windows. There are two HDMI connection which allow you to connect 2 computers with this monitor.

This is a great monitor! Works perfectly with my new iMac with M1 in it. perfect picture quality, easy menu to navigate. Took me a few to get used to the one button stick below monitor but didn't take me long to get used to it. Really helps with extending my screen and the fact that it is VESA mountable made it easy to get a nice mount to make it much more eye level.

I’ve had this monitor only weeks, but I will say I love it. I love the ultra wide look, the AMD free sync feature is great for gaming.also, the HDR feature is quite nice as well. This isn’t a gaming monitor, but it performs nicely as my gaming monitor. I play warzone on it daily.and the price is great for a monitor of this quality.

Upgraded to this from an old 25" hp. This monitor is big, colorful, and gets plenty bright! I think it's a bit large for 1080p, and the lack of speakers was disappointing at first but I don't mind much now. My next monitor will likely be a bit smaller, but this is a great buy for those looking for a lot of screen real estate!

After 28 days of my initial purchase, I had a serious issue with this monitor. I reached out to LG for assistance and they could not resolve. I had an image from a website lock itself in place. We tried resetting, unplugging, running with no input. Nothing worked. The image was frozen in place but appeared very similar to a QCR code image. Only way to describe it. LG said they would send a shipping label and I would have to figure out how to send or pay UPS to package, as I tossed the box. They advised to go back to Best Buy and attempt exchange as they may except so I left monitor unplugged and figured I would head over in the AM. Next morning, I turned on to check and the image was slightly less pronounced. I rolled the dice and left powered down another day and Sunday morning the image was gone. Very strange as this has never happened to me before and I have owned at least 20 monitors since the 80’s!
I thought I dodged a bullet but now I notice the brightness tends to flicker from time to time, and when it does, it is very noticeable and distracting. I can only hope if this thing does die, it does it within the next year so I can send to LG and get a replacement because now Best Buy will not exchange, as it’s beyond their acceptance period.
Bottom line, I would seek alternative monitors, as this one has proven problematic in a short time.
I have given three stars as the monitor looks good and fits my desk space nicely. Sadly, it has less than a hundred hours in it and is not meeting my expectations. I have owned plenty of LG products, TV’s, phones, refrigerator, microwave, dual oven range. This one falls short.

Having two monitors for the past 5 years was good.
It really helped with my productivity. Went to BB to check out some TV products and got lost in the computer monitor section. My friend recommended that I should try these new ultrawide monitors so I went ahead and "investigated" what's nice about these ultrawides. To make the long story short, bought this LG monitor and hooked it up. 5 minutes after using it, I quickly understand what my friend meant when he recommended the LG ultrawide monitor.
-Bessel was so thin, its just perfect
-Full HD HDR was just super crispy
-No more annoying black line in between the two monitors. (This is the part that I love the most)
For those of you who are still on the fence, just buy this monitor and test it out. Give it a shot. Most likely, you will fall in love with this monitor and will not return it. Good luck.

This computer monitor is exactly what I was looking for. It is really easy to set up and does not take a lot of room on my desk. You can easily put 2 windows up side by side and it has plenty of room on the screen to do that.

This monitor is great. It is a wide screen, but it height is not proportional, making it a perfect fit for my setup. The picture quality is great, and I haven't had any issues. Considering the price, this was a steal.

Great big monitor for a very affordable price. The biggest disadvantage is that it doesn’t adjust vertically nor does it fold forward or backward. The display colors are very good and the base is very low profile.

LG 34" Ultrawide Review

I tried three monitors in home with this being my third and final decision. I am very happy with it. I started with a 32" 16:9 screen that I thought would be all I need. I was disappointed however that a 16:9 didn't actually give me more screen real estate, but just made everything on my laptop screen larger. (Yes, this was my first ever monitor purchase, total beginner here). My primary goal with this monitor is to use it with a docking station for my laptop for when I want a desktop feel/experience but using my laptop to run it all. I then tried an ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio with 29" screen as I thought going down a few inches but gaining the wideness would about even out. I was wrong again. The 29" ultrawide unfortunately seemed tiny once I get used to the 32" 16:9. It was just so short, super wide, but really short. I got spoiled with the height of the 32" regular screen and couldn't be satisfied with the 29" ultrawide which is ultimately what led me to the 34" ultrawide 21:9 that I am reviewing here and currently run. I love it and found that it is the ultimate size for my setup with both adequate height (just slightly shorter than the 32" regular screen) and I love the ultrawide design. It gives me the ability to have three word documents pulled up next to each other at the same exact time while keeping the word documents to 100% view. It really has been a game changer for me and I'd say anyone thinking of trying an ultrawide will probably never go back to a 16:9 one you try this. It also makes running Microsoft Excel amazing with all the space left and right. I am now seeing more of my spreadsheet at full scale. It's awesome. it also gives me the ability to have a full size word document up on the right side while having a full size Excel screen to the left so I can input data more efficiently without ever having to pan back and forth between tabs anymore. Also the quality of this screen seems awesome. I can attest that the IPS does look quite a lot better than the VA panel now that I have tried both. Overall I give it a 5 out of 5 and highly recommend it. I also found it is the best value in the ultrawide category as anything bigger and better than this started to get very high priced.

I love this upgrade. This monitor replaced two smaller monitors that added up to the same viewing area. I was able to get rid of both monitors and the dual-monitor clamp mount that held them. Really gave my desk a cleaner look with more usable surface space. Resolution of the monitor and the clarity is awesome providing a crisp smooth image. I may get another for my home office.

Beautiful monitor. No speakers (FYI). This model doesn't have built in speakers. Otherwise it's great. Love the ultrawide's 33% extra space on scrin. Split mode is fantastic.
