Purchased the Washer and matching Dryer after our Maytag set reached the end of the road. Couldn't believe that a new machine could make such a difference! The LG combo is so quiet and efficient that you hardly know when they are operating. Very happy with our purchase.

Love this washer! I did a ton of reasherch and this is the most recommened model and great price. Cleans beautifully, my husband is an auto mechinic and his clothes are very dirty, but they come out looking great.

This is a great washer. The cycles are perfect, the color is great, the clothes come out almost dry which cuts down the drying time. This is built to last, it is quiet and does a great job on the clothes.

Havent got the hang of all the buttons yet but my clothes are coming out fresh and clean ... easy start up but just want to figure it all up -- got a great deal on the washer and dryer pair AND triple reward point and bought one pedestal and got the other one free....

Having never purchased an LG Product is was skeptical. However the research and reviews indicated that this LG Model was one of the best washers currently on the market. After placing the order at our local best Buy Store we picked the washer up from the Best Buy Warehouse so there was no need to schedule a delivery. I must note that Best Buy also did a price match on their already low price. Set up was easy for me, but I have installed a few washers in my time. The installation instructions are very clear and precise. Per the instructions: Be sure to use the anti-slip pads provided for the floor and remove the shipping bolts from the back of the unit. This washer reminds me of the old heavy duty laundromat type models. It really has a very powerful spin cycle. Since this is a water saver model it makes different types of sounds from a traditional washer while in the various cycles. It is a front loader.

After extensive research on Consumer Reports we bought this highly rated LG washer and the matching dryer. It does a nice job - the clothes are clean. It even cleans the cloth diapers well. But lately it started leaking. Suds and water were seeping out of the bottom and ruining the floor. The worst part is that it's only three months old! A brand new appliance shouldn't be leaking. We are using the correct HE soap. Very disappointing.

This washer is awesome! I got rid of an old washer I had and the difference is amazing! My old clothes have new life! Be prepared to stock up on lots of Tide front loading washing liquid because you will want to wash everything in your house even if they were previously washed with a different unit. My whites are like new, old blankets I was ready to toss out have come out soft and fluffy again. The steam option is great too! There are also some cycles that are very quick if you are in a hurry. Very quiet as well, cant even tell the unit is on and a very pleasant tone is played when the wash cycle is finished. I would be devastated if I had to go back to my old washer! You wont be sorry with this at all.

Can't complain price was right Service was great delivery prompt and professional Washer and dryer were a huge step up from our previous and would recommend to Anyone get clothes clean and dry in a resin able time. I love them. Working on pedestals

No complaints. Cleans well. Would recommend buying the drawer for underneath otherwise you have to bend over a lot to load it. Be sure to follow all the instructions about drying the inner seal and detergent compartments after use to prevent a mildew odor

Don't let the reviews fool you, this unit just needs to be setup properly. Water hammer arresters keep the loud noises away, and only cost 20 bucks. No vibrations with proper adjustment, and clothes always come out like new again. Highly recommended.

After my top loading HE washing machine from a different manufacturer stopped draining during the spin/rinse cycle and rusted beneath the soap dispenser after only 2 years I went back to a front loader. After using this washer for a while I realize that perhaps my last washer wasn't cleaning the clothes as well as I thought. I really like the various cycle options available with this washer and am really glad I went with this model. It has a large tub that can hold tons of clothes, but I try not to wash too many clothes at once.

I love this washer but am really frustrated with the water hammer issue. Apparently these machines have a solenoid that shuts the water off very quickly. Since this machine has water jets the whole house shakes about 8-10 times per wash. Installing arrestors on the cold and hot lines does nothing. The water pressure into my house is 75 psi which I'm told is just fine. Also, as the machine is weighing the clothes deciding how much water to allow, that sound is also annoying. I think these machines have a ways to go until they are functioning better so if you are on the fence about getting one, hold off. This is why I rated the performance so low.

We were forced to buy a new washer and dryer since our old washer did not work anymore. We found this washer/dryer set and we love it, it really washes clothes very well and fast. It has a great variety of settings and features.

We have been looking to replace our old but still running washer and found a great deal on the LG - 4.0 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle High-Efficiency Steam Front-Loading Washer. Getting a great deal and 18 months to pay, we could not pass on it.

I did a bit of research prior to purchasing this item, but I am pleased with the purchase. The machine works really well, and I haven't even had a chance to or needed to try all the modes yet. Seems to be gentle on the clothing.

First class washer. LG is an excellent brand. I would buy again.
