Was an open box item and runs great. Easy to use and is very quiet except for when it is balancing the load it really hammers the pipes with the small water squirts that balance the drum.

I like how easy this machine operates! Although most of the cycles take over an hour, I still like how well it washes the clothes.

We have had ours for over 5 years now and it still runs like a champ - we will need to have the front seal gasket cleaned or replaced soon though

I have little issue with this product. Washers are not built like they use to. If they last 6-10 years then you found a good washer. I had a different model and it lasted 9 years. This is quiet (GOOD), larger (BETTER) - but does take longer then my old washer. I would recommend this product at this point - no issues to date.

I absolutely love this washer. It's quite and doesn't use that much water or energy. It can handle large loads easily, it's presets are very convenient, and the cycles are relatively fast. It's aesthetically pleasing, and plays the cutest little song when a load is washed.

I love my LG front loading washing machine. I will never go back to a top-loader. I have nothing negative to say about this product. It is well worth the extra money!

this is the first set of front load washer and dryer set we've bought and they're great. clothes are brighter, cleaner, uses less water, and the detertent lasts longer. uses less detergent to wash clothes and clothes seem cleaner than with our old top load washer. we are very satisfied with our new set of washer and dryer.

The LG WM3050CW is a solid machine that has all the necessary functions I need. After proper leveling it is very quiet as compared to the more expensive LG WM3470HVA which I returned due to excessive banging on spin cycle. It also has a fresh care function that consistently fluffs the clothes intermittently on all cycles which the 3470 does not have. This is important because the 3470 would end up with clothes stuck to the drum at the end of some cycles making it difficult to remove wrinkles after drying. It does not have a steam function. However I never had this function on the previous washers I owned and never needed it. You will need a pair of inexpensive arresters because of the water hammer LG washers produce due to their quick valve closure.

We needed to replace our washer and dryer and after much research (CR, store reviews) found that this washer had good reliability and the features we wanted. Originally, because we had an old Kenmore top loader, we thought that we would get a HE top loader. After reading many things about the roughness on clothes and that the wife would need a stool to get to the bottom for the top loaders, we settled on this front loader. Glad we made the decision. Even the kids can get the clothes out of the washer. The washer is very easy to use. Just set the dial to the type of clothes you are washing, add detergent to the dispenser and press start. The machine does the rest. Clothes come out clean in a reasonable amount of time (longer if you use the pre-wash function). You still need to pretreat tough stains (grass, food, etc.). A couple of comments on this type of washer: 1. The fill valves on this machine are fast acting and will "thunk" when opening and closing -- sometime in quick succession between the hot and cold water to mix to the correct temperature. The noise did not carry through the house, but was noticeable enough. I installed water hammer arresters at each of the connections. These take up the water hammer force that would travel through the piping. You can pick them up at the home improvement store. 2. We were originally concerned that the washer would vibrate and shake more than a top loader. This did not happen and found that the spin cycle is not only quieter than our old machine, but smoother also.

This is one of those washers that keeps getting better with time. I have started using it for basic hot/cold washes, but it has a bunch of really good features. One of my favorites is the Water plus.. that allows the washer to fill with more water. Some things can be VERY Dirty and this allows it to soak more.... over all, the wash is great and clothes are clean and bright. One thing to manage expectations, front loaders do use LESS water but also do take MORE time. So be aware.... that the wash will take longer.... but not a huge time more.

Ultra large capacity, high efficiency, Largest to smallest loads, washer knows how much water each load needs. 7 cycles to choose from plus other options as to the speed in which the washer spins out. Towels come out almost dry and less time in dryer.

I am 65 yrs old and have had many washers over the years, but none as good as this LG. Super clean clothes, quiet, uses a very small amount of water and has an amazing array of extra features. Love it!

I definitely like my new washer for it's cleaning ability, quietness, & ease of use. What I don't like about it is that the cycle times are longer than my previous machine and the machine doesn't display the total run time until after it senses the load.
