It's an average item and decent for a kitchen tv. It can deliver scent base.

I have been looking to add surround sound to my living room, but was not interested in wiring speakers. Therefore, a soundbar was the answer. I have been looking for a soundbar that would not break the bank and still offer great audio. I have an LG tv, but initially tried a Samsung 2.1 soundbar. While it was much better than the built-in speakers in the TV, it didn't have enough "Oomph" and because it wasn't an LG, I had to use yet another remote. So I returned it and bought this 4.1 LG soundbar. The installation was very easy. With this 4.1 LG soundbar, the TV and the soundbar work in unison, and the sound quality was incredible. The subwoofer is nice too. While this soundbar is not really surround sound, it does create a quesi-surround sound feel. Bluetooth connectivity was quick and painless. The only issue I am having is with the WiFi connection and the "Music Flow" app. It did not connect the few times I tried, but I don't have real use for it, so it is not a priority for me. Overall, I am very impressed with this unit. It is the perfect solution for my needs and budget. Last, I would recommend everyone to either get the same brand of speakers as your TV, unless you are going for the high-end options like Sonos which was far above my budget. Give this soundbar a try. You will like it!

    New to sound bars

Ok I am new to sound bars so I don't know if they are all the same or not. I have a few Denons receivers with HDMI/ARC and they just perform. Problems I had was My LG Tv would disconnect and stop using ARC and i would have to go back into the settings of the TV to reset up. So I tried the Opt input but if I did that I could not connect my Xbox one to the in HDMI port on the sound bar. And would loose the 4.1 options because TV would just out put 2 Chanel to the sound bar for all HDMI connected directly to the TV. Then I went with connecting sound bar to TV ARC Xbox to sound bar HDMI in port but then when turning in the Xbox every thing was 40% darker could not make out some of the things in the screen. And I still loose the ARC every time I change the input on the sound bar to anything.
