High pitch whine in the cooling fan.

I have grown to like our LG washer and dryer, and thought this would be a good brand. I did not read any comments in the reviews about how loud and annoying the cooling fan is. There is not a way to bypass it, and no way to eliminate the noise. It has a very high pitched whine which would have caused me to not purchase this if I had known.
