I read many reviews before deciding to try this washing machine anyway. Most of the negative reviews seemed to be that the newer high efficiency machines did not clean as well. I have had no problem so far. The loads take longer but they are larger so it ends up being about the same amount of time overall. Also, if you read the manual first and understand how to load it properly you should not have any problems with cycles restarting due to it becoming unbalanced.

I had to return another brand washer and dryer because it performed horribly. Didn't properly spin clothes so they were always soaking wet. So far, this washer has performed perfectly. In fact, it spins stuff fairly dry so the dry time is much less now. i like that it actually tells you how long the cycle will take, which varies according to the cycle you choose. LG gets an A+!

After a year of being stuck with the laundromat as the only means of getting my clothes clean, it is beyond wonderful to have this washer in my home. The HE feature means it uses less water, electricity, and detergent to get everything clean, and cleaned perfectly. The controls are in the front, so you don't have to reach to the back of the unit to start it. And the drum holds quite a bit, I was able to wash the entire bed set in one load. An absolute life saver!

I love the amout of clothes it holds and actually cleans them. It is very quiet while running which I appreciate.

We had heard a lot of FUD about HE washers before we purchased this one, but needed a relatively inexpensive washer with high capacity, so we chose this machine. Our fears were completely unfounded, the machine cleans perfectly, and it's quiet as a Buick.

So simple to use it take a special coarse to operate. It quite and runs smooth. save water and detergent.

I must admit I was scared to use this machine because of all the buttons on it. But once you get it and use it, It is so easy and simple to use. I hated washing clothes before and now I do laundry because it isnt a hassle anymore. I turned it on and had to check if it was on because it was so quiet. I love the delay timer on it. I put clothes in before bed and when I wake up in the morning. I just transfer to the dryer. This washer is big enough to wash a king size comforter. I love the song it makes at the end of cycle. I can go on and on about it but if you are in the market for a new washer, this is a great investment. I would recommend it to my friends, my enemies and anyone else who needed a washer.

The last washer we purchased was three years ago. It was supposed to never need a repairman. After 5 repairs in the first year, we limped along. Finally we got this LG. It is a joy to wash clothes again. At the end of the wash it plays a little tune to let you know it is done and the clothes are much drier and need much less time in the dryer. You can hardly tell it is even running, unlike our previous washer which shook and actually moved all over in our laundry room. Our old washer made so much noise that it made me want to leave the house when it was in use. This new washer is amazing!!!

Great dryer..this is my second one, the first my ex kept in the divorce...very easy to use and quiet!

I don't know why, but the chime signal at the end of the cycle annoys me. The washer itself is great...the features are plentiful yet simple to navigate. One improvement would be to push the option you want directly instead of having to cycle through the 8+ options. The delayed start feature is something we use more than I thought we would!

This LG washer is simply an outstanding product! Quiet, efficient, and a virtual laundry workhorse.

Initially, we loved our new washer & dryer. The washer had plenty of room for large loads. I wash most of my whites and dark colors on the "pure color" cycle which I understand now fills the tub with more water. This may explain why I haven't had as many problems as others and felt that the clothes were getting clean. With large loads, lately, I've found too many uneven loads and have had to adjust and readjust clothes in the washer. I've also had to run extra rinse/spin cycles to try to get the extra water out of the clothes because the clothes were too wet to place in the dryer. Recently, during one of the uneven loads the bottom center agitator came loose from being locked in place in the bottom of the washer and floated in the washing machine. It has actually trapped clothes underneath damaging them. I've also noticed an odor from the machine. I'm not sure if it's related to the agitator being out of place. See pictures attached.

This machine has a large capacity tub and offers many cycle features. You can even control the machine through an app. Only draw back for me is that I have to stand on a step stool to unload the washer because the tub is so deep (I'm 5'2"). Voted #1 in my consumer reports research.

We love everything about this washer. The capacity size is absolutely amazing. We are a family of 4, with 2 little ones, so we were constantly doing laundry before we bought this washer. The only downside is that the cycle times take longer than our old washer. But the matching dryer and the capacity more than make up for it. We loved our washer and dryer so much that our friends went out and bought the matching set too.

I have had this washer for about a month. It is very quiet, easy to use, and works great. The cycle takes longer than my dryer but only because it does a great job spinning the water out. (Requiring less time in dryer).
